We rented 7 bikes for a week. It was an easy process, and the bikes were good quality! Bike 30 does squeak~ forgot to mention that. I recommend this place, and their gift shop has great stuff.

I showed up for a week on Bald Head and realized my Specialized had a flat. Riverside ordered a new tube after figuring out that spare I had was defective. They don’t carry or rent out my style bike, but tackled the job with ease (they easily could have just not repaired it). And wow - so reasonable. I was shocked it was only $22 for a new tube and all the messing with the defective one. Truly a class act outfit that goes above and beyond - Hunter is fabulous!!

Riverside is our favorite store on the island!! There is always a great variety of merchandise and the staff is great! Their "Where's Tippy?" summertime scavenger hunt-type game is always fun for the kids (and adults too!) Love Riverside!

Great prices for bike rentals and Hunter went above and beyond to point out all the things to do and places to stop while touring BHI. He even pointed out where the steepest hills on the island are. I will definitely be renting bikes here again on my next trip to the island.

Rented bikes here for the day and it was a great experience. The guy working (I wish I remembered his name) was so nice and helpful. He gave us a full rundown of the island and even mapped out what ferry’s to take back. Would definitely rent from here again!

My family and I visited BHI and rented bikes to travel around the island. Riverside Adventure Co. is extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived around 20 minutes before our check-in time and they already had our bikes ready to go. While getting situated, the staff repeatedly made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our trip! I instantly felt comfortable when the staff member thanked me for coming in and stated, "Its great to see you!"The bike equipment mechanically worked great and enjoyed our trip.

Had a fantastic experience with Milo! Milo was extremely patient making sure my friends and I had the proper sized bikes and equipment that we needed. I was skeptical at first seeing the island by bike, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll definitely do this again the next time I visit.

This is the neatest little shop on the island! Every time my family is on vacation we stop by at least two times! The staff is greatly hospitable and the owner is extremely nice and helpful. This place makes Bald Head Island seem even more like home than it already does!

Super friendly staff!!! Had bikes and helmets for all ages including ones with baskets and baby carriers. They worked well with my kids to find the right size for our rental. Only $10 for two hours which was enough time for us to bike around the whole island.

We rented bikes and the manager adjusted the handle bars so my sons could fit correctly. I appreciated the extra effort. They also made it easy to drop the bikes back off.
