Was just there at noon on day of new sale. Only about 1/3 of the sale tags had been changed. Want to know the prices as you shop? Good luck! And if you are lucky enough to find a tag the item is probably out of stock.Other locations don't seem to have this problem. Only Beaufort, NC.

The store is well stocked. Prices are reasonable considering the country's economic state. They have improved their own bands. The staff is friendly, and they make every effort to check people out quickly. I've been in there when the manager gets on a register to help out. I wish other managers at other stores would take the initiative to do that.

Food Lion is my go to grocery store in Beaufort.Unfortunately, on my last visit, 3/3/24, there was visibly spoiled beef in the meat department. The manager at the time was unable or unwilling to correct the situation. My opinion of the overall store has consequently dropped.

I wish corporate would stop disrupting normal operations with asinine floor layout redesigns. Oh, I'm not an employee, so I'm not checking myself out, open more real lanes (this is again directed at corporate). Local staff here is awesome.

Every time I go into this store I can't help but feel sorry for the way they are treated by management..no one should be on the floor ⁹during business hours especially rush hour on their hands and knees wiping down the bottoms of the coolers and freezers. There is a time and place for that kind of labor. Not only is it a safety violation for the employees but also the customers. Do better!!!!!

They close at 10, not 11.We arrived at the hotel at 9:30 and wanted to buy something small for our girls. I drove here and was sent home.They said that they can't control what Google says. Somehow I added this review and a picture of the store hours and suggested different hours in 5 minutes. I'm guessing any employee could have done it long before me.Update: Surprise surprise, less than 5 days after I wrote my review and suggested to update the closing times, Google now correctly says that this place closes at 10pm. You can't control what Google says about your store? Right. How about you change your name to "food lying".

Store doesn't close till 10pm... but yet your night manager deemed it necessary to close all regular registers before 730.... stop forcing people to use that stupid self checkout... your open till 10pm... at least one regular register needs to stay open... I don't get paid to do your job for you..

Pulled at 9:40 when website says they are open u til 12. They were already closed. Should update hours online when closing hours as I live out of town and made a special trip to get a couple of things. Wasted my time and gas and this is why I dislike small town stores. They close when they feel like it without publishing their changed hours.

Went in there to cash my PAYROLL CHECK which they have a sign saying they do. Was turned away because it was hand written by my boss and not printed. Not many employers in this area give printed checks

The cashier I think her name is crystal dropped a pill on the conveyor belt thing and she quickly picked it up and swallowed it. We thought it was prota Tylenol but she told another employee there it was some kind of synthetic heroin saboxin or something like that. Didn't know they hired heroin addicts. My 9 year old asked what saboxin was and we had to Google it and was extremely shocked that it was synthetic heroin. Never going back to this store.

There's an African American guy in there that just wants to play around .A co worker had already asked for help but he hangin' all around and outside. A girl came out and said that there was someone at customer service and he's like what for?ummm customer service 🤔 There's no management. Everyone is just playing around 😕🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Update: After I just saw one of the young men employed there gathering carts and angrily slam two carts into the cart corral from across the parking lot and scare an older lady half to death who was walking right beside of it, I am changing my rating from 4 to 2. What a little jerk. The boys there trying to wear those goofy looking top knots, good grief, you all look absolutely ridiculous (he was one of them). You are obviously attention seekers.Original Review: We shop here weekly. We go here because they have the items we want at lower prices than other stores. They are sometimes out of things we are looking for, especially when they are on sale. Overall good store for basic grocery needs.

Very clean store. Prices are great. I love going in the morning very early so I do not run into people I know because it takes a lot of time when grocery shopping especially when you do not have a shopping list. But I will tell you when you go to Food Lion they will allow the customer to shop in peace without coming up to you every minute to ask you if you need help with anything. Their employees are warm, friendly with a smile on their faces always.

I have always shopped here.Today I shopped online for the first time. What a great way to shop. My order was filled accurately and the lady that brought my order was professional and courteous.I have a disability. This service is wonderful if you cannot get around well. Highly recommended.

This is the closest grocery store to Down East. They have a good selection and good prices. Friendly staff, clean store, with a filtered water machine out front. This is where I usually go.

The selection here is minimal. Very basic. If you want variety for meals hate to say it but Beaufort doesn't have it go ahead to Lowes food. Maybe a bit higher but huge variety to choose from. Family been here since founded and we have no good grocery stores.

Shopping on line experience was absolutely the best!Communication throughout the process was amazing, unlike other stores(Lowe’s ) where you get what they decide to give you or not. In these stressful times I could not have asked for more professional & courteous service from start to putting the groceries in my car. These folks deserve a tip even if they will not take one! This is where I usually do my grocery shopping. I used to work for them years ago so I've seen both the sales floor and the warehouse side. I will vouch that it is kept clean and organized. The staff is friendly, the prices are good, and the quality of their fresh foods is the best in town. I use my Food Lion app to save even more money with Shop & Earn and digital coupons.Something I love about Food Lion is they recycle or donate anything they can. For example, produce that cannot be sold is either donated (if it's out of date but not rotted) or put in a bin to be recycled into animal feed (if it's started to decompose). Reducing food waste is very important to me so it brought a smile to my heart to see the totes with day-old pastries loaded up to be donated.

They made an entire wedding cake for my friends wedding the day of after our baker no showed us! Everyone at the bakery was super kind and helped me out sooooooo much! Everyone in the bakery and deli deserve raises!

This Food Lion is one of the better ones. It's clean, well stocked, and the employees have always been willing to help. They have a pretty good selection, and the produce is pretty fresh. Everyone who works there seems knowledgeable and cheerful. There are a few things that could be tweaked here and there, but overall it is a good store that I don't mind venturing.
