Having lived in Florida and gone to many Wild Birds Unlimited locations, this Wild Birds Unlimited in Gerber Village is fantastic. The staff greets you right when you walk in the door, and they're always willing to answer your questions. They listen to your bird-situation and show you the best feeders and food for the birds you want to attract. I'm super grateful for all the assistance they gave me when I found a bird that had hit my window. They provided contacts and I was able to get the bird to a woman who donates her time to help injured and sick birds. Overall, I'm super grateful to have this Wild Birds Unlimited and the amazing help the staff provides.

I always get friendly advice at this store! And they have provided me with solid options I've used to help attract birds to my lot. The staff are always a caring, willing to answer questions and honestly birds themself. Prices might be a bit higher than a discount store, but the friendly, informative service is worth it. And the staff clearly bird themselves, pulling up pictures of how they feed the birds at their own house.This store helped me pick out an appropriate feeder tray (that I can take in in the afternoon as we have bears in the area) and get out each morning; helped me pick a good seed for the area. These additions to my back porch has provided a lot of enjoyment and helped kick off my increased focus on local birds.They also talked me through adding additional elements for different seasons - with a hot tree bark I'll use this winter.They also offer a discount program - that may be simply a way to stay in touch with me, but I appreciate their communications and the discounts.It's simply a joy to walk back into the store; and a store I'll return to and walk out with a solution or maybe just more seed.

I’ve always enjoyed visiting this store and often do. One of them employees, Roman, is particularly kind and helpful. I did want to note that I felt pretty disheartened during my visit today as an older female employee was, in my opinion, unnecessarily chastising my 5 year old son for taking interest in some small metal bird figurines by the check out counter. He has always played with them and it’s never been an issue but she took issue and kept making little remarks. It made me feel sad and unwelcome. I guess I just wanted to make others aware that you should avoid taking your kids in here. :(

Very helpful staff. Highest quality seed, feeders, birdhouses and more. Hot pepper birdseed that mammals (bears, racoons, squirrels etc.) don't like is a godsend.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Bird seeds are high quality and almost always in stock. Store always has a cat from the humane society available for adoption. They’ve placed dozens with forever homes. It’s fun to see and play with the cats while you’re shopping. Good for them to do this.

Bird watching has always been a big hobby for me so shopping at WILD BIRDS UNLIMITED is the place to go for everything bird related! My most recent shopping experience was a nice and helpful one. I usually shop at the Crispin Court location in Asheville NC. We were greeted by a very nice lady by the name, Martha. She was helpful with advice and knowledge of the items I purchased. I give the store a 5 star review.

Went to a talk by Leann about falconry. Very interesting and informative at Wild Birds Unlimited in south Asheville. This is Jack, a Harris's Hawk.Staff also helpful with buying supplies for bird feeders at home.

This store has quality bird seed and feeders. They also stock fun bird stuff like socks and mugs. The staff is friendly and usually they have a friendly store cat that is available for adoption.
