This was my first time in this particular Petco store. The store's clean, well lit, well merchandised with a wide selection of products and competitive pricing. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, happy to help, answer questions and asked questions as to provide the best guidance. Their return policy for fish is 30 days from purchase with the sales receipt, deceased fish and a water sample from your aquarium. I'll definitely be back.

This store is well stocked but is not very clean. The floor does not look it its been cleaned in months. Employees were good. They had whatbwe he3ded but some attention to cleanliness is in dire need.

Hate to leave a negative Review but the lady who is in charge of the fish that wears glasses ? Needs to work on her customer interaction. I understand she is supposed to ask questions but she wouldn’t sale me a fish because of my tank size even though I was sizing up. I overheard her telling other people to do their research and she wasn’t going to sale them a lizard ? Petco you are losing money….

I go here for the aquatic section and let me tell you, Alex knows as much (if not more) than the guys who are twice her age working at the local fish shop. Don't get me wrong! Those guys have a great selection, but Alex is so knowledgeable and approachable, I've learned a lot about my tank from her.As with any chain store, all their tanks are connected so if they have an issue with one tank, it's likely to spread to others. The corporation also values profit over the well being of the animals and fish. Having said that, the individuals working at a store can make all the difference, and it really seems like everyone who works the aquatic section is doing the absolute most within their ability to give the fish and invertebrates the best quality of life possible. They've got a great selection and can order specific fish you want too!

This Petco is the best one I've ever been to! They have a wide variety of fish and aquatic plants, they have birds, sometimes ferrets or chinchillas! They also have a nice reptile selection as well. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable too.

Clean bright store. Ample parking available outside. They have handicap spots and automatic sliding doors. Staff are friendly. Love their brand of cat litter, it is very affordable and good quality.

Came in with my 2 month old puppy only 20 minutes before closing last night. The workers were not only thrilled to see the dog but extremely helpful recommending the right toys for him, also provided me with plenty of informational material regarding new pet owners and a personal recommendation by the staff for a trainer. As well as offering me advice on obeditand potty training. Staff were informed and kind, I'll be definitely visiting here as my primary pet care store. 10/10 great experience.

We was taking care of my bearded dragon. It died in one week. They gave us a sick baby bearded dragon now I have another one from a store in Georgia. It’s been alive for over three months. See the difference. Never come bad idea if you’re coming for a bearded dragon.

I was headed to the Arboretum and needed a collar for my pup, Petco was conveniently on the way. I purchased the collar and off we went. Once there, though, I soon discovered the collar was too big as Nikki slipped right out of it to visit another pup.On my way home, I took the collar back and explained my predicament. They happily exchanged it for the right size. Hassle free! Thank you Petco on Brevard Road!

Very rude customer service with the customer service manager. Was there for an hour trying to get some fish for my kids, ask one lady for help and she said she didn't work there other than to the inventory. Said she would get someone and never came back with anyone. About 30 min go by and we ask someone else this time he brings someone to help. She didn't have a name tag on. Was being rude and ask why are we still here when they are closed and I was like we have been here an hour looking for someone to help us. She then refused us the fish because we were buying a tank as well because we needed a bigger tank for all the fish. She told me she is refusing to sell me fish because I was buying a tank as wellAs I was trying to explain to her we already have a tank at home just need a bigger one. She then stated well yall need to leave because we are closed, so I put all the stuff that we had in the buggies and walked out. Will never go back. Maybe if you came and checked in your customers instead of staying outside smoking you would have realized we were in the store shopping.

If you're looking for a dog trainer in Asheville, look no further. Erin is absolutely amazing!!! She is very knowledgeable with all ages and breeds of dogs. She is in tune with you and your pet and gives positive reinforcement for bad behaviors ,so in the end you and your dog are happy. She's upbeat, and always happy and,always glad to see you walk in the door. She can help you fit your pupper with the perfect harness and give you advise for their best nutritional needs. Petcos pricing for classes are very reasonable. You can train one on one or in a group setting(covid safety guidlines) either way you can't go wrong with Erin. Go give her a try,you and your dog will be glad you did!!!

Mikayla "Mickey" did an amazing job with my pup! He had mats and tough dreads. He was so excited and happy after being groomed! She even informed me of a 20% off coupon which was awesome. Definitely going to consistently bring him to her for all his grooming needs.

Just had the best experience shopping at this petco! The associate, Will, was extremely knowledgeable and provided me info on my breed of dog that I didn't know! Super helpful and friendly! They charge you .10 cents per bag for stuff you just purchased in there store. Spent 180.00 and charged me 20 cents to put my things in a bag. Crooks !!
