Clean and somewhat well stocked. I asked for help finding a certain product and 0 hesitation she spent 5 minutes looking with me. No luck. The space size for parking was slightly small. Overall, it was a good experience.

Look at the labels before you buy and notice ALL THE FRESH "FOOD" has the numbers in them stating they are lab grown. Hopefully they don't get the exploding watermelons.

The store was clean and organized. They would have probably gotten a 5 star, but the self checkout caused me to change my rating.The self check out had a few people there checking out with the staff chatting and laughing with a customer. We, of a darker race, arrived to check out and the staff attendant walked over and stood behind us. Now, she bypassed everyone else if a lighter race that was checking out. She stood behind us, as though you are avoid paying for something. I looked at her watching us scan our grocery and I said, we did not need help. She watched us, leaving others of a different race alone. As we got ready to leave, I told her to have a great day and said, not everyone of our dark race are dishonest! When we were walking out, she went back and stood to her register. Now keep in mind, all the self checkout counter were now full but she choose to stand close enough to watch us. Praying for Change!

Avoid their hot bar and prepared food. They sell food that has been sitting out for a long time and is inedible. It appears that no one is monitoring the time the food is prepared and when it goes bad. The popcorn chicken was stale and potato wedges were hard as rocks.

Ummm...isn't every Food Lion garbage? Only reason it is still viable is because it is relatively inexpensive compared to others like Whole Foods or Publix but I'd rather go there for better quality

Checking myself out with bags everywhere due to the size of my order for my family vacation. Crew person was pleasantly as they watched me do everything. The manager was very nice and greeted me as he walked passed. I guess this is the new standard I'm going to have to accept but not without a 1 star. A gold star!

They don't care about a customer. A gentleman wauting in front of me at customer service gave up and left. I waited afterwards with no one there. I finally interrupted a cashier who called someone. I young man walked by and said sorry, he had to help someone else. Why even bother to have a customer service desk if the people who go there are not going to be addressed?

It is a typical grocery store. It is a regional chain founded in Salisbury, NC. Many of its store brands are good and a few better than name brands. Usually their groceries are a little less expensive than other regional chains.

Outstanding place to shop for your groceries. The produce dept is well maintained as well as the deli, meat dept, and grocery dept. The staff are always very professional, friendly and helpful. Restrooms are clean and orderly. Handicap parking and access

I was blown away by how helpful and friendly every member of the staff was! The meat department made me a custom ground beef package so I could get the right weight, they gladly found a substitution for a sale item that was sold out, and the bakery helped me order a custom cake. The only hiccup was that the cake didn't have frosting between the layers, which I'm guessing was just a mistake. Overall, the prices were very fair for the location. Fresh produce selection was great.

Place is always packed, but it is really the one of the Two grocery stores in the emerald isle area. Had everything we needed. The employees were decent acting but this place was a mad house so I thought nothing of that. I don't see how they were maintaining composure.

Store is clean and well stocked. I like the self-checkout lines. The other local Food Lions don't have them. They have plenty of attentive staff.This store has the busiest times before the tourist check in times until about 5 PM.

This food Lion is great. Very convenient and the employees are friendly. There's a little planning involved for summer shopping though. Make sure to stock up on the days that tourists are well into there weeks at the beach. On Sunday and Monday sometimes the shelves are bare. They come into town and buy all of the snacks and drinks. It takes the store a little while to restock and recover. Good variety of products and if you want them to get something in stock they will try to get it for you.

Team is always polite, helpful, courteous and talk to you at checkout enough to welcome you but not enough to hold everyone else up. Great selection of everyday needs. Wide aisles. Clean and neat all the time. Prices are good. Sales are good.

This food lion is way better than the one close to where I live. Shelves were well stocked and the vegetables looked good. If you are in the area on vacation, like I was, this is a good store to pick up the essentials.

Me and my wife stopped in to grab a few items, I went to the men’s rest room and I was so impressed on how spotless the floor and walls were. When shopping through out the store everything was very nice and the young ladies that were working at the checkout lines were very helpful and friendly. This location would be ok if the staff weren't constantly blocking the isles. The isles in this store are very narrow and there is always staff who push you out of the way or block the whole isle. It makes getting what you need rather difficult. Sometimes I just walk out and go to another store. It isn't just a one time thing. It is every time I go into this location.

If you work there your gonna be disappointed. I was an employee cashier with them at that time. They treated the employees bad and mostly the cashiers who have to deal with more hard work. When asked to work full time they don't give it to you. If you work full time you get health insurance but only bosses can get that. But not hard workers like us who help the customers. It maybe a good place for prices but don't work their! You will be treated unfairly and picked on as well. Too many drama and they messed with me cause of my learning disability. I quit because I wasn't gonna take it anymore. I work hard for them and its never enough.

It's a grocery store at the beach, if you wait too long they will be cleaned out! (Especially bacon for some reason) Don't think you are going to roll through here quickly and get everything you want, again it's the beach. Decent beer selection and the vegetable area usually seems pretty good. Meat? It's a Food Lion, don't expect a full butcher shop cut to order. Go to the deli and grab some pre-sliced lunch meat and cheese for the beach though! Well portioned out for this type of thing.Just remember, it's not a Whole Foods but a beach place. Bring your patience if it's a Friday. Or just order ahead on the app! (Thanks pandemic!)
