Staff is preoccupied with socializing rather than servicing customers or maintaining the store. Restock cart is always in the middle of the aisles so you have to get them to move the cart so that you can get by.However, the store is clean and well stocked.

Came to Food Lion on Saturday Nov 5th. After shopping produce and first two aisles notice there was only 2 cashiers. Lines were backed up terrible. When we got ready to check out it was worse. One cashiers needed a break so he was told to cut his light and they moved his customers putting the guy next in line back at the back. This whole time there was two associates at the service desk who finally opened registers. I was a CSM at Foodlion for years. This is ridiculous and sadly not the first time I have seen this at this store. If you are that short handed train every manager, every stock man to run a register. Poor management

Mrs. Marcie in the deli was very nice. I picked up a few things and needed one more bag. I asked if she could make one more. To my surprise, she not only made it, but was very nice to me. Not the customer service I've received in the Raleigh branch. It was nice getting help without the attitude I've received at other branches. The store here had lots of things stocked, and the prices were lower or not as high as other food lion stores I have come across.I'm glad Mrs. Marcie has good customer service and helped me out. I would recommend this store.

I went Food Lion by Wesleyan an employee Vanessa she is such a sweetheart. Apollo decided he wanted to be an acrobat today! First he put one leg between the handle of the cart then he stretched himself to the register with his feet barely in the cart, this woman just rocked him back and forth then held him while I paid. Mind you he does this every time we go shopping and Vanessa and a few others there always make my experience easier this just warmed my heart today a complete stranger (probably a grandma) to step in ❤️

I came to shop just for a few groceries, broke my ankle and was looking for the electric chair. Front end employee said if there isn't any nothing she can do. She didn't bother at all. No assistance at all. Just happened to see one in the parking lot after I was turned away. Obviously not going to spend $$ at a place that didn't show concern

If the employees weren’t the best ever and outweighed the lack of mainly children’s medicine in the health aisle I’d give them a star less but you can’t ever lose with 5 star employees. We moved here in July from 4 hours away, live in the neighborhood right behind in walking distance so we frequent on a daily basis and the relationship I’ve gained with a few of the young, male, night shift employees is unmatched. They always are patient and kind with not only my children but with me, as well. I could be at my worst, mentally physically and emotionally and hopped straight out of bed with unmatched shoes, no bra and in straight manic mode and in desperation for children’s Tylenol for my childs freak accident at 9:58 right before closing time and I’m still greeted with kindness, hospitality, laughter, friendliness, without judgement and i always get a joke or some funny moment that keeps me going most days. They keep their store well stocked (despite medicine) and their bakery (and cakes/cupcakes) could improve a bit but you can’t always win. Thanks Food Lion 🙏👏🏻🛒🛍️

First time shipping here even though it's a faster ride though a little further.This store was absolutely immaculate. Well stocked. No empty shelves or meat cases.I was very impressed.I also liked the layout as it reminded me of grocery shopping in the good old days...the produce was actually located in the back right hand corner of the store (where it's supposed to be)! Not immediately as you enter.My only thing I wasn't happy about was the amount of handicapped and reserved parking spots..I had to park like 6 spots away, which bothered me since it was dark outside and the parking lot wasn't brightly lit, maybe bc it was Sunday night and the anchor stores were already closed.

0 stars. This store is terribly managed and employs people who are clearly biased toward poverty stricken people; especially Black people. It would appear as if the managers do not schedule well as there is never enough help, specifically at the cash registers, to assist customers. White cashiers will stand still until a line, that is backed up all the way through the aisle, until a white person gets into the line before they open another register. This is a routine experience at this store and while it is very humiliating its not the worst experience that I have had and or observed. It deserves to be shut down, but unfortunately the people of the local community will suffer. I won't even speak to the price gauging that occurs... TERRIBLE STORE. But I would suspect that this type of business is encouraged at the corporate level.

Love it, but they refuse to stock Oikos Triple Zero in three different flavors that people who can't eat fruit really like; chocolate, coffee, salted caramel. We are forced to drive to the next town and endure the nightmare of Walmart shopping to get these three flavors. My husband and I have asked repeatedly. It's the only yogurt I can eat. Please pass this on to FL.
