Ace Hardware in Atlantic Beach is a great store convenient if you live on the island. They have it all, paint, few boat supplies, plumbing, hardware, outdoor grill, electrical, tools , plants, unlike Lowes Ace has great customer service!

Go there atleast once a week, friendly people, always stocked, and clean. Everyone there knows their stuff and helps out. If you need anything to fix up a beach house, that's the place to go, if they don't have it they're pointyouin the right direction.

I want to give a shout-out to Ellen and Jay for their excellent service. I took my grandkids in today to get a stick for a fishing project. The stick didn't quite fit what we needed. Ellen suggested that I speak to Jay who is the "McIver" of the store and maybe he would have a suggestion...(my 13 year old Grandson said "Who is McIver?" Lol). He went above and beyond to help my grandsons and also gave some valuable fishing advise.

We go there all the time for items that we need from a hardware store. The employees are very nice and helpful. Having it on the island is great. Can't say how many times it saved us from driving into Morehead city to get something from Lowe's.

A lot of items out of stock and nothing lined up with the prices on the shelf. I thought I was buying a 50ft hose for 30 bucks turned out it was 60 and the one I wanted wasn't in stock so it was a price shock and a disappointment all together.

I have made many trips to Ace Hardware for supplies I need for my condo and all of the employees are super friendly and helpful. They always have the supplies that I need. I have been in before and the owner ask if he could help me and stayed with me trouble shooting until we found all of the supplies I needed for my project! One of my favorite stores on Atlantic Beach! Always service with a smile!

Staff availability is usually pretty good, and the employees are friendly. With some exceptions, returning items is hassle free if you have a receipt. You can get a store credit without a receipt.

Of you want to pay $10 for a $1 dollar bucket this is your store. They were very over priced past few years and now with the pandemic they have decided to be even more over priced. This store is not owned by honest people.

Like this store! I have visited this store several times recently and they always have what I need. The staff is friendly and eager to help. I really like not having to cross the bridge to go the Lowes.

Very convenient got about everything you need but if you need paint or stain i wouldnt go i waited about 20 min just to find out they couldnt mix a color stain because they wont selling that product anymore but its still on the shelves

I asked for a good product to kill the weeds and leave the grass. The associate picked something out; took it to the counter and checked me out. I came home and applied the product. A week later my entire lawn was dead. He sold me a grass and weed killer. My lawn is destroyed.

Very helpful and friendly team! My daughter and I went in for several items and to have a few extra keys made. They were quick, incredibly helpful and happy to help.

A smaller store than most Ace Hardwares, but a super clean and organized store at that. If you don't see what you want, be sure to ask, as merchandise is also in back.Wonderful and friendly store.

Best place to get that new Weber grill to replace the one rusted out by all the salt air here. They have almost all models and some are already assembled! They have propane exchange also and the usual assortment of hardware items.

I can't stand this place over priced out dated inventory with rude staff to boot. I just had paint mixed wrong and the guy blamed me. Old outdated hardware from the 50's without the same old fashioned customer service.
