We rented the Carolina Skiff for 2 days of fishing. The customer service was top tier and informative. Prices were fair and the boat was in great condition. We had a blast fishing and got some pointers from the owner. If you are looking for a boat or bike to rent, then I will definitely recommend using these guys. Will definitely repeat.

Leisa and Hilbert are a pleasure to work with for a rental on their Sea Doo Switch. They were very responsive in communicating ahead of time. After an orientation run, we were off and enjoying ourselves. We hit Shakedown, Rachel Carson, Beaufort, MHC and the sound up to PKS all in 4 hours so the boat is capable of getting you where you need to go. We had an outstanding day out on the water and our first mate (Duke) thoroughly enjoyed himself.

We have been renting boats from Lisa and Hebert at Beachside bikes for years and they both could not be nicer. We have taken out both the smaller skiff and the nicer sea hunt. If you have the extra money the sea hunt is well worth the cost. I really prefer renting from them because their boats all come with GPS and depth finder to keep you out of trouble. Hebert is great offering suggestion on where to go and is only a phone call away if you ever have any trouble. Their price have always been competitive and they are just good people to rent from. I highly suggest give them a try as you will not regret it.

My family and I rented a Carolina Skiff from Lisa and Hilbert (the owners). They worked with me on the length of rental which was a great start. Lisa gave us solid advice on where to go for a waterside lunch and other worthwhile sights. Hilbert was ready for us on time and gave an excellent briefing on the boat operations in the area, and how to use the boat's GPS (a huge help). My family had a great afternoon on the water thanks to Hilbert and Lisa. They treated us with kindness and we're informative if asked. Definitely will be renting from them again!

My brother and I rented a Carolina skiff for the day this past summer and although customer services were excellent on the day, the boat would not stay in gear and was a real hassle for the entire day. After providing some detail, we were promised a partial refund that never happened. I really hate to give a one star, but we were left with little choice. Great people, bad day. We still had tons of fun given we have spent more than 50 years visiting this area with out own boats and were not 'rookies' as I expect they thought we were.

We rented bikes here and received the BEST customer service ever. Hilbert is absolutely wonderful. Gave us tips on a scenic biking route (hidden gem), made sure we had locks, helmets and our bikes are in excellent condition. He even surprised us with his expertise with car repair when my friends’ car had a problem. Couldn’t speak more favorably about this place!

Owners are amazing. We rented a boat for the day. The weather was not great but they worked with us. They gave us info on local restaurants and places to visit in the area. The boat was a Carolina skiff. It was clean, ran well and was well equipped. We had a small issue with GPS but the owner talked us through everything and made sure we were safe and able to continue our day on the water. This a a great area to vacation, people are friendly, very relaxing, and pet friendly. Beachside bikes is a great place to rent a boat. The owners make the experience easy and accommodating. Thank you. We will visit again hope for better weather next time.

These people know how to serve customers. I had numerous questions ahead of time and they patiently answered them. We got a boat that was perfect for what we needed. They took the time to explain the process and offered a bit of local navigation advice that really helped with some shoaling that I likely would not have been able to avoid. The boat was clean, prepped and ready to roll as soon as we arrived. We were helped with easy load/offload and their attitude is great. I highly recommend them if you are renting a boat at the Crystal Coast.

We have always had great experiences with Beachside Bikes! We have rented bikes and scooters in the past. Always great stuff for a reasonable price and ease of delivery. Today, we enjoyed their 21 foot skiff! It was SO much fun and everything was in excellent condition!!! Hilbert took great care of us getting started and ending our day!!! We will only rent from them in the future!

We rented scooters here overnight. The scooters are off brand, but all in pretty good condition and fun to ride. Recommend some riding experience prior to renting, I believe they mentioned they're not going to be renting to need riders anymore. Also recommend finding a calm area to ride them as the majority of the island of the one main road and people drive a little crazy. Only downside is rentals are a bit pricey, but not unreasonable.

Lisa saved us a lot of headache down the road. She helped me select a safe, appropriate moped for my son and worked out a payment plan with him. When he paid off the scooter she was patient with us during pick up and took plemty of time to make sure he would be a safe and confident rider. Knowlegable on state moped laws and requirements.

We were at the beach for a weekend and went to rent scooters. We were told we can’t rent them as they are trying to sell the scooters and therefore only rent to highly experienced moped riders. They let over a $100 sale walk out the door.We apologize that our money isn’t experienced enough for this business. Don’t waste your time.
