I cannot say enough about the wonderful people working at this store. I went in a total mess with a newly diagnosed diabetic dog. The owner or the manager took time and researched all the foods to help him stay healthy. Very clean. All sorts of food and items for pets. Animals to adopt. Great prices and specials!!!!

With 3 locations, Patton Ave Pet is not your average pet store. Not only do they carry the highest quality food and treats, the staff is very informed around nutrition and addressing your pets unique needs. In addition to food and treats, you will find winter coats and sweaters, lots of quality toys, a beautiful (and fun) selection of collars and leashes, beds, blankets and so much more. They have a punch card and reward system for frequent flyers. Just so happy to have this resource in Asheville.

This is the same review that I left for the west location, but wanted to add that the downtown location is so convenient and it’s one of the only businesses downtown where parking is not an issue!So lucky to have these stores in my town! Nicest people in every location (though I mostly frequent downtown and West Asheville). Their food brands are highly researched and scrutinized for quality and the staff are always up to date when things change or good brands get sold etc. Not only does Patton Avenue Pat Company Make my pet ownership easier and better, but the fact that they are locally owned and highly ethical in their business practices makes me feel good supporting them and proud to have them in my backyard.

Hands down the most friendly, enjoyable, knowledgeable staff. The environment is welcoming, and the store is adorable! The frequent buyer programs that a lot of the pet food has have saved me hundreds over the years! They’ve offered help to my car with my pet food, I believe every time I’ve been there. The clothing and toys are super great quality. I highly recommend this locally owned, independent business!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They helped me find the right food for my cat when I wanted to switch to a higher quality weight management cat food. They always have sales and deals each month on different treats, toys and food. Thank you for providing quality products and quality staff. I won’t shop anywhere else for my babies. 5 stars.

This place is the best! Every location is staffed with friendly folks and it's clean as a whistle. We also enjoy the bath and bones location for bathing our friends disabled dog. Easy in, easy out! The owners are active and generous members of this community and genuinely care about animals!! I wish there were more stars to give!

The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! Came in to browse with my pup and found that the variety in the store was more than imagined from food, treats, toys, apparel and so much more. I was even given a sample of food additives for my picky boy that tends to skip meals. I will certainly be returning and would recommend to anyone with a pet!

I live up in NY, but my mom have lives in Weaverville for the past 8 years. Between her house and mine, we have lots a furbabies to spoil. Every time I visit, this is place is a MUST stop for us! Love the selection of toys and sooo many other useful supplies that I don't see in the stores up by me! It's worth every penny to pay for good quality items, be around awesome people who love their job, and to support such an awesome small local business. Absolutely love this place.

My grand-dog was coming for a visit and I wanted to get her some treats and tick repellent. Every single person was happy and helpful in this store and I got to visit with other customers lovely dogs. Will not shop elsewhere for pet supplies in Asheville! 💖

Decent selection but the girl with the nose ring up front was EXTREMELY rude. You can tell she didn't want to be at work. Maybe didn't like her job or something but I've never been treated so rudely at a public business. Won't be returning.

Would've liked to have seen more handmade or local items. Something that's not mass produced, so I was a little disappointed. It is a nice store and the first associate I spoke to was great and pointed me in the right direction.

We are visiting from out of state and didn’t realize our Great Dane jumped in the truck all ready to go for the day without her harness on. We stopped in, somewhat desperate, knowing it’s hard to find things for our big girl. They had exactly what we needed, loaned us a leash to bring her in, and fit her in the harness! They made great recommendations for some allergies she’s picked up, here in the south, and we snagged some treats! Great place! Truly had everything you could possible need (and want) for our furry best friend! And so friendly! Thank you, thank you!!

I've been meaning to swing by for years, and today I finally got the chance. The employees helped me find a good toy for my cat (she likes to eat most things, so it isn't the easiest task), were very nice, and talked to me about the cats they have in store that can be adopted. Adorable cats btw. Overall I had a good experience, I'd go back. Attached a photo of one of the adorable cats (and also the form that talks about them and adopting them).

Very helpful with our over-tried pups who were causing a bit of a ruckus. Went in to pick up dog food as we had run out on our trip they had small sizes and my dogs loved the chews I got them.

Very nice staff. I had some questions about some food options for my dog. I believe her name was Jessica and she was so kind and really took the time to talk with me about some products I was not familiar with. Love the inventory from toys, leashes, beds, rugs, treats and food. They have it all! The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. They spent time with us reviewing what food might work best for our pup. I love getting g a free bag of food after 10 purchases. A little pricey, but our pets are worth it!

We sure do love it here! Great staff took the time to help our timid pup get socialized and fitted for a harness. He loves the liver treats. Oh and we got a new jacket! Great quality.
