Come in before closing I ask you close at 5pm or 6pm? They said 5pm but you got time. Looking at chain saws ask a younger gentleman to come over and help. He helps. I have chainsaw in hand talking to him about the oil gas ratio of which he is unsure and a lady comes around the corner and says I hate to tell you this but we cant sell you that chain saw. Thinking huh what do you mean you cant sell it. Can't buy a chainsaw late today because no one was there to "authorize it." And your the only authorized dealer.. no Bueno for me. "You can come back tomorrow." No thank you with that kind of customer service I'll head to New bern. Wouldn't buy here if it was the last one on Earth at the moment. Bad first impression after having recently moved here. Too bad the Pamlico Ace can't sell em had to get it from Down East Ace in New bern. Stihl rep should take note. In contact with them about my experience. Sounds like you need more authority/authorization if you are gonna be the only dealer in town. Excellent service at Ace. Got a Stihl chain saw, blower, ear protection, case, extra chain, and oil. They rocked it!!! Avoid, do yourself a favor and head to Down East Ace. Well worth the drive. Back to top

The service guys in the back are most friendly and helpful. It is obvious that they take pride in the work that they do. If you do not get what you expect, then they WELCOME you back until you do. Everyone does their best to provide and maintain a sincere CUSTOMER FIRST attitude but for one of the cashiers out front. She is often the first and last employee you meet at the store so her impression is most important. Unfortunately, she often appears unhappy and "put out" by the customer. Sometimes I think that their prices are a bit on the high side, but they sell quality products and they back those products with quality service or your money back in many instances.

The service guys in the back are great and care about taking care of people. The sales clerks up front are absolutely horrible. Extremely rude and I get the impression that I am bothering them by purchasing items. If the white haired guy is there 9 times out of 10 I will turn around and shop somewhere else due to not wanting to deal with his poor attitude. Owner is great , knowledable and friendly.

I think everyone that waits me n customers should know prices. For instance,we ask how much the zero turn mowers were and they said we would have to wait until who ever got back bc no one else knew. Excuse me? What did you just say? Nevermind my in laws already waited.. in line at the bank for the money. We will go somewhere else to purchase one. I got that feeling that they were not expecting to make that sell,so they didn't!

Asked for an estimate on mulch 2 weeks ago, got an automated response stating an employee would get back to me within 24 hours. Wish I was in a business that could afford to lose $1000 + in business.That one job was going to lead to more, now someone not local is getting the business.wish google would let me give you a zero

Treated me with immense lack of respect solely because I was a minor, asked me who was paying for what I was purchasing in a very condescending way, insinuating I didn’t have enough money. I’m working for a start up company that one of my relatives own. I will not come back, nor recommend to anyone.

Great place for all your lawn gardening needs from amatures to farmers purchased a stihl weed eater was a little confused on there process of registering and being shown how it operates but I guess if you have never owned a stihl or weed eater some explaining is needed all in all 5 stars ...manager or owner not sure hopped on the employees for lounging a little making sure all the customers were taking care of in a timely fashion 2 thumbs up
