Two wonderful ladies at the register welcomed us to Cindy's kitchen inside Kevin's gas station. They run the kitchen which is now working 24/7 to keep up. Small and includes bakery items, homemade sandwiches, frozen items like homemade lasagna, hot breakfast sandwiches, salads, fruit. Fun to see all the homemade bakery items! Glad we stopped!

We ALWAYS stop here on our way to the Outer Banks! Best chicken salad sandwich, breakfast sandwiches, and you can't forget the cheese stars. All the food is great. The porkchop sandwiches are good with mustard and mayo.Dietary restrictions: They list all the ingredients to the food on the containers they come in, so it's safe if you have allergies. It's very considerate.

You can almost miss this place, in a small gas station. Lemonade was awesome! Breakfast biscuit sandwiches were good. I did see some fresh salads in the refrigerator cases. I tried some other things, probably preference. Staff friendly & helpful. Lots of desserts to choose from - will have to try some on next visit.

Stopped by for breakfast and enjoyed everything we ate! Absolutely delicious! We ate sausage biscuits, link sausage sandwich, lemon pound cake, vanilla cream cheese cake and took home tamales for lunch! Service and food exceeded our expectations! Stop if you get a chance! We will definitely be back!!!

This is actually a gas station that sales some of the most delicious baked goods by a resident "Cindy". I'm from Indiana and I make it a point to stop and load up 😊. While there, I see more cakes, pies and cookies being sold than gas. I apologize for the pic. Couldn't stop the fam from sampling after arriving home. 😋

This is the perfect small town stop. All you see when you walk in is all the delicious homemade food. Everyone is friendly and it's so nice to hear the neighborly conversations going on. You gotta stop in!

Wish i could give 10 stars! All of the goodies are fantastic. I've tried like 10+ items and have no complaints. It did take me a while to figure out that they are located in Kevin's convenience store. The actual kitchen is next door but not open to the public. One addition to the spectacular goodies, the orange juice. You owe it to yourself to give it a try!

Wow! I never leave reviews but we were seriously SO impressed with the bakery items, sandwiches, hot food, and desserts my family selected and ate. Looks like a normal gas station but inside there's SO many homemade options. So so good!!!!

Absolutely amazing and is not expensive at all. The coffee and country fried steak biscuit was amazing. They do have truck parking but it’s only a few spots (please truckers don’t make a mess of the area by throwing trash from your trailers and cab onto the floor).

I've been going to Kevin's since I was a little boy. My son just had his 10th birthday and wanted Cindy's biscuits for breakfast! Now that I own my own small business, I can think of all the ups and downs this business has endured with all the change in the county the last 20 years. We support local and will keep supporting local! Thanks for a great home felt staple in our county!!

We just stopped in for a snack, we were greeted by a very knowledgeable clerk. She showed us all of their desserts, as well as the take and bake dinners. This gas station store is a culinary delight.

This is by far the best food that you will ever buy in a gas station. Excellent baked goods, but I also appreciated the pimento cheese sandwich and my son his pizza egg roll. Desserts are top notch. And you can buy gas.

Stop by for homemade goodies! 12 layer chocolate cake available by the slice or by the cake. Lemon bars, muffins, scones, and pies sold by the slice. Homemade Sandwiches and sides are also available to fill your cooler for the beach.

Great place to stop on the way down to OBX! Big selection of homemade treats to pick from. They have a famous 12 layer cake which is always fun to get for the family. A full cake is quite expensive at $45. Also the cake we got was a little bit dry - not sure how long they are sitting out there for, it would be helpful for them to have dates to pick a fresh one. Still good though! Also staff was friendly.

Kevin’s is a gas station, convenience store, deli, and bakery all in one. It’s on stop for all of the essentials before full grocery shopping when you get to the beach.

Judging by the number of 12 layer chocolate frosted cakes, everyone must love them. I, however, do not care for chocolate. But the yellow cake with caramel frosting is worth making a special trip just to enjoy this cake. The caramel frosting is so smooth and so delicious! There is always a wonderful variety of baked sweets to choose from. Stop in! You will not be disappointed!

I always love stopping at Kevin's (next door) and they have a large selection of food made at Cindy's Kitchen ... everything from breakfast biscuits (go early because they sell out fast), warm lunches, cold salads, pasta salads, wraps and sandwiches. Of course they have desserts as well. Love the friendly staff!!!

They have the best 12 layer chocolate Cake! You can buy a whole cake, 1/2 cake or a slice. They have all kinds of home made desserts and southern comfort foods. A quick pick- up bite ready to go while you fill up on gas. Breakfast sandwichs made fresh each morning. No frozen ingredients. Just like raiding grandma's fridge.

Unfortunately did not enjoy the 12 layer cake, just too much frosting to cake.They have alot of other items and breskfast sandwiches ate a big hit.

It’s good if called a kitchen. It’s not a cafe. Lots of plastic wrapped sandwiches and muffins and more. I had the chicken cheese mushroom hot sub sandwich, which was good. I tasted it for 3 hours tho😕

When I found out that Cindy actually sold her baked goods and meals at a Citgo Convenience Store, I was a little reticent about checking this place out, but all of the positive reviews I was reading on Facebook, as well as the pictures of various foods she was making, was too hard to resist. We had recently moved to Moyock, NC, therefore, we were in search of local favorites, and this place was the top of the list for good eats.My wife and I pulled up at Citgo and entered the store and holy chocolate cake...I felt like a kid in a candy store! The shelves were filled with cakes (by the slice, half of a cake or whole), muffins, cupcakes, brownies, scones, cookies, breakfast sandwiches, etc. and the refrigerator was filled with sandwiches, salads and casseroles. Everything I've had there has been amazing! I am more than happy to drive 20 mins for a 12 layer chocolate cake! Everything Cindy and her Mom make is homemade and delicious! I've tasted several of her baked goods and sandwiches (chicken salad, tuna salad...even PB & J) and I've like everything! I've introduced Cindy's to several other people and they've thanked me for turning them onto this gem!They always say "Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover" and this local diamond in the rough, definitely falls into this category. My car automatically turns into this place every time I'm in the area (fortunately for my waist, I only go about once every couple of months...but when I go, I don't come home with less than 6 or so various items....and always a slice or HALF of the 12 Layer Chocolate Cake!) This is my Mom's favorite, as well and when Mom is happy, everyone is happy!
