I have been bringing my Golden puppy to this daycare since he was about 4 months old. He absolutely loves it and I trust them completely. They have a rigorous temperament testing policy which I really appreciate for the safety of my dog. I can watch him play on the camera anytime I want which reassures me he is doing well. He is now getting groomed there every three weeks while he is at daycare which is so convenient. They are always keeping track of his vaccination records too. I am sure I will be using them for boarding at some point too. Such a great way to socialize my pup and get all that crazy energy out. So grateful for this business!

Wow! It is a wonder that anyone would think about taking their dogs anywhere else. The Owners of Wonderdog have been taking care my dogs since we rescued them and can't imagine anyone else caring for them. They treat my dogs more like family than my own family. They can be very strict about their temperament tests, but it is for the benefit of the dog and owner. Knowing how thorough they are and how they are about the dogs they are willing to board, I have absolute faith that my dogs will be around other well balanced and well behaved dogs. I was always well informed about exact expectations at every step. I have rarely found a groomer/boarder with such organization, poise, and genuine dedication to the proper care of my animals.

This is absolutely the best groomer place in Asheville! Seth is a super nice and understanding person and has really worked with myself and my girls for the best schedule. Chris is by far the best groomer I have ever worked with, even with rescue dogs that have nervous ticks.I completely recommend them for the place to bring your babies. This is the first place my sweet babies leave after their grooming and are smiley and calm.

These folks run the best shop in town which is why they are in such high demand.The team at Wonderdog really makes the difference. They are empathetic, acknowledge my concerns and know how to deal with a worrisome client like me. I’m so impressed with Wonderdog as a business and so happy with the grooming my dog received! I have a long haired german shepherd who was in desperate need of grooming and he has never looked better after a visit to Wonderdog! He’s sleek and soft and was even very relaxed after his visit even though he’s an anxious dog. They went above and beyond and genuinely cared about my dog and doing the best job possible. The facility is clean and smells good and the owners and staff are very professional. We will definitely be back!

This is a fabulous business! They seem to do it all when it comes to Dogs - daycare, boarding and Grooming. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The business is easy to locate and has good parking. My pup was new to the whole experience and he came out happy and beautiful looking.

These folks didn't let me board my dog here, and that made me like them MORE. Let me explain- I was in a bind where my pet-sitter cancelled on me last minute. I have a geriatric shepard and a very nervous young pittie. They were willing to work with my schedule to get the dogs in for a playdate test on short notice. From the very beginning, I was totally impressed with how the staff handled my nervous dog. They were incredibly kind, patient, and unassuming, and obviously have training and dog-handling experience. After I left they called me quickly to let me know my guy was still really stressed, and that he probably wouldn't be happy here.Basically, they were more concerned about my dog's well-being than making a buck, and that speaks volumes!Their customer service is impeccable- honest, professional, and timely. I hope eventually to work my nervous dog up to being able to stay here. They obviously care about your pet.

Seth and team are very attentive to the dogs. Our dog leaves happy, tired and always jumps from the jeep and runs to the front door when we return. We left the last place months ago because the employees kept turning over and we noticed our dogs attitude was changing with every visit. Wonder 🐕 rocks!

Every single person I’ve met here is someone I completely trust with my dog. They run an efficient business with excellent communication and pricing that feels appropriate. My dog looks forward to going and that says something as he has some history of trauma. He does however think there should be more blueberries on hand for snacks.Thanks Wonderdog!

What nice people. My dog had a 2 hour tryout and he really enjoyed himself. We pulled up to the same building a couple of days later and he started jumping up and down in excitement. That’s a great sign!

Did not honor our reservation over the busy holiday season and left us scrambling - also said they were “horribly understaffed” by own admission. Not trustworthy at all! We were told when we made the reservation that we could “come in any time” for a temperament test as our dogs were new to boarding here. I made the rez, paid the deposit, and when I called three weeks in advance to drop the dogs off for the test was informed that tests were by appointment only and that none were avail thru year end…therefore our reservation would be cancelled. ?!?! No advance notice, no communication, no apologies for leaving us stressed finding a place at the last minute. Abysmal customer service, not to mention their excuse was that they were “horribly short staffed” and therefore could not accommodate a simple vetting appointment. This is obviously concerning…think twice before boarding your furry family here.

We boarded our rescue poodle with Wonderdog for the first time. Our little girl has past trauma and is very shy and untrusting. The staff at Wonderdog went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and were very responsive. If we need to board again, we will plan to use Wonderdog.

I've been taking my dog here since November 2020. They frequently update their Facebook page with pictures taken during the day, and even offer on-site grooming and nail trims, which is super convenient at very reasonable prices. Everyone is always super friendly, and all of the dogs anyways seem very happy!
