My vizsla Mia loves coming with me to shop for her food, treats and toys. She mostly enjoys the treats and spoiling from the incredible staff! She was nervous getting into the car yesterday but when I pulled up in front of the store she did a full body wag and could hardly wait to go in. Staff is always helpful and welcoming.

The staff here is INCREDIBLE. They are always so kind, friendly, and helpful. I’ve been here three times at this point, getting cbd treats for my Shih Tzu. They were very knowledgeable on all the products I asked about. It really shows how much they care about their community and animals!!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe this was my first time going to this store!!! (I've lived here my whole life!!! )The employees are so very friendly and knowledgeable!!! They were very kind and helped me to find the perfect product for my senior fur baby. Also I had two dog tags engraved while I was there, and I couldn't believe how quickly they were done. I definitely recommend The Tailgait Market!!

I just want to say that the tailgate Market is a wonderful place to shop. The women that work here are absolutely magnificent. They can answer every and all questions and they're always such a delight to see. Not to mention all the fuzzy babies that you can see when you are shopping here. Such a great place. My pugs love the Tailgait Market. Not only does the store carry high quality pet food, the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about pet nutrition and care. They know/remember their customers names, humans and pets alike, and give tailored advice based on the needs of your pet. There are other stores like it in Asheville, but I appreciate the personal touch at the Tailgait Market. My pugs and I are not just another customer at the Tailgait Market. We feel like we are family.

The only place I trust for all of my pets needs! Last year I switched my dogs to Fromm adult dog food and they have had shiny, soft, itch free fur! The shop owners and workers are all amazing, they are so helpful and always kind. This place is the best!

The staff is knowledgeable and always friendly. They always have a wide variety of products and even if they do not have it in stock, they always know when they will be getting some more in. It is always a positive experience to know that information. I use their training treats, fish skins and natural flea spray. All of which works!

The Tailgait market is amazing. The staff are wonderful, my dog is really shy but they bare with her and try to make her comfortable while we are looking around. They really care about the well being of your animals and make sure everyones experience is a great one. I would recommend the salmon skins and the duck feet to anyone my dog absolutely loves them.

This is the best pet store anywhere! We used to drive over from Lake Lure. Now we come from Bristol. Everyone who works there is so great. It's like Cheer's - everyone knows your name.I love supporting this local business...even though technically it's no longer local to us.We feed our pets raw food and they always have what we need for them.Check out this awesome store....you won't regret it!

I have been a customer of the Tailgait Market for 3 years. Andrea and her staff are great! There are many things to recommend including the food, supplements, toys and supplies and accessories but the best thing is the nutrition advice...have a cat with IBS; have a dog who needs to lose weight; have a pet with cancer or another medical problem, then there is practical advice after the medical advice you get from your vet. They really care about you and your pets. They laugh with you at the good times and give you care and a hug in the bad times. They are the best!

I have purchased all my dog food and supplies at Tailgait since I moved to Asheville, NC in January 2016. The owner, Andrea, is a nutritionist and very knowledgeable of all dog breeds. The staff is very friendly and able to answer all your questions and make referrals for vet care, grooming, day care or boarding.

Such a wonderful experience! The lady working on the Memorial Day was beyond sweet and helpful! I don’t usually write reviews, but this was such a pleasant one, that I had to express it to the world. The ladies at The Tailgait Market are the best. So very helpful. I love the customer service here so much that I will continue to shop here as long as I possibly can. They are the best there. They care more about your pet than profit.I was looking for a re-fill to a toy. Andrea said she threw them all away when she found out they are made in China.You know a big box store won't do that.I have a (special needs) dog. Okay, really she's just crazy. I take her to have her nails trimmed then we go to Tailgait and she gets to pick out a special treat. I hope this makes the trauma of the clipping easier.... It does for me. Andrea and staff is so sweet to her. Shelby must like them too. She's never even growled at them!
