My recent trip to Piggly Wiggly was made even more pleasant by the exceptional service I received from one of their cashiers, Fallon. From the moment I approached her lane, she was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Her demeanor felt genuine and warm, instantly putting me at ease.Throughout the checkout process, Fallon demonstrated remarkable efficiency and accuracy. She scanned my items quickly and carefully, ensuring everything was accounted for. Even with a busy line, she maintained her composure and remained patient with each customer.What truly set Fallon apart was her genuine kindness. She engaged in friendly conversation, inquiring about my day and sharing a warm smile. Its was a step back into time for us. Being for California we have always heard about this store so when we moved back to north Carolina it was a no brainer we had to visit. To be honest this store is amazing especially the meat bundles. They have huge steaks and ribs plus much MUCH more.

Piggly Wiggly is a good little country store tucked away in a small little town. We stopped by to check out what a Piggly Wiggly was and honestly, not a walmart by any level, way fewer selections, but they had the majority of what we needed. My best part is the hot bar.

I walked into my local piggly wiggly today and left in tears. I walked in carring an old laundry detergent bottle full of coins. My intention was to use the coin star but it was out of order so I turned around and walked out. As I am exited the store I over hear an employee scream out that I was stealing laundry detergent. I immediately walked back in and shook my bottle to let everyone hear there was change in my bottle and to let everyone know I wasn't stealing. Mind you it's lunch time and there are lines of people checking out. A lady shook her hand at me and basically wouldn't acknowledge me. I was so embarrassed and walked out went home to my husband crying because the situation was so embarrassing. We went back to speak to the store manager but he acted as though I made the whole thing up. A business should never treat their customers in such a way. I may not ever step foot back into a piggly wiggly if this is how you treat your customers.

Salad bar leaves me and family sick, multiple drinks are discolored/sold after expired/no expiration date. Multiple vegetables rotted/discolored on vegetable racks. Drink machines need restoration. Sorta disappointed that the store I was raised going to has fallen to this level. Needs better maintenance. I have a photo of my last purchase. I bought a Kiwi/Strawberry Snapple "my favorite drink." And I found it looked very dark. The one on the left was bought from Piggly Wiggly while the one on the right was bought from Dollar General (Sims NC).

A small market yet adequately addressed. The staff was attentive & helpful. The products were clean, organized & plentiful. Management required that if you took a cart with groceries to your vehicle that an employee push it there & assist in unloading. I highly recommend this small, rural grocery.

Great staff and wonderful selections from the butcher. Don't see it....ask for it! From a whole hog to just the ears😁. I just love the feel of the community grocery store. They have a great selection of NC BBQ sauces and rubs as well. Fresh veggies, old fashioned sausage, charcoal and syrup. The makings of a wonderful evening and a great meal are all in one stop! Leftover for breakfast or pancakes with sausage, the cooking is up to you.

I've shopped here for years and I enjoyed it much more than any other grocery store. Now working here, I honestly think my coworkers are the best. All of the staff is super friendly and easy to get along with. If you haven't been here yet, it's worth it to come check us out!

One of the few still around. Definitely a neighborhood meeting spot. Lots of folks standing around chatting, which was kind of endearing. Was on the way to friend's house so stopped in to grab some drinks. Small store, but they had a decent selection. Staff were pretty nice and customers were more than happy to help me find what I needed.

I have been shopping at the Piggly Wiggly for the last five years. Customer service has been great! I had to shop in Wilson for a lot of items that Piggly didn't carry in the past... but Piggly is expanding, making my life easier!

After moving to Bailey almost 4 years ago, I was excited to start shopping at the Pig. I'm glad that there is still a small town feel and love the workers here. The meats are our favorite and we'd rather get our meat from here than other larger stores.

The store is superbly clean and the staff is extremely helpful and nice. I can truly say Southern Hospitality at its best! The isles are properly labeled which makes it extremely easy to find the item(s) you are looking for. I look forward to visiting this Piggly Wiggly in Bailey, North Carolina again.

This store shows it's age and makes me feel like I stepped back in time. There isn't a large selection but they have everything I need. The cashier's are friendly but I feel like things cost more here. It's locally owned and operated so it's worth the little extra to support a small business.

The service is speedy and super-friendly, while the prices are a bit high, compared to Wal-Mart and Aldi. My wife and I shop at "the Pig" regularly but when we do our monthly grocery shopping, we have to go elsewhere to save money. Wish the prices were more competitive so we could shop there more often and support our town's economy even more.

Its a place I like to shop for quality meats.Last visit didnt seem to be as it was before Covid.Not sure if that has anything to do with it or the day I visited but I'll go again to see if its the same.Prices was a little higher than usual.

If you read the sales paper that comes out on Wednesday you can definitely get some good deals and you can't beat the fact that if you need something it's right down the street I don't have to drive to Wilson or Zebulon to get it. The owner Lisa the other day brought our dog home because he followed us to the store. If this is not a HomeTown advantage I don't know what it is.

Bailey pig has the most helpful employees of any store I believe I have every been in. Meat dept is top of the line anything you need for your family's meals they're got it.
