This was a quick bite, just like the title says. It’s a cute place, just off the beach with both close free parking by the dumpsters and public paid parking done the block. It is self-service, ordering and picking up at the counter. The staff are very nice with great recommendations for specials. The seating area inside is a bit small but there is outside seating and roof top if that is your thing. I can see it being very busy as the day creeps by into evening.The Man got the chicken tenders and I the crab cake sandwich. Both were tasty as we tried each others. We got there around 12ish and it began to fill up as we finished. It’s casual, many people in bathing suits with coverups. Definitely, recommended.

This is one the best beach lunches I have ever had. My daughter had a hamburger cooked to the right temperature. The shrimp burger is served with boom boom sauce, which was excellent. They were happy to give me extra sauce since I like my shrimp burgers spicy. The fries were an excellent crispness. I asked for my chocolate shake to be made with chocolate ice cream, to which they replied, “That’s the way we make them!” It was delicious. It was too chilly and breezy to sit outside but we did walk up to the rooftop eating area, which would be a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal with a view of the beach and the people walking by. All four of the ladies working that day were friendly and enjoyable to talk with. We were looking for a quick meal after church and ended up with an enjoyable dining experience.

Absolutely loved our breakfast! loved the staff. Very friendly and efficient service. All the food tasted great, and the serving sizes were very generous. The bacon was absolutely perfect! Which to me, rarely ever happens. We had pancakes with bacon and a breakfast platter. I saw a lot of Eggs Benedict being served, and it looked delicious. That will be my next order. I definitely recommend this place.

I am writing this as I sit in this diner. Let the waitress recommend the chicken and waffles and accept this recommendation. They are the most heavenly sweet waffles with juicy chicken. While you’re at it, you have to try the homemade cheese biscuits. When they have bacon in them they look like little crabs! It’s so cute! The taste is how a biscuit should taste. 10 out of 10, you guys should give this place a try!

Outstanding! What a lucky find for us! We were looking for a breakfast place near the water now that the season is over and the reviews for The Bite at the Box were fantastic. We checked it out and the reviews were spot on! Customer service was excellent and food was fast and delicious. Talking with the owners, we clearly got lucky and went on a day they were not busy. Cheesy biscuits and both our meals (corned beef hash and egg bowl) were amazing. Highly recommend even if there is a wait! Plan to make this a regular stop.

The Bite catered our Sunday brunch following our Saturday wedding. Prior to the event, they communicated extensively with us to ensure we were on the same page. The staff was friendly, punctual, and well prepared. The buffet style breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the staff personally served each guest. They even made a special effort to provide lovely tableware for the special event. We stopped by The Bite for breakfast prior to the wedding and enjoyed their delicious hoop cheese biscuit, their specialty. We would highly recommend Joell and her crew for your event.

We frequent Atlantic Beach often, but last week was our first time at this restaurant. I'm eating a pretty strict diet and I understand that my requests for my breakfast can be quite annoying, but I don't mind to pay extra. The manager (at least I believe that she was the manager) wasn't phased by my requests. She happily made my order and it was excellent. We ended up eating there every day. It's definitely our new go to spot when we visit. Also check out the bar next to it or their rooftop bar.

Just know that the bar and the food are different. We went to get bloody Mary’s and the bar doesn’t open til 11 and is not this place. Really nice staff but not what we were looking for.

OMG!! This place is killing it in the breakfast game! Carteret county finally has a great amazing place to get breakfast. You must try the cheese biscuit it’s life changing!!!! And OMG the chicken & waffles are the BEST. The grits are hands down the best. I could go on & on! Just get to The bite at the box!!!! OH and not only is the food AMAZING but the place is spotless & the staff is super kind!Parking: It’s on-the beach what more could u want ?

We came here for breakfast after seeing reviews and pictures. The service was great, the ladies were so polite and accommodating, and the atmosphere was nice too. When we got our food, it was hot and fresh. We all had different menu items, and all 4 of us loved our meals! It was very flavorful and filling. The pancakes were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, and tasted delicious! We are so happy we went there for breakfast. You won't be disappointed!

Great service! Awesome food! Great portions. I ordered takeout and they made sure I had everything I could need. I don't normally rate restaurants due to being able to be off on any certain day. But I felt the need to share what a great meal this was. We will be back.

Absolutely great! We had just gotten to AB when we saw this was a new place, so we decided to give it a try.The Shrimp Burger was fantastic, not a huge portion but definitely enough to make a lasting impression. The hot dog was awesome also, they serve red dogs here. The fries seasoned perfectly, they had ran out so they split my wife and I’s fries up; only to bring out a respectable portion moments later.Staff was very professional AND personable. We will definitely be returning!

The food was overpriced. They did not prepare the food the way I had ordered. My over medium eggs were almost completely fried and the yoke was hard. The eggs, bacon, and toast all seem to have been fried on the same grill. The person who took my order, said they had hashbrowns however, they actually serve breakfast potatoes. I would not eat here again.

Staff was rude and combative. Order was missing fries, cheese and pickles - which we ordered and payed for according to the receipt. Staff used ungloved hands to throw ketchup packets right on top of the food. Place located directly off the beach and we got yelled at for entering without shoes - though there is no sign on the door to say shoes are required inside. If asked politely we wouldn’t have had any issue, why be rude and yell?
