Plenty of parking area. Store near by to walk to, and restaurants. Excellent place to ease your boat into the water. Places to park your vehicle and trailer under some shade trees. Badin has fishing tournaments several times a year. Get in the action, and catch the largest bass. You can fly drones. Pet friendly keep on leash.5 stars for great atmosphere. 5 stars for photographers. 5 stars for fishing. 5 stars for parking. 5 stars for views.

Beautiful view of an amazing looking lake. I just wish I had some time to swim. Though I did notice a lot of fishing hooks laying about on the peir, which was disappointing

I wasn't here at the boat ramp. I was at the public swimming area up a click from it. Anyway, I go here almost daily for a swim before work and some days after. (I need the exercise). It hasn't been crowded at all. Most mornings I'm the only one here. I do suggest wearing some sort of water shoes. The rocks are sharp and slippery. Still, I find it peaceful during the week. I've not gone on a weekend.

Easy to get in and out of except there is not enough room to launch and load boats during crowded times. There was a fishing tournament going on the day we were there. Most of the parking spaces were taken up. All and all we had a good time as a family.

Very easy access with two boat ramps, big enough to back two trailers at a time. Its well kept and the pier spacious enough to tie off 5 boats at a time. (Guessing) Only down side is that they have port a johns. (Its better than a bush) There is a gas station just down the road from it in case you need ice. All in all, great.

It's a decent place to launch your boat. If you go on the weekend make sure to get there early as possible or you will fight to find parking if you don't.Only bad part is too many of the "Professional Bass fishermen 😂" Can't back up their boats and take up the whole ramp. You could easily unload 2 boats at a time

Nice place to spend the day in the lake. I would give it a 5 star except that the water looked really muddy.Another reason I gave it a three is because of the docking situation for those who are new to boating. The dock is not directly adjacent to the ramp. So if you're alone, you have to find some way to tie your boat down, while you park your trailer.

There's plenty of room for kayaks and boats to put in along with jet skis however the slope pulling your boat out of the water is steep and not too easy on the motor pulling it out... The grounds weren't kept up, trash was everywhere around the trash cans.

Overall it's nice, but the police boats literally stalk you. I understand safety but never have seen it this bad compared to other lakes.

Had too many foreigners that didn't understand the American way or rules. This is America we love our children. We don't let him swim on the boat ramp

Lots of boats in & out. But very quiet otherwise. No luck catching anything bigger than some 2 inch brim off dock

It was a very good experience. Even with a lot of people there I had no issues loading or unloading the boat. Plenty of parking also.

Pleanty of parking, enough room to launch 2 at once, 2 docks with room for a few boats, beautiful lake, about a 50min drive from Pineville,NC.

Great place to have a good time. There are no crazy rules or regulations. Just go out and enjoy yourself.

Would be nice if they upgraded to a dock, even on one side.it can get a bit messy there if windy so maybe reason there is not one.
