Olivia was amazing! We wanted an education on feeding our new kitten the healthiest food and she spent lots of time with us going over the best options in detail.The store is large and well organized with many choices! Cute kitties were available for adoption. Several complete raw food brand choices.They have a rewards program and an adoption package!We will be shopping here for our kitty food for sure!

So lucky to have these stores in my town! Nicest people in every location (though I mostly frequent downtown and West Asheville). Their food brands are highly researched and scrutinized for quality and the staff are always up to date when things change or good brands get sold etc. Not only does Patton Avenue Pat Company Make my pet ownership easier and better, but the fact that they are locally owned and highly ethical in their business practices makes me feel good supporting them and proud to have them in my backyard.

Patton Avenue Pet Co is such a wonderful local business! Its a welcoming store that feels warm, clean, organized and comfortable every time I go in! Not like those big box stores! AND! Not only is the staff incredibly pleasant, they are extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I love being able to support this local business and the wonderful folks who own and operate it! It also makes me feel great to go and trust their knowledge and experience, so that I can give my dog the top quality food she deserves.

This pet store is known for top of the line, high quality pet supplies and food. Pricier than some places, but you are there for the quality & service. I took my dog to pick out a new sweater & treats for her birthday. She was able to try on several sweaters for a perfect fit. She also had the opportunity to pick her own chews. This was a great experience, as my dog is well behaved in stores & is hard to fit & a picky eater.

My favorite pet store EVER!! I absolutely love the employees. There is an excellent selection and great prices. The best part is that they donate to local pet societies!I have cats with very sensitive tummies. Patton Ave Pet steered me in the right direction, and I started them on a grain-free diet. It took a couple of brands to get it right, and when it didn't work out, I brought in the unused portion of food, and they gave me a complete refund!! WHAT?! I was sooo grateful for that! Plus, they donated the unused portion to pets in need. How sweet!This place definitely puts a smile on my face. When I adopted 2 new kitties, they sent me home with a ton of free food and goodies! I mean, who does that? Thank you, Patton Pet Co., from the bottom of my heart!

What a great local company! My partner & I have been shopping here for 6 years, because they are unmatched! Most of the staff know us and our pup by name. When our dog had to have his tail medically amputated, they made a point to ask about him & give him extra love every time! We even got to adopt our sweet cat from them (with the help of mountain pet rescue). They truly care about their customers and their furry families! When the pandemic hit, they made changes to make pet food & supplies accessible to vulnerable populations. They are community minded and it shows - Can’t recommend enough! Thanks for being great <3

The staff working at this location are amazing. Molly has helped me several times and she is so sweet to my puppy. Last week I received a FREE care package for adopting my puppy from a shelter that contained food, treats, a supplement and pee pads. I was so amazed by their generosity. They have great selection of food and toys so I will definitely keep coming back.

Staff are always pleasant and helpful. They will order specific flavors of dog food for us if they do not have it in the size we need and have a great selection of better quality pet food. The toy selection is great and we absolutely love that they can easily look into the system to see prior purchase history.EtA: our older Boston for a while had stopped eating kibble and other foods she used to love. We were worried and were struggling to get her to eat. One of the staff there suggested a frozen stew and gave us a sample. She took to it and began to eat again. Though we were sad to have to let her go later, we believe that this staff member's suggestion gave us at least another precious year with our beloved girl.

Convenient store hours. We’ve called at 6:45pm and said we’d be arriving at 7:00 and they were sure to stay open to sell us the food we needed (sorry about that PAPC!). They let me use their bathroom during the Christmas parade. I’ve been able to get my dog some nice sweaters, bow tie and very cute dog bed here. They’re nice folks who aren’t too pushy..unless you ask them about diet.At first I wasn’t into the feeding the dog well. I had a Bassett mix that lived to darn near twenty on Alpo. But... either I’m making more money now and/or I’ve drunk the cool-aid. We feed both our dog and cat the high end stuff from this place. The dog immediately trimmed down and looks great. We might be feeding the cat too much, but he’s never had a urinary issue, which apparently is quite common in cats.I’ve never used this service, but I guess they have free delivery also.

This pet store is close to my house, but I’m pleasantly surprised at the variety of products they carry. I know I’ll find what I’m looking for coming here - and I’ll probably buy more things than I originally came in for. Dogs are allowed if leashed, and the staff give you treats for the dogs sometimes while always being able to offer a knowledgeable recommendation if you have questions. We are proud to call ourselves repeat customers!

Their knowledge of not only their products but animals in general is top notch, not to mention the clear passion they have for all animals :) Willie is an exceptional team member. Daisy the Boxer loves Patton Avenue Pet! Their staff is always friendly to her and her hooman. They also have warm fleece sweaters to fit her big boxer chest and barely furry belly! It's the perfect stretchy fleece to sleep or play in!

This is a very cool pet supply store with prices on the higher end as one might expect of an independent store selling less mass produced items. It caters somewhat heavily to dogs though you will find other products there as well. This is not like a PetSmart, if you are looking to find your regular litter, food or flea treatment supplies.

Visiting from out of town and stopped in to get a vest for my new pooch (cold that morning and his fur is very short). Willy took care of us with good advice on products and fit, etc.Willy noticed my dog straining at the leash and my struggling. He asked if I ever considered a harness and then went into a 10 minute session on the harness he liked and then demonstrated how to manage a dog that strains on the leash with my dog wearing the harness.I bought the harness as well and it was a life-changer! My dog no longer plays sled dog with me. Walks are pleasant and he is easy to control when he sees other dogs, squirrels, etc.Can't thank Willy enough. He is professional, knowledgeable and clearly loves dogs.The shop is awesome, too! Great stuff!

I was visiting from out of town and decided to get a gift for my cat’s gotcha day. This pet store had toys and various products I’ve never seen before in other stores, which was really exciting. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Prices seemed to be comparable to other pet shops. The store was very clean and well organized. They had a couple cats/kittens in the store that were available for adoption; they seemed well cared for. I will absolutely return next time I’m in town!
