Our experience has always been great here. This is a unique repair yard with top end lift, haul, and blocking capabilities. Communication is key. Make sure you understand the rules of using outside contractors (as one example) and your expectations should be exceeded as ours have always been. This is probably the best marina on the mid-Atlantic for those that want to work on their own boats with some assistance and expertise thrown in from in-house and local service providers. The location is second to none, directly on the ICW, just north of Beaufort inlet and the hundreds of marine suppliers, dealers, and services in the area.

I have hauled my large sailboat at this outstanding yard for thirty years. This is a true family runyard with expert supervision from Kenny and his son at every stage. Kenny Bock employs only the best workers and he treats them like family, so they thankfully stay with him seemingly forever. Everyone goes out of their way to help you in every respect, with very personable and friendly service. The quality of their work is superb and their pricing is extremely reasonable. Most importantly, Kenny Bock can give you great advice on what is best for your boat, and he will insure that it is done timely and to perfection!

We have stored our boat at the yard for 10 years, in the summer while we go home. Bock marine is a working boat yard, that means you can live aboard and do repairs or you can let Bock Marine service your needs. They have a very well stocked ships store and the prices are very reasonable. The Bock Marine yard is a family run business, the yard crew are most helpful. I give this a 10 plus. You won't find a better yard on the East Coast.

This boatyard allows people to work on their own boats; very accomodating! They have a wonderful boater's lounge and even a courtesy car. They do fantastic work and the owners, Kenny and Nancy Bock, could not be nicer.

Great service. I had made arrangements for them to take my Morgan OutIsland 416 out and place in on the hard. When I arrived they had a full crew on the spot and had me scrapped and washed off before I could get to my car. They were friendly and very helpful. You know this is a family place by the way they treat employees and customers alike. Highly recommended.

Nice clean DIY yard, just beware if they are doing a job for you get a estimate up front, in writing, we had a 2500 $ est turn into 4900Without even calling us, bad business practice.
