My family loves this thrift store they have a really eclectic variety of clothes, furniture, books, toys and much much more. The staff is so friendly and we love seeing the dogs when they come and great us. Definitely recommend everyone stop in on your way to or from the obx!

Brothers keeper is in my opinion hands down the best consignment shop within a close distance to me. I just purchased a huge 5ft by 5ft kitchen table with 6 chairs , a very nice huge hutch , a couch and a coffee table . The owners went above and beyond to help us load our truck and even lent us tie downs and moving blankets ! Great people and in my opinion great prices ! I would recommend this place to everyone i know ! Thank you all so much !

I dont live in this state, but I seen the segment on Coast Live. I love the story behind the store. Also, congratulations on the owner being somber for 9 years. I don't know him, but that's a big accomplishment! It was amazing he shared this with everyone too. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Good condition but Too pricey. By the way I didn't find anything for myself. Not my style. Not dress nor kitchen staff nor furniture. Smells also. Somebody will like it I'm sure.

I bought a beautiful wicker set and A wicker bar chair. It was priced affordable. All the furniture was priced very fare, unlike other thrift stores I've visited

We LOVE this store. My hubby knows that this place always puts a smile on my face. I have found that one piece of china I needed to complete sets. We have bought a few couches. My kids furnished and set up their kitchens for their first homes from here. I cannot say enough good stuff about Brothers Keeper. Very budget friendly and super nice, caring, awesome owners/staff.

A fantastic place to find great treasures with a wonderful staff that is pleasant and gives back to the locals by providing wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility tools to borrow.

This thrift store has a bit of Everything. If you're looking for kitchen ware, clothing, games, puzzles, workout equipment, jewelry, purses or furniture, this is an awesome place to get good quality items for an excellent price.

Incredibly scummy shop. Most of the items they receive are donated so they receive them for free. They then charge outrageous prices under the guise of helping the community. Avoid this place at all costs.Edit: Love how the owner can only use the same few examples of their charity. Perhaps instead of debating you could share your yearly profits? But that wont happen.

Very nice people who work here. Always friendly and helpful. Very nice store with lots to offer at decent prices. Definitely a must stop if you are not looking to spend a lot but still want quality items. I was able to furnish my new place and not go over my budget just from shopping here. Can't wait to see what I will find next in this store.

I always find something fun or useful from Brother's Keeper. I've gotten a bedframe, many articles of clothing, dolls, shoes, jewellery, and wall decorations from here. Always a delight to stop by and see Jace or Pearl, the two precious dogs who sometimes are there to greet customers.

Please save your self from all the trouble they hound u the whole time u are in the store accuse u of stealing when you've purchased 40 dollars in stuff owner not owners is very disrespectful. Oh they are also liars 2of 3 had there payment one lady did not. They refused to hold it for 20 min while she ran to get her card she left at home we were going back and fourth to the cartoon help the lady come up with the .oney cause they were impatient...for the love of God its a thirft store the stuff I'd given to them

Overall, they have a wide & eclectic selection. My huge disappointment was in their fussing at my 8 year old daughter for being quiet & minding her own business amongst the silly toys section. That's right. She was being both quiet and respectful by herself. They told her she could not be there by herself...I was just around the corner. I hadn't been there 5 minutes. Not only did they fuss at her for no reason, they also did not bother to walk her back to me. So they told her she couldn't be alone, & then sent her off alone & without offering me an explanation of their "rules". So I quickly left without making any purchases. I feel the experience was unjust & undeserved. I might consider changing my rating with an apology over how they poorly handled a situation they created.***UPDATE...So, the owner contacted me on the Facebook page and proceeded to prove having an inept ability to provide premier customer service, even in a dissatisfying experience. You can visit the page & read the comments personally if you wish. I was highly disappointed in the outcome, but I changed my rating UP to a 4 star because the quality of their products shines through anyway-and it is obvious that a great amount care goes into the establishment, even if not into customer service.

I was in the moyack store, was very pleased with the conversation with the owner, she was very sweet. The store has a variety of items for sale, very clean, some prices were alittle high but there were sales and I will be back for sure thank you for a great experience

Decided to stop in on a whim while on vacation near by. What a lovely and clean store ! Everything is so well organized and priced affordable. I got a few treasures to take home with me. Staff is very friendly :)

This place is amazing! Staff is so friendly and they have such a huge variety of very well kept items. I personally do not have facebook pr social media so i cant rave on that so ill do it here :) i also do have a question on if/when yall will open back up and if yall are still taking donations at both locations. I have a bunch of clothes and blankets to hand over and i need to go furniturw shopping :) #supportyourlocals

My husband showed up today to drop off donations. That was it. It was 4:54, they closed at 5. It would have taken him 5 minutes to unload, and put them wherever she wanted them. I understand, you're tired, you want to go home. She locked the door in his face. So we'll take our donations somewhere else.

Miss Bonnie and her son were absolutely wonderful we showed up at 4:30 which made shopping extremely fast she was very accommodating helping me find things in a hurry I talked to her about donating some things she said she would rather buy them from me cuz I wondered it donated so we could do some trading but she would rather just buy the things from me so I'm going to get some things together and give her a call let her come by and pick out what she wants and either buy it from me or give me a store credit for it but just so that you know that store was extremely neat and organized all the clothing was organized by size and by color the shoes organized by size and style the furniture clean just stood there were no stains it was a wonderful wonderful store props to Miss Bonnie and her family I can't wait to visit their second store to see if it's just as wonderful as their main store sincerely Lisa coppedge

Just found a Tupperware cake carrier like my Nana's and Clark's heels both for under $20! I have never bought thrift store shoes, but Clark's?! The people were super friendly too!

Well organized, neat and clean. Didn't smell musty. Friendly staff. Sales benefited local charities like animal shelter. Will shop here again.
