Don't miss this spot!!! Great lunch! So good, we did it twice. I got the crab cake sandwich and the wife got the Cobb salad with shrimp, both times lol so you know it was good! Busy place so don't be in a hurry. The first time we went the service was very slow, especially the drinks from the bar. We went in the rush of lunch hour, so as expected for a good place. Worth the wait.The next day we went right at opening, there was a line to get in, but everything was super fast. Same items we ordered for lunch, but we got dessert this time. And the apple.pie is homemade and is the BEST I have EVER had. Period! And I'm picky! Lol 3 small scoops of vanilla ice cream to pair with the pie that they serve warm...whoa! Carrot cake was the other dessert we got, the icing on this was heavy on the cream cheese, very light on the sweet. Wouldn't order that again.From the bar there was a hibiscus margarita that the wife loved, had a couple. She initially ordered what I believe was a blackberry Borboun drink, she said it was too strong, so I drank it. It was stiff and delicious.This place won't disappoint!

A regular stop on trips into Beaufort. We dropped in for lunch, and weren't the only folks with the same idea. We had a table within 10 minutes and we were greeted shortly after by a super friendly server.The pimiento cheese and apple slaw is a must have. Even at their busiest, service is quick and consistent. A lot of the same faces year after year and that means a lot. The lunch specials for the day were a red drum wrap, filled with cabbage/queso/guajillo pepper, and beans... and a ham sandwich special from the deli. Both were well balanced, extremely flavorful, and more than fairly priced.For a quick lunch special, don't skip out.

Friendly service and very reasonable prices made for a great lunch in Beaufort. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Personally, my Cobb salad was excellent. Loaded with slides roast chicken, bacon, boiled eggs, cheese, tomatoes and greens.

An absolutely excellent experience. Dined with them last fall and enjoyed sitting out front. Service was attentive not intrusive. Started with the saganaki cheese flamed in brandy. Spectacular presentation and very tasty. I had the pan seared shrimp and scallops in vermouth cream over pasta. I need to learn the recipe for this vermouth cream as it was to die for. Mom had the chicken saltimbocca and swore it was the best dish she had in a long time. Hubby throughly enjoyed new york strip. Cocktails and wine options very nice.

One of the best eateries we have visited in a long time. We visited for our 24th anniversary and were truly blessed to have Donna as our server and were also impressed with Caroline who assisted with our drinks.The food was spectacular. We had the Lamb Chops and the Mahi with Scallops. The Lamb Chops were cooked to perfection and the sauce was perfectly balanced with the lamb.One criticism we saw was that the service was slow. We disagree! The service was paced for a wonderful time of conversation and to create a moment we will never forget.Thank you Donna and Caroline!

So glad BeauGro was open for lunch today, a Monday. It was the perfect mid-day break to ease back into the work week. They gladly accommodated my request to have my selected sandwich on a croissant rather than wrap. Be prepared to finish your sandwich with a fork because these things come loaded! The wine menu features a great selection which I can't wait to adventure around at our next visit! My only complaint is I clearly got the bottom of the sweet potato chips as they were in small pieces and over seasoned. Save room for dessert!

Very cute and quaint spot in Beaufort. The Beaufort Grocery has a versatile lunch menu with soups, sandwiches and wraps that hit the spot. I personally enjoyed the Queen’s Club with a little bit of extra basil mayo that sat right on a beautiful day filled with water activities. Highly recommend checking them out, service is great.

Went for lunch with about 20 people. Server handled our large party well. Small dining room, so probably not the best place for a large party. Also noise level high due to intimate setting. The brisket wrap was pretty good, but I was expecting the brisket to be moist and tender, but it was sliced. I got the pepper jelly on the side, but I had to use it for flavor.

Food was excellent. Especially the spinach dip. However, the service was unreasonably slow. Once we finally ordered (#1 sandwich and brisket wrap) it took about 45 minutes for the food to make it to our table. They were busy, most of the take were taken. We were seated a little after 1pm. In total we spent about an hour and a half on lunch.

Cute little place in historic Beaufort. The crab dip is the best we've had (and we eat crab dip at every restaurant on the North Carolina coast that carries it), and the bloody Marys had just the right amount of acid and heat. Everything was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Just know that there is very little parking in the area!

We were first timers to BeauGro. Lunch was delightful and delicious. Seems to be popular so allow plenty of time. Be patient and enjoy. The sweet tea with lemon was perfect. There were four of us. With tax and tip, it was around $95. We had potato soup, flounder, and two other sandwiches.

Excellent ambience and entrees that are beautifully prepared.One bone that I have to pick is that bread does not come with the $20 - $40 dishes. If you want a "bread service", it is a $5 charge. I can afford that (ordered it and paid it) but I believe that it is petty to have it as an extra.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at Beaufort Grocery and we can not rave about it enough! Wendy and Laurel were FANTASTIC to work with. They made our planning process easy and fun! Our guests were so excited about BG being part of the weekend. The atmosphere inside the house (next to the restaurant) was perfect and lovely! Beautifully decorated and very intimate. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD - so good! We had chicken and potatoes and they were amazing!! I recommend Beaufort Grocery for any event or dinner with family and friends. Our favorite restaurant in Beaufort! 11/10 recommend

A lively restaurant frequented by the locals. Today's fresh catch was mahi-mahi which I had on a salad. It was delicious! All fresh ingredients and the mahi-mahi was perfectly cooked. I would definitely go back. Being popular it is rather noisy inside and today was raining so we couldn't sit outside. They do have a lovely patio in the back and tables in the front. Next time we can go on a sunny day! Donna was was our waitress And she was friendly helpful and efficient!

7.25.2021 - If you are in the area and looking for a wonderful fine dining experience then look no further than the Beaufort Grocery. I have been coming to Emerald Isle, NC and been visiting the Beaufort Grocery every year for the last 25 years. Our family ALWAYS visits the Beaufort Grocery and it is fantastic. The specials are always fresh and sourced from local ingredients. If you don't like the specials the regulars are always fantastic. It just so happens that this year we had the opportunity to sit out back on the back patio. Didn't even know it was a thing. Go to the Beaufort Grocery. You'll be wanting to come back... for more!

It's a tradition for my sister-in-law and me to come here when I am in town. I usually come for lunch and get the Caesar salad, topped with crab cakes and a side of shrimp salad. They also have a nice wine selection to pair with your meal. It's a big meal, but it is so delicious. The staff is always friendly. Plus they have huge desserts as well so you will definitely not leave hungry.

I've dined here on several occasions and have been impressed each time. I've had Janelle, Courtney, and Resa as my servers in the past - all of which are amazing. They have been very attentive and friendly.Time and time again we take out of town guests here because, well...why not :) The best was when we took my boyfriend's parents here and they commented that the steamed mussels they had were better than anything they have ever had in the past (including those they had in Belgium and bragged about forever). Girls night, birthdays, date night, visitors, brunch - you name it, Beaufort Grocery is the place to go. The whole flounder, the filet mignon, saganaki, mussels, the Uncle Claude (brunch), the bumpy cake, and the carrot cake are just a few of my favorites. I highly recommend!

Great food, service and prices!! We ate here every day we were in Beaufort, best place to eat in town. Loved eating on the patio out back, and that we could get take out if they were busy. Best place for brunch, especially loved the Ben and Flo eggs Benedict. Fine dining with large portions.

This place is adorable and so good! I’m telling you, this is the best chicken salad I’ve ever had and they were so sweet and accommodating with our pup! The hostess even brought us “water for the baby” 😌 pictured is the No 6 Apple Granny with sweet potato chips (which are dusted in cinnamon sugar... YUM) and the No 2 Fuhgeddaboudit with pasta salad. 10/10

Amazing! Went to dinner with my wife for our anniversary dinner and the food and service was top notch. Highly recommended!
