Fantastic food! Loved it so much we went back for more & will again. In a couple of visits I had the French dip (best I’ve EVER had!!), waffle fries, nachbros & cowboy burger. All were delicious. Wife had the Philly cheese & the blue cheese burger & also loved both. So glad we found this place in Avon.Parking: Plenty of parking. Shares lot with a grocery store.

Very well done sandwiches. The staff was fast even though they were busy. French dip was great especially the horseradish dip. Not your average dip! Again, very well done. Pictures to post when good connection is available.Update: day 2 was just as good a ls day 1 !!Thanks!!

Stopped in for an early dinner on a Saturday. Even though the place was very busy, our order came out quick and was very good. We had a Cowboy Bro and the Corn Dogs. Everything tasted great!

Bro...you have to come here. Probably the best French dip I ever had. Creative cowboy burger has just enough kick but was delicious with I think homemade pickles. I want a bucket of those pickles just to eat by themselves. In fact, I willl be going by there tomorrow to hopefully buy a bucket of them. Wings were enormous with super dilly homemade ranch dipping sauce. All the sauces were amazing. Great stuff, friendly staff, clean place. One of the few places open off season here so we will definitely be returning!

Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while! Everything is super clean and you can literally seen into the kitchen where they are cooking. I got the kids mini burger which was delicious and got curly fries with it. The fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The fries were so crispy and delicious. I also got a regular cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. Again the burger was beyond delicious and the onion rings were fried perfectly. Nothing was greasy about it. I would definitely come back in a heart beat!!

Went to the outlet mall location - they are offering a great deal currently if you are in the area.I did take out and got a slider for me and a cheesesteak for my husband - even heated up after a few hours - his response was "OMG - I ate the entire thing and it was big..."My slider was also yummy - and the waffle fries are next level.Plus the owners are super sweet - and their story is great.

I picked up my or and brought it home. Two cheese steaks and a loaded waffle fry. There didn’t seem to be any cheese sauce on any of the three items. I drove back and told the employee and he said that the cheese sauce is thin and gets incorporated. He assured me that he watched them put the sauce on. I asked for extra sauce and he actually charged me for it? Won’t be back

Ordered curbside pickup online, and was told it would take about 15 minutes. Food was ready in 10 minutes, and received a text alert for curbside. The food was well priced, and the online ordering was very easy to use. The food was delicious, decent amount of options, and would definitely get this food again! The quinoa burger substitute was awesome!

Deceptively simple, set in a strip mall along the coast, Bros offered quick, friendly service and delicious food. We had the Little Bro, and order of the sweet potato waffle fries, California chicken sandwich, a Big Bro, and I had the tuna poboy. It all tasted fresh and had terrific flavor.

Summary: Would definitely recommend.Stopped in with my wife and kids for lunch on Saturday not long after they opened. The gentleman at the front greeted us right away and was very pleasant while ordering.Got the monthly special which was “their version” of a Reuben. 5/5 would definitely get it again. All of our food was cooked perfectly and came out together. The owner / manager practiced great sanitation wearing gloves to clean and removing before handling food plates. Restrooms were clean.We will be returning and I would recommend anyone to pop in for a bite if they’re in the area.Parking: Parking right in front.Kid-friendliness: The owner / manager was patient while my kids ordered.

First time eating here. Ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich w/ waffle fries and grilled cheese w/ waffle fries.Sandwiches are SO GOOD! Bread does a nice job soaking up sauce, pork is moist, and the pickles add nice acidity and crunch. My kid love the Texas toast grilled cheese. Had a bite myself and indeed cheesy and crispy, well made.Waffle FRIES! Definitely get them! They're dusted with some cornmeal. A nice crunch yet fluffy potato bites. For those who like Chick Fil-A waffle fries, these are a step up.Reasonable prices. Service is friendly. Picnic tables for outdoor eating. Family friendly. I will return. Thanks!

Cali club was great, Nachos bros were good however avoid the Chicken Philly it's super small and not very good for 11 dollars. The prices are also high and the meals are not served with fires.Fries cost extra.The Chicken Philly and the prices was why this got 3 stars.

Stopped by for lunch on our way back home. When the locals in line with you start talking the place up, it's always a good sign! Sandwiches here are freshly made to order and are big on flavor. We went for a classic and chicken Philly, wings, french dip and bbq; everything was delicious. Bonus points for the staff: it's their gimmick to say Bro during the order process, but the team here is also friendly and accomadating. They went the extra mile for our group and dog, helping to bring our order outside. Tasty food, friendly people and loved by locals. You can't go wrong here Bro!

FILLING food!!! Awesome service!!! Clean location!!! Suggestion from a friend in New Jersey of all places (We drove from VA). Amazing Military discount offered!! This will definitely be a permanent location to hit when we visit OBX. Everything was fresh and seasoned well. Definitely try the sauces, especially the ranch with dill. Our kids have big appetites and even they were full!

Took my family here for a quick bite on our first day of vacation in August and found THE BEST BURGER I have ever tasted. And I am a guy that eats a minimum of 10 burgers a month from all across the spectrum of restaurants and burger houses. We went back 2 more times on our trip to validate this. All the food was great I sampled some from all around the table each visit. Last weekend I drove from Lafayette, GA (715 miles each way) with a friend with the sole purpose of having another burger. Yes, it is that kind of good. Great bun, fresh toppings, perfect jalapeno's, house made pickles and the that oh so perfectly cooked and juicy patty. It made it all worthwhile, and exceeded the expectations of my friend. Great place! A must stop if you are within any reasonable drive. Last thing the supper friendly staff makes it even better.

I ordered a Big Bro hamburger at the store in Avon. The burger was so Greasy. It dripped grease and it solidified on my plate. Looked like lard. The waffle fries were overcooked and were basically cold by the time I finished my burger. I had indigestion and an upset stomach for hours afterwards. The included picture is the grease that drained from my burger.I can't imagine what this has done to my arteries.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The sandwiches were best of the best. The bread was like nothing I've had before and to top it off the customer service was exceptional! We were asked about 3 times how everything was and if they could have done anything better. They were so nice and friendly on top of their food being beyond amazing!!

Visited for lunch during a long bike ride down the outer banks. Employees were all friendly and helpful with ordering. I personally ordered the Cali Club which was great, and everyone else in our group said their food was excellent as well. No alcohol available but you can pick up from the Food Lion and have if you eat at the outdoor picnic tables.Vegetarian options: Not a huge number of options but the quinoa sandwich was appreciated

Oct 2018Another Excellent visit to Bro's this year during the annual fishing tournament. We had a day to ourselves before the tournament and ran around Avon and Buxton getting our fishing licenses and passes to get the trucks on the beach. Once we got all the work out of the way we started talking about lunch and everyone looked at me. "Where do we go Joe". Guess what, I know just the place.I had the pleasure of bringing everyone into Bro's for a burger. We arrived on the end of lunch and immediately found ourselves at the counter ordering our lunches. Once completed I filled my iced tea at the counter and we sat and shot the breeze for about 10-15 minutes while waiting for the food to arrive.This year all of our meals came out on dark wood cutting boards, a nice switch up from the old food baskets used in the past. The presentation was awesome as was the test. Between the four of us we had 3 burgers at the table and a cheesesteak. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The service and atmosphere were great. I'm looking forward to coming back next year, or sooner if I find myself in Avon before then.----------Oct 2017When I arrived in Avon for our annual fishing tourney it was about 5pm and I hadn't had a chance to get lunch during the drive. Since I had some time to kill before the others arrived I pulled into the shopping center and decided to give Bro's Sandwich Shack a try.Bro's BTW is located in the front corner unit of the Food Lion shopping center in Avon. Previously this space was the home of Cafe 12, then it was an Asian restaurant for a season and now it's Bro's.After walking in you get in line at the counter and order your meal, there's a decent selection of sandwiches and burgers available. I had a tough time deciding on whether to get a Cheesesteak or a Burger and finally decided on a 'build your own' burger (Bacon Cheeseburger with Cheddar Cheese) with a side of curly fries.After a short wait the young lady that took my order at the counter brought my lunch out. The burger was delicious, as were the fries. My only complaint was that I thought the meal was a little on the pricy side. Burger, fries and drink came out to about $17 after the tip. But what the heck, I was on vacation right. If you're looking for a good Sandwich or Burger in the Avon area, this may be your place.
