A terrific book store that I simply was not expecting in AB. It is staffed by kind and knowledgeable folks and their offerings - oh so much! If your looking for bestsellers, fantasy, comics, non-fiction, children’s, and on and on (!), you’ll likely find it here. I love to support a small business bookstore and Beach Book Mart felt like an excellent place to spend my book dollars. Check them out for yourself!

I LOVE going to this book store. The front desk girl, Maddie or Mattie (sorry if I butchered that), is AMAZING!!! I love her energy and how she presents herself. I once told her that I love reading mangas, horror and mysteries, and she always has a new book suggestion! The place is also always clean and tidy. Anyways, I love this place and that girl is an absolute gem and my favorite book girly! 😊 📚

Lovely bookshop with plenty of options for everyone! Even though it's a small business, the prices aren't more expensive than a large corporation. I walked in not expecting to leave with an entire book set, but I sure did! You can't just get book 1 when the whole, matching set was right next to it. Friendly and helpful staff was a bonus less commonly found in larger name bookstores.

Visited this store during our stay at Emerald Isle. Store is bigger than it looked. Wide selection of books, especially anime. Was able to find a bunch for myself and kids. Would recommend and will return if I find myself in this area again.

The lady working the closing shift was very rude. I was on the phone talking to my friend about what to get for my husband's birthday. I had a few comic books in my hand and the lady says "Hey you". I looked over not realizing she was speaking to me and she was tapping her wrist and said "it's about time to close". I instantly apologized because I was unaware of the closing time and she goes "i just wanted to let you know because you are chatting instead of buying". Worst customer service ever.

I'm so thrilled to know about this bookstore. They've got a great selection of adult and children's book, good sales racks, and super friendly staff. We found what we were looking for. Parking is free and easy, and there's an ice cream store in the same shopping center. It's a great activity for a hot summer afternoon: find a new great read and have a great too.

Very nice Book Store, great selection, they have comics, graphic novels and D&D books. Dice , Magic cards and a few music cds as well. Cute local bookstore. They special order as well.

I’ve been going here for 13 years now and have yet to have a complaint about this place. The staff have always been kind and have worked with me to correct any issues I may have, or help me track down something I’ve been looking (even outside of their own business), and are the ONLY book store I visit that has comic book subscriptions. There IS a selection here, and they may not be on the same scale as Barnes & Noble or BAM, but anyone who appreciates good reads from a plethora of authors or just something visually stimulating like comics/graphic novels, there’s always something to select.

this is the most awesome comic book and game store!! we got a bunch of really cool magic the gathering cards and accessories (and some DND) with the help of Liz, who is a wonderfully helpful MTG expert! she recommended some great card packs and sets for us! will definitely be visiting again next time we're in the area!!!

The worker here is VERY friendly. We got to the store a little before it opened. She greeted us in the parking lot and said she would get the store open as quickly as possible. This was a much better experience than the kite store next door where the gentleman was VERY rude. Well done being kind to your customers!

I love this book shop! One of the most inviting things to me about this shop is the location. It's on the beach for one, but it's in a little nook inside a friendly spacious plaza. You can walk around to different shops after browsing for books!The book store itself is packed with new books... and even tons of comics for all you manga fans.Worth the drive over to the beach to look around for your next reading adventure 👍🌊

I love this bookstore! They have a little bit of everything (and wow the comic collection is amazing!), but not so much that you cant find what you're looking for. The people that work there are very kind. It's not just about the "sell," they actually carry on conversations with their customers, but also give you the space to lose yourself amongst the different collections. Everything is categorized and the transition between collections flows smoothly. Definitely a great place to "get lost" in for a while!

Love this bookstore. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They carry everything from classics to Beach reads. Little kid books to graphic novels. Even a Spanish language section! They will happily help you find the perfect book for every age, interest, and reading level.

Woah, this place has the best selection of beach reading & entertainment for the whole family (even the ones who prefer Magic cards to reading). The owner is especially friendly and knowledgeable about everything from beach reading to the latest superhero crossover event. Definitely check them out!

Here's an animal you don't see in the wild as often...an independent local bookstore. Beach Book Mart features an eclectic collection that includes beach reads alongside classics, as well as healthy selection of comics and graphic novels. The owner Liz is as nice as she can be and happy to recommend based on your preferences. If they don't have it in stock, they will order it for you. My boys and I can kill forty-five minutes in the store no problem. Glad to support them with my business.

The owner working the store that day couldn't have been more friendly, engaging and helpful. The books we picked out were prefect reads for the beach. Amazon may be cheaper but time spent talking to this informative person was well worth the few extra dollars.

I have very fond memories of this place. The original owner was a very good friend of my late ex-fiance. The lady who runs the store now is very nice and is a great conversationist. Got a few dollars in your wallet? On Atlantic beach? Stop by and tell her what you like! Comic books, manga, romance, sci-fi, gaming books, drama, everything!
