CLEAN! First and foremost a grocery store should be clean and this Ingles is. They also had something I have a very hard time finding: whole grain croissants! The selections in this store far surpass what's available in my local stores in Maryland. I enjoyed shopping here. They have a lot of registered with cashiers and plenty of self-check out lanes. they do not have a scan and shop as you go option as my local store has, but I'm finding many stores do not have this.

Same vibe as Publix. Love it! But come in day time cuz you get the freshest products around that time compared to late afternoons. Workers are quite amiable. Also if you wanna put gas, they also own a gas station with affordable price. ❤️

Woman making my sandwich had her cell phone (which on average carries 10x more bacteria than a toilet seat) on the cutting board inches from where my sandwich was being made. I told her it was kinda gross and she said "oh" and picked it up and continued to carry the phone around in her gloved hand as she worked. I've also had employees at this location do nasty things like tie up their hair with a scrunchy they just had in their mouth with gloves on, and then proceed to start making my sandwich with those same gloves on. I've worked in food for a long time and I know what happens behind the scenes. But come on do you really have to be so unhygienic in front of customers?

Clean gas center, friendly employees, hot coffee, and clean restrooms. Exit was a little difficult due to the angle. Do not use the middle entrance/exit if you have a large vehicle.

Always Love one being right around the corner. The Subs are INCREDIBLE. They also have just about everything you could ever need. Their Cheese selection is the best in town and they always have the best selection of local and imported Beers. I love their energy drink selections. Thank you for always being anywhere I need you.

First off its an old smallee building(realative) with a baren parking lot and no shade. Some of the fridges were broken so i couldnt get what i wanted. And i thought there was a probpem with my recepit and i felt like it taking 50 cents or so from me so i brought it up to the staff and then the manager came. She was incredibly rude and annoyed that i wanted to make sure my receipt was correct. I know its just 50 cents but at 10$ an hour thats 4 mintues of work so i thought it be worth making sure. But she made me feel rude to ask which isnt ok. Im never going back to this ingels...its the worst one in town anyways

Good store. It is a little expensive in some areas, but it is the Hometown grocery store.I'm there every damned day for something out of convenience. At this point, I think I've bought Bob's family a yacht and 2 cars. 🙄

I haven't had the opportunity to shop an Ingles but it's basically a Winn-Dixie for those of you who know that grocery store chain. I had no issues with this location although I didn't see any fresh seafood.

Done shopping at this location. 30% of the items on the shelf are expired. The produce section is old and rotten. I couldn’t find any cherry tomatoes or red onions that weren’t rotting today. The self checkout is slow and throws too many errors.

Went there because it’s the closest. Shocked at the prices-they seem higher than the other (much larger and BETTER) Weaverville location. Wanted to grab something for dinner, but between the prices and smaller selection, and having to notify an employee of a mess still by the produce department (looked like a previous attempt was made to clean it up, but still bad), I got a very few things (CHECK PRODUCE, MEAT QUALITY, EXPIRATION DATES ALWAYS, PEOPLE!!!) and left. Very unlikely to return.

Great neighborhood store. Good selection...poor restocking on some items. Need more training for cashiers. Staff is very unprofessional and not helpful. At night they gang up at the front and you can't get any help. Sad to see how far the front of store service has declined since Bob Ingles death.

Are grandson wanted a cupcake so we stopped at Ingles in search of one! The staff was amazing! Ronnie helped us locate our item and then helped us on our way. Thank you Ronnie we appreciate you.

A basic and pretty generic supermarket. No one to ask for help in the aisles. Lots of help wanted signs up front. They can use some. The prices were shocking. More expensive than my hometown of Knoxville. Good selection on most items. Friendly check out service.

Gluten Free frozen section is unlike any other store I’ve been to in 15 years of GF living !!! Kudos!! Please keep these items on the shelf!! From Flakey Croissants & pretzels to GF Deep Dish Pizza!!!!

No nonsense grocery store. Nothing fancy but they had everything we were looking for. The store is clean which is a plus. It is not fun to go to a dirty grocery store. We were traveling so this absolutely met our needs. Not sure if there is a better store in the area, but you would not go wrong shopping at this store.

The self check-out machines are out-of-date compared to other Ingles locations and the front-end staff was very rude when we had issues checking out. Will shop at other locations but do not plan to return to this one!

Ingles markets has always been my personal favorite & first, to go to grocery chain... I've always had a simple & pleasant experience when shopping with them. The store is always very clean & organized. And during the past 15, or possibly 20 years shopping at Ingles, thier grocery items haven't ever changed thier location inside the store!! I could go shopping with my eyes closed & have absolutely no problem walking straight to every item that i need. They have a great selection to choose from & over the years, shopping at my local Ingles store has been a consistent part of my daily routine. Thier produce, deli & bakery departments, are very clean, neat & tidy. Especially the store located in Mars Hill, NC!! Looks like a picture out of a grocery magazine. Bathrooms are usually clean & smell clean as well. So, overall, the parking & their ridiculous hike in prices, would be my only issues with my local Ingles store. The parking lot needs to be bigger!! It always seems to be super crowded!! And last but not least, I literally can not go shopping there without spending atleast $50!! That's only the case at the Ingles in Burnsville, NC... It's ridiculous!! And the prices here, verses the Ingles in the next town over, are very different! They're higher here!!! My husband & I have found it to be alot cheaper for us to drive to the Ingles in Spruce Pine, Mars Hill or even Weaverville. It's only a 20 minute drive from our home & we've happily been saving a few $'s & enjoying the scenic route also....

Good store for a quick run to get some staple items, like heavy cream for coffee and meats. The produce is not always as fresh as the produce at the Weaverville Boulevard location.

I’m not from the area and not familiar with the Ingles markets. This store was close to where I was staying and if it’s a representation of the rest of the stores, I’m impressed. It was clean, well-organized and had a friendly staff. There was a large beer and wine selection and had everything that we needed. I would definitely shop here often if I lived in the area.

Whoever the young lady making subs on 4/12/22 around 3 PM, made the best Italian I've ever had from Ingles. I know how hard it can be to find great employees and that's one of them. Genuinely great experience during a rainy,cold day. Hopefully management has an eye out.Thanks!
