I loved the kindness and true customer service experience. Picked up my online purchase she asked if there was anything else she could help me with in such a way that wasn't that hard sell approach. In fact I did need cat food. She called another accurate who brought up front. It was pouring rain, he took all my purchases and loaded them in my car. I will be going back again.

Every time I walked in on Ace Hardware they were so far ahead of their time. When nobody knew Doreman product's were ! They were the 1st to recognize the fastener market. Great job

This store is great.It’s full of good people that know what there doing. I’m from New York and my key fob stopped working to my car and the dealer wanted over $400 to make one and they guy in there named Nate sat in the beating hot sun for over an hour long to try to save me some money and fix my old key fob but my key got drenched in water and couldn’t or reprogrammed so he made me a new one and reprogrammed it for me for only $85. This place was a life saver for me. Thanks very much.

Normally I would have given this store 5 stars. I have frequented the place for years, except recently. It was clearly advertised online the store was open until 6pm. Last time I was in the store, I was approached at 5:45 and was told the store has been closed for 15 minutes and I needed to get out. I said no problem, I'm all set, I just need one more item, but was again told to get out. I complained at the register, but was given a sob story about them being over worked. When I was leaving, I was told don't come back. Interesting thing is they recently updated their hours online to 7am to 7pm. So why was I kicked out in such a cold mean fashion at 5:45?

The store is well stocked and staff were helpful however one of the cashiers wasn’t wearing a mask I waited until the masked cashier was available which some in the line understood. I was pleased to see the manager wearing a full shield yet her staff should follow her example. It’s a practice to ensure the safety of her customers, herself and her family.

You can call or go online and have your hardware or beach needs ready for you to pick up do you have more time to enjoy your vacation. The prices in the store are not the same as the online store, so shop online and get it for cheaper and just pick it up at service window no waisting time looking for what you need or haggling with the manager about online prices. They will just tell you to buy it online for the discount.

We drove to Avon from Rodanthe to buy supplies at the Ace Hardware. I was greeted as soon as I entered. The aisles were well-marked and I quickly found what I sought (CR 1632 batteries and dry-wall anchors and screws). I added a few extras (double-sided tape and super glue) and quickly was checked out and back in the car in a few short minutes. I also warned the clerk thst I had exhausted the display of 1632 batteries and she noted this to ensure that restocking happened.

Went into Ace today looking for a part that I couldn't accurately describe. A young gentleman by the name of Mac was extremely helpful in deciphering what I was trying to find. He took me around to different departments until we found the exact part I needed. Throughout the store I heard multiple associates greeting customers "Can I assist you with anything?". I always feel welcome at Ace.

Went in last minute for a beach chair. Super nice and helpful folks. Surprisingly large selection of little chairs. I got a little folding beach chair and a screw clamp umbrella for around 40 bucks. 😁

Ace would not honor veterans discount with 7.00 reward coupon off 20.00 regular price purchase. It was explained to us , then, the items we are purchasing would not be considered regular price items by using veterans discount. I find this a little hard to swallow. You have to use one or the other. Very sad to honor veterans this way. But, if that's your policy, so be it .

Needed keys made and picked up a few pet items. I give 5 stars for their customer service. The friendly people who helped me were knowledgeable and very fast! Highly recommended.
