This is a really cool store with way more than just kites for sale! I was impressed by the massive size of Kitty Hawk Kites once we made it inside—the storefront is misleading! We were greeted by a very kind, outgoing employee who talked with us during our visit. She gave us many great suggestions for items our family back home in Durham might enjoy and made us feel like old friends. We appreciated her great customer service and indeed found all of the souvenirs we needed for our loved ones in this one location. There's something for everyone, and it's so much fun to browse here—in addition to typical beach items, they have expansive offerings from popular name brands like Life Is Good and Natural Life. A great place to visit and shop!

We visit this shop every time we go to the beach. It's like the grown up version of Wings. On one side of the store, they have toys, kites, and fun stuff. My daughter loves searching the toy section as they have some unusual and fun things and I love browsing the decor and clothes. Most things are very reasonably priced and they have some really unique stuff. Also, they guy who appears to run the place is super nice and we love chatting with him when we go in. I've never left this store empty handed!

absolutely one of the best stores in AB, and i’ve been to most of all of them. perfect gifts for friends and family, great place to take your kids as well, large selection of name brands like puravida, life is good, hydro flask, crocs, and more, great atmosphere and public restroom, definitely will visit again! the cashier was amazing and super friendly as well, although i didn’t catch his name unfortunately!!:( highly recommend this store!

This spot has everything. Great atmosphere, plenty of cool stuff beyond kites. Definitely a must visit for beach stuff, gifts, clothing, etc.

U need to go here before you spend all your money at Wings or Pacific. Worst advertising ever. There outside sign makes it look like there are only kites and a few pieces of clothes. Not true at all. Quality is way better than those other 2 shops. They also have lots of cool toys, and fun stuff for adults. Tons of Life is good stuff.

Chill and respectful employee (hunter?) ... Not pushy at all like most tourist shops are!! Friendly and talkative to my 12 year old son which is very different from other shops who almost always never speak to kids or view kids as the customer. Will be back before leaving town!!

Have you ever visited a place that had just a little magic fairy dust sprinkled on it? This is it. If you’re looking for whimsy and great variety, buddy, you found it. I was particularly charmed by the hand painted floors in the clothing and accessories section. The kites my children chose are absolutely magical. The shop is a stone’s throw from the beach and you can find anything you could need or want for a little memento or even to use on your trip. It appears local and small businesses are featured as well as charitable organizations. I cannot wait to make another journey to Atlantic Beach and visit this gem.

The boy at the register was literally squatting down playing on his phone the entire time I was in the store. He never said hello, offered to help or even acknowledged my existence. He rang me up without one word to me and then squatted back down to return to his phone.....

Good selection of kites and toys. Purchased an HQ Symphony II 1.3M 2-line power kite for only $39.99....only a couple bucks more than the cheapest online store. Very impressed. Worth a visit.

Kinda what you'd expect... Touristy, souvenirs, toys and limited beachwear, but didn't note any beach chairs or umbrellas, which hit me odd. Nothing caught my eye for anything, which is unusual for me. Friendly staff.
