A great place to stayWe stayed in Corolla at OBX calm O109. My family and i were very pleased with the cleanliness of the inside as soon as we walked in. This was such a relief as this was our first time staying at a vacation rental so didn’t quite know what to expect. It was very warm and inviting with a lot of space for all to spread out when they wanted. The kitchen had all we needed to make every meal. There were plenty of towels and extra pillows and blankets. I loved the enclosed yard for the dogs. The deck overlooking the body of water was an amazing view which was an added bonus. The location is great. Loved that it was at the end of a cudelsac. The basketball hoop outside was a big hit for my teenagers. The walk to the beach was less than 10 minutes. Grocery stores and shopping are a 5-10 minute drive. The only con was the toilet in hall bathroom on second level was not flushing as well as other toilets and we had to use the plunger a couple times but there’s plenty of bathrooms so it wasn’t a huge deal. There was just 7 of us staying in the house. It was a great stay and i would love to stay here again. It was exactly like the pictures.

Perfect locationIt's been a while since we've been to holden beach; The Pour House was the perfect place for our visit. The dog-safe fenced yard and screened porch were perfect for our crew. We loved being on the waterway but also just the shortest walk to the public beach access. The neighborhood was great for walks with beautiful views around every corner. It was quite, which is what we wanted. There are a couple restaurants on the island and the grocery/abc stores aren't far away. Fantastic stay and we hope to visit again next year!

We had a great experience and stay in Corolla, NC. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were uber comfortable! Hot tub was awesome. The ocean is only a short 7 to 10 minute walk. The only thing I would have changed was the fact that it was DVD only. But to be honest that wasn't a big deal after all we did not go there to watch TV. Great communication. Quick to respond.

A little piece of heaven!The perfect beach house for a multi-generation family vacation. On the beach, within walking distance to restaurants, playgrounds, the lighthouse, pickleball and tennis courts, and the pool. The location could not be better! Baby items are included, which made packing much easier. There is also plenty of outside space in the shade. We would happily come back here again!

Breathtaking Getaway!We absolutely loved our stay at the Heaven's Outpost! The most breathtaking views! Being right on the beach was our favorite, next to the best sunsets and sunrises that you could ever imagine! We even got to see dolphins from the porch.... Just amazing! The house was gorgeous, one of the best we've ever stayed at! We will visit again and stay here!

Great place at the beach!This was a wonderful location with beach access and had two beautiful patios facing the ocean. Lots of space! Updated home beautifully decorated with all the amenities. Loved having three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Ideal for a family and friends.

Stayed for a week. This is the 3rd time in this complex. We are very pleased and will continue staying in these homes. We have not had a bad time yet. Beautiful views and can hear the ocean as you sleep. Doesn't get much better than that!

We would step out on the upper deck, accessible by each bedroom and watch the sunrise while being greeted by pods of dolphins, flocks of pelicans, and shrimp boats. In the evening we sat out on the upper back deck and watched the sunset over the sound. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare family meals and plenty of storage for our groceries. The furniture was very comfortable. There was plenty of deck space to spread out. My husband and i enjoyed the platform lower deck while my family loved having beach time. We found shark’s teeth, quartz and even a full seahorse skeleton! Beautiful shells to have family craft sessions. The location was a perfect midpoint to each end of Andersen Ave. On the south end there were a couple gift shops. Myy favorite gift shop being the Blue Gracias, very eclectic! The opposite end had many restaurants, a small grocery store and big box gift shops. We will be revisiting! A grateful family! It’s also about an hour to Historical Wilmington! A must for a day out. The driveway was a little hard to find in the dark, but once we found it the cabin was perfect. Our kids loved having their own little loft and beds. The fireplace made for a perfect place to settle in after a long days play on the snow tubing hills. They had coffee for the coffee maker to get us started for a few days and soap in the shower. The morning view from the porch was perfect. Would definitely come and stay again.

The house and view was absolutely beautiful. It is at the top of the mountain so if it snows you cannot get there without 4 wheel drive. It was easy to find. There were a few boardgames, puzzles, and card games in the house and was stocked with all the little things you don't think to take (zipper baggies, s&p, trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent). The beds seem rock solid at first but we quickly realized they were just frozen memory foam. Once the house warmed up they were incredibly comfortable and all made up with nice bedding. We enjoyed the house so much and would definitely rent it again. We even got to see deer right out the back door.

To say i am obsessed with this cabin is an understatement. This was our first time staying in nc and it was gorgeous. The pictures of this cabin don’t do it justice! You automatically feel relaxed being at cascading creek. Not only is the property and nature around it beautiful, but the hosts have equipped this cabin with everything you would need for your stay. My family and i loved this place sooo much! We can’t wait to go back! This is your sign to book it!

All You Could Ask ForTremendous view from the deck and dining room. Bring a ping pong ball, there is only one but great fun. Fire pit is perfect. TVs great in almost every room. Close in to all that Weaverville and Asheville has to offer.

Nicely appointed unit with a spectacular view!The view of grandfather mountain, morning and night, is spectacular. The unit is nicely appointed. The beds are well dressed and comfortable. The large lighted highway sign at the main highway entrance that read, "Do not enter, all lots are full" further instructing to go 1 mile down the road, was very misleading. We obeyed the sign and went all the way up to the ski area trying to figure out how to get to the condominium. Of course, Google maps kept pointing us back the way the sign said not to go. I called the vacasa number and they were not familiar with this sign and assured we were to proceed up the road. We speculated the sign was to deter those heading to the slopes from driving up to the condominium parking areas. After 20 minutes of frustration and confusion, we finally arrived. Maybe we were the only ones who took the sign at face value being we were unfamiliar with the area. This was a great place for the couple of nights we stayed for our mini "skication". The shuttle to and from the lots is timely. The free bus (a separate and distinct service) to the ski recreation area is recommended rather than driving there. Parking at the ski area is very difficult to come by, especially Friday through Sunday.

My family of 5 (3 daughters age 16,14,11) stayed for 5 days and had the best experience ever. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. There was plenty of dishes and utensils in the kitchen, the bathroom had shampoo/conditioner/soap and even a hair dryer. There was dish soap, cleaning materials, laundry detergent, and beach towels for the hot tub. We even loved the unexpected hangout area in the basement! I don’t know where the previous negative complaints stemmed from because we had the most amazing experience ever. We even looked to see if it was open for two more nights because we didn’t want to leave. The small town of bryson city is easily accessible. We only left the mountain a couple of times. I recommend checking out mingo falls and cherokee nc while there! Such a fun town close by. The drive was intimidating the first time. We took our jeep and i’m glad we did. We are already planning our next stay! Very highly recommend this cabin!

Easy to drive in and out!Hate steep roads and driveways? Then this is the place for you! Great location in the valley next to the watuga river. Home is charming and modern and clean with lots of amenities for when we weren’t on the slopes. Kids and our dog loved playing outside on the rocks by the river. Home has a nice layout with plenty of space for our family of four, we could have easily hosted more people on this trip. Short drive on the main roads up to sugar for skiing. I’m already planning our next visit!

The home itself is in a great area with plenty of amenities during the summer. We went for a winter vacation and loved it. Grandfather mountain was beautiful even with the slet and fog. Would recommend this home to and family that wants to have a great stay with everything you will need.

Star kissed was beautiful. The views were amazing. The beach was just out the door. The house is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The deck has enough chairs for everyone to enjoy the sunrise and the sunsets. The location is perfect, the store is right across the street, with shops and restaurant in the same plaza. Everything you need is there !!The condo is equipped with everything you need. Full, comfortable kitchen. Amazing screener porch . 3 minutes to the beach. They even had pickleball paddles. We had so much fun playing. Comfortable couches. We had an amazing time. Love sea trail neighborhood. Love the condo . Vacasa never disappoints!!

This house was perfect for our annual family ski trip to sugar mountain. Love the layout of this house. We all felt as if we had our on space but yet could come together in the big kitchen and dining area. There was a little remodeling going on but ann marie castellano called and notified me before our arrival. Everything was still a 9 out of 10. Also we had an issue with one of the beds and i reached out to ann marie and she had someone take care of it within a half hour. Great service all around and have saved this rental to my favorites as this is now our new choice for our annual trip. Thanks so much for everything and we truly had a wonderful stay. The home is equipped with anything you need and location is on point. Thanks again, can’t say it enough.

I loved it!!I had no idea that there would be a full mountain range so close to the front porch. The way the house was laid out with the two sliding glass doors. One in the living room one in your bedroom and double sided fireplace. The location of house was good too. The house is very close to things to do. Absolutely loved it!

The house we rented was what we needed for an extended weekend away on the beach. Dealing with Vacasa North Carolina LLC was easy. We had ants the following morning we checked in and I reported them. We managed to keep them under control the rest of our stay. Just make sure you don't leave food out and keep the kitchen clean. The dishwasher didn't work well and we had to hand wash some dishes. We tried vacuuming but the vacuums we had were not sucking anything up. The beds were not horrible. Mine was comfortable, the rest of my party complained about the other beds. I loved having the convenience of being on the beach and coming and going as we wanted just walking over the dunes. Food Lion was a mile away which was convenient. The house could use some sprucing up but overall, it was a great time.

Fantastic location and gorgeous panoramic views. Sunsets were amazing! Great spot for rigging up to windsurf/kite board with easy access to the water. Very convenient to rent equipment at Ocean Air and to dine out at local restaurants. Nice layout of house and beds were comfortable. Beach time across the street was nice too. Overall, we had a relaxing and fun time with friends and family!

Great beach getaway! Being able to walk right out to the beach was our favorite! The home had everything we needed. The hot tub was an extra bonus. We would definitely consider this property for another family vacation.

So we rented a house for the week and when we got into our house, there was a big puddle of water. I contacted Vacasa and they got back to me immediately which was nice and that is mainly the only reason I'm giving them a 2 star, customer service was great......but no one never showed up to clean up the water (so i told them dont worry about it we will take care of it)....the trash was never taken out from the people who rented it last week....so we had to do it. The view was nice and the house was nice. Didn't like the layout of the house... there were roaches in the house that we had to kill. And when we moved the couch to clean up the puddle of water that they never came and did, we discovered that it wasn't even vacuumed or anything. There was so much trash and dust bunnies under the couch that it was gross. Stains on the floor, so it was never mopped or cleaned. I don't know if we will use the vacation rental again or not. I definitely should've looked for reviews before we picked this place, but we have used them before(outer beaches reality) and were satisfied, so I didn't think anything of it. It is a hike to the beach though....

Beech Mountain cozy retreatCondo in Beech Mountain on a very tranquil road close to the beech mountain resort. Enough place for 4 guests and a dog. Space was clean and ready at check-in. Pillows on queen bed are very soft with only one per person. You might want to bring your own if you don’t like soft pillows. It was our second visit and we enjoyed it again very much. If you have a dog and need a nice place in or near Beech Mountain, this is a great place for your trip.

If you see a rental from Vacasa STAY AWAY!!! My family and I rented a home from Vacasa in Kill Devil Hills and when we arrived the home looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Dust completely coated the fan and light fixtures. The rug hadn’t been vacuumed and there was food crumbs and dog treats stuck in the carpet. The floor was dirty. There was a puddle of dirty water sitting in the sheet pans under the oven. A used bar of soap and someone’s shampoo was left over from a previous guest. The sheets were stained and there was hair on the pillows and towels. There was also a dead cockroach under the tv stand.After attempting to contact Vacasa I was told someone from the local office would reach out to me but nobody ever did. And everyday I followed up I was told the same thing. I still haven’t heard from anyone from Vacasa. We ended up having to leave the rental a day early after not being able to use two of the bedrooms and having to sleep on the couch.Update:Vacasa clearly has no intention of resolving any of the cleanliness issues that people have been experiencing. Based on their response to my review it is just the standard comment that they have “implemented a premium clean program” which they have mentioned in other responses to other negative reviews. This shows an absolute lack of respect for their customers. I still have yet to have anyone from their “local office” they keep telling me about to help me and it has been over a month since I stayed. Vacasa just is stealing money from customers and has no intention of actually rectifying their errors.
