I used to work for this Food Lion. It's amazing how little has changed in 20 years, nice produce section, the candy aisle has moved, that's about all. If you need groceries, this is the place to go.

I don’t usually do this, but it felt wrong to keep silent. I just checked out at this location. While I was at the self checkout, a slim Caucasian lady with brunette hair did not acknowledge me while I was checking out and when I needed assistance. She fixed the error at the machine, but she did not speak to me. She didn’t even speak when I spoke to her, but she immediately spoke to two other Caucasian customers that needed assistance. That’s not all, an African American guy was moving past me when a male Caucasian coworker said something to him. I couldn’t hear what was said, but the African American guy told him to stop. The other guy laughed and kept repeating what the guy had said and I found it to be rude. If I can help it, I will not be returning. The entire experience rubbed me the wrong way and left me feeling uneasy. I was not happy with my experience tonight.

The older black lady always has an attitude, trying to go off on the customer for something she rang up wrong...😡🤬 And always telling you to go to another register andddd she just standing there doing NOTHING!!😡🤬 IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO YOUR JOB, QUIT!!! 😡 A lot of customers have said the same thing about her!!

Always clean well stocked and full of helpful employees love the Food Lion in my hometown but with Food Lion it's consistent across the board wherever you go! Highly recommend them

My experience with Food Lion of Ayden has been excellent! The cashiers & floor staff are very friendly and accomodating. The Manager Mr. Suggs, is very helpful and cares about supporting the surrounding community.

I love Food Lion and let me tell you why. They are the most giving grocery store. They beat Walmart hands down when it comes to giving to the food banks. I help out at the food bank sometimes, and they are the best.Love you guys!

Stop to pick up some fill in food items. Good prices on the meat 🍖🥓. A little slow a cash register. No express lanes open. Not a good idea. Customers with 12 or less items. Waiting in line with customers who have a shopping cart 🛒 full. I recommend this store 🏬

Ayden food lion is one of the worst I been too. Even today I went in and three works where standing by the office talking and laughing while people stood in only two open lanes. Place gets worst and worst by the month. Not going to stop using food lion I will just go to winterville. A lot better place to shop. Ayden need to just shut down.

The staff in this store are very kind, clean, and helpful. The produce department is really well stocked with lots of fresh foods. We always shop here, and we're pleased with the selection and the quick refurbishment of all items.

I like this Food Lion they are clean and well stocked.The employees are always helpful,and when I ask them where something is they don't just point or tell me an aisle number,they actually take the time to walk with me to show me where the item is.These are the kind of small things that make a difference! They also are always friendly an ask how you are doing,they should be commended on a job well done!

Food Lion always has what I need and the price is always right. My family loves to shop here because everyone from the cashiers to the managers are all friendly, caring and professional. I went in for a water exchange and ended up with $30 worth of grocery and a tired toddler lol.

The store itself is fine. The cashiers can be a little rude sometimes, and the managers kinda suck depending on what day you catch them (especially Tiffany... she can be very rude to her cashiers from what I've heard). Frozen looks terrible some days, missing products or stuff in the wrong places. Dairy looks amazing though, except when milk and eggs aren't filled up and I can't buy what I need. But I always know where things are and that the young man working it will always help me and be extremely kind, although a little rushed sometimes. But I always appreciate it when he chats with me, same with Mrs Rose and Mr Johnathan. Highly recommend this store for the great people alone

Only reason I have to give Foodlion a 4 star review, is solely because they seem to have issues keeping things in stock. I realize that things can be hard to get. However, most items that are short stocked are Not items that people Hoard from the Pandemic. Otherwise, the Foodlion stores that I use (3 different stores around my area), have been clean, mostly well stocked, professionally managed. The members of the staff have always been extremely helpful and professional. One couldn't have a better experience with the services they offer, the Insta-Cart option for Foodlion "To Go" orders have been an extreme help for me as a Disabled person who has difficulty walking and picking items up. The shoppers who pick my items have been very communicative when shopping for items on my list, and offering options for replacements. I appreciate everything Foodlion has done to provide for everyone during this Pandemic! Highly recommend this Chain Grocery store.
