Worth stopping in for some donuts and coffee. Both are great. We spilt all four today and we (3 of us) agreed, this is a can’t miss place. Donuts are light and fluffy. The yeasty donut was my favorite. The cinnamon roll was amazing. Coffee was perfectly brewed. Well done!

Great donuts, custom sodas, coffees, and teas. Everything is delicious and everything is vegan. It's best to get there early, as they sell out of baked goods by 9:30 on busy days.The environment is welcoming and friendly with a mix of locals and vacationers. The owners are great and happy to provide suggestions for visitors.The chocolate frosting is my favorite.I'm really glad I found this place!

I brought my kids to the playground by the Pier and saw the Roots & Leaves truck by chance. I bought one of each donut flavor and an iced latte with a splash of caramel flavor. DELICIOUS !!! All of it. We LOVED the donuts- very light and fluffy (and vegan). What a friendly dude too! We will be back tomorrow morning!

The owners of the truck are great to talk to and have a clear passion for coffee. You can trust them for a well pulled espresso and a delicious cake doughnut. They also gave us pointers to some local skate parks. Overall the experience was 10/10.Vegetarian options: The whole menu is coffee and vegan doughnuts! Not too much to pick from but if youre like me that's perfect.Kid-friendliness: There's is a playground a little ways away. Not quite close enough for comfort but close enough that you can easily walk to it from the food truck area.

I will travel anywhere for vegan donuts when I am at home in NJ, including Manhattan and Brooklyn (which is the next galaxy depending on traffic) so when I found this place an hour away from where we’re staying, I was immediately down. A beautiful morning ride down the coast with vegan donuts and the beach at the end? Yes please and thank you. Wish I found you sooner! Will definitely be back on the next trip.Vegetarian options: Well, it’s all vegan sooooooParking: Lot wasn’t huge but it didn’t seem to be a problem at all.

They knock it out of park. Only complaint I have is they aren't open sat and sundays. :) most awesome smooth latte I've ever had. I'd drink them everyday if they were open at the really early hour, I come by. This is hatteras Islands hidden gem for coffee. Ive tried multiple places and its my favorite. I was there one time and they remembered me and most important is you are supporting local small business. Their love for their coffee/homemade donut truck shows in every cup of coffee/donut they make. There was an accident in front of their place and I was ready to walk there not to miss this cup of coffee. If you haven't tried their place you are missing out and once you do..you are going to never want coffee anywhere else. Im looking forward to trying their aussie drinks too.

We really loved the coffee and donuts here. The vegan sausage roll was excellent and authentically aussie down to the tomato paste. The coffee was prepared perfectly both times we visited and I discovered a love of oat milk that I never knew existed. Beyond that, we really enjoyed chatting with the owners. They took the time to speak with each of their patrons and start your day with an upbeat vibe.

Don't hesitate. Give it a try! It's great for vegans and non-vegans. This is the best coffee we've had in a long time. I got the iced vanilla latte and my husband got the espresso. He was hesitant about the oatmilk but after he tried mine, he went back to get another oatmilk latte!... it's that good. We really enjoyed the fresh beautiful super soft donuts as well, and they're toddler approved. I loved how nothing was overly sweet like most places. We should have ordered more to take home! The truck is beautiful by the way...but I didn't realize it was a donut place from the back side until I looked on Google maps.

Every year, getting coffee and doughnuts from here becomes a huge staple in our morning routine. Some of us are vegan who come down to the OBX and it's greatly appreciated to have so many options. Please don't go anywhere, haha!

Amazing! The donuts are fresh, warm, and delicious. We tried chocolate sprinkle, vanilla sprinkle, vanilla coconut, and cinnamon sugar. Loved each one!The owners are so sweet and kind to their customers. Highly recommend.Everything is vegan but you’d never guess it! So delicious!There’s plenty of free parking, we were able to park and walk right up to the food truck, which is directly in front of the entrance to Avon Pier (as of May 2022). Picnic tables are available for dining.You can easily walk to the beach from the food truck. Great experience overall!

Food is so good we visited 4 out of 5 days we stayed in Avon. Twice we had gotten breakfast already and still stopped by for donuts and sausage rolls cause they were just that good! Honest wish I could’ve bought them in bulk to take home. Food was always hot and fresh. Also try the wombat bar, delicious! Coffee was some of the best I’ve had and definitely the best in obx as was the chai latte. Owners are both amazing and friendly. They recognized my wife and I from day one and remembered our names and went above and beyond to offer us warm and welcoming service. 10 out of 10 recommend and plan to stop by every future time I visit the area. Would give more stars if I could but google stops me at 5

Great food and people. Hubby and I had a couple of donuts and a chai latte tea. Delicious donuts -- light not heavy. Chai was tasty. Prices great. Guy running the truck was SO nice -- I dropped my donut in the sand and he kindly replaced it for me!

We were really excited to try these vegan donuts, but we arrived at around 11am on Tuesday to find that they had sold out and were closed. We decided to give it another try on Wednesday and arrived at 9:05am to order a dozen donuts. Five minutes after their supposed opening they had already sold out of most varieties and only had cinnamon sugar and sprinkle frosted. We ended up with only 9 donuts (of two varieties instead of the six they claimed to have). Their Google & Facebook pages both state that they open at 9am, but when asked they said they open at 8:30.The two varieties of cake donuts were good, but it would be great if they updated their hours online and actually had donuts to sell.It was just really disappointing that we tried twice and weren’t able to yo get a full dozen or more than two varieties. We aren’t willing to take another drive to try for a third time.
