Loved this shop. Employees very friendly. Sale items on porch. Very fully stocked with most everything you would expect from a secluded island gift shop. Toys for kiddos. Clothing for an array of sizes. Gift wears galore. Beauty items, too. One suggestion is to identify the locally made items as such.

We were here on the day they had the free beer and wine tasting! So awesome! And they had some corn bread to share (bake with Texas Pete!) so good! Well this is an amazing place to check out. The staff are amazing people!

Our annual trip to BHI always includes a stop at Turtle Central. We love spending our money in a way that also benefits the environment and especially the turtles. Also, we always find great souvenirs and gifts for all of us. My husband, my 16 year old stepson, my 9 year old daughter and I always find wonderful treasures and have for years. I can't think of another store where we can find something perfect for each of our diverse group!!

I would give a 0 if I could. Tried to go into the store last week with my child so he could buy a souvenir. The store was completely empty. We were stopped by an employee and asked if he was over 12. He is 7. We were told kids under 12 were only permitted inside during a specific one hour block a day. As we turned to leave the clerk said wait, come back today at x o'clock to shop. I informed her we wouldn't be back as I wouldn't give them a cent of my money. Parents of small children beware, this place discriminates against kids under 12.

It's not a large shop, but they have a nice selection of high quality souvenirs. Best place to get a T shirt on island

Nice little quaint shop, not much has changed because of Covid, except they have the Conservatory roped off and closed which really stinks.

This place just makes my heart happy. So many beautiful items . I’m turtle OBSESSED so this place definitely helps feed my obsession for all things turtle. I greatly appreciate all they do !

probably my favorite store on bald head. I've gotten some of my favorite clothes from there, and i love that it supports the sea turtles.
