I use the breakfast hotbar often but recently it's being handled by team members who simply hate their job. Yesterday (Saturday morning) the burners were left off and the meal was cold. Today the hash brown casserole was not completely cooked with raw potatoes and the southern grits with cheese was unsalted and flavorless. I had to throw away roughly half of my breakfast and the price has really gone up recently. The garbage is overflowing in the eating area. There doesn't seem to be much quality control going on here.

Was a big checkout line as winter weather may be on the way, but the staff expedited the self checkout line 😀 and I was able to get out after 12 hours in an 18 wheeler..This weekend was good also except for some prices.

Incredibly surprised for all us Vegetarian/Pescatarian/Vegan dietary restrictions. I tried taking photos showcasing these and other Organic options at this location, along with prices. Overall, very happy to see them be competitive and give shoppers another choice.

We came from out of town on a work trip and were shopping for a house of ten. Upon seeing our big haul, checkout attendant, Braeden gave us tons of recommendations for places to go and things to do. He went above and beyond in his customer service. Great location and had everything we needed.

First time ever at a Harris Teeter and must say I'm impressed by the selection. Definitely a higher quality super market. They had my delicious and rare Belgian Beers. Great selection of snacks, too. Their fresh food selection is also lush. Perfectly located in the gorgeous downtown Asheville. Also plenty of parking, which is nice for a very busy area. Definitely recommend this place.

First time visiting this place, and absolutely loved it. I’m from out of town, so we just stopped in the get a few things thinking this was just another grocery chain. Boy we were wrong. This place was awesome from the moment we walked in. Very beautiful well organized store, and a very friendly staff. We left with more then we needed, and two fresh hand made piazza we tore up that night. Wish this chain was further south ...

I needed some elk, bison, and grass fed beef for a special recipe for our son. I couldn’t find the elk, but a wonderful employee, who knew exactly where everything should be, went above and beyond by taking out every package in the frozen elk row and found what I needed!Then, the young man at checkout was not only very pleasant and efficient, he actually did a perfect job of bagging the food! I had watched him bag for 2 other customers before me and he was careful with the produce and the more delicate items like eggs and bread!I wish I had paid attention to their names! This occurred on Sunday morning —the first gentleman was a tall man with light colored hair and the cashier had dark hair. I hope that management will thank them for me!

I love this store, but don't often have the opportunity to shop here. Their produce is fresh and organic, and they have a wide selection of brand items. I was looking for wanton and eggroll wrappers which were hard to find. Fortunately, they have very friendly and helpful employees who redirected my search. 'Eggrolls and cream cheese/jalapeño wantons for the Super Bowl. Woohoo!'

I frequent this HT and always have a great experience! It's clean and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. Last Friday 6/30 in the morning I visited the store and wanted to compliment Becky who was working the self check-out registers. I was actually in a cashier line next to the self check-out, but witnessed an interaction she had with another customer. The gentlemen came to the self check-out line very annoyed, stating that the other cashier lines were taking too long (they weren't that long I think he was just incredibly impatient). He was now upset that something was wrong with his self-checkout register and very annoyed that he had to even stoop to the level of ringing up his own groceries. Becky was at his kiosk within seconds of his issue and was actively helping him through the entire process of ringing up his groceries. He acted incredibly rude and entitled and was not very nice to Becky. Becky kept her positive and professional demeanor throughout that entire interaction. I stopped and spoke to her after the man left and let her know that he was wrong for speaking to her like that and thanked her for doing such a wonderful job. Just wanted to make sure that she gets recognized and to let her know that while that man wasn't so kind many others appreciate her hard work. Thank you Becky and hope to see you again in the store soon!

Had pizza & dessert at this location today. Both were excellent. Delux pizza had a variety of toppings & had wood fired goodness. Crust was excellent. Desserts are so good here. It’s worth going just for them. This is a supermarket, so people are here for all kinds of reasons. Even when you are here just for lunch, you have to go through the regular checkout line. There is no deli register, as you find in some supermarket deli/bakeries. It was a bit of a pain waiting through the regular line while customers checked out buggies full of groceries just to eat lunch, but overall I’m glad I went. Deli seating at the front offers counters with plugs for your devices & wifi. They were out of napkins when k went. Overall good experience.

When I couldn’t find an item I was looking for, I spoke with an employee named Jim Landoff and he was extremely helpful. Not only did he search for the item in the store, he contacted other stores and offered to go pick it up if they had it. We found out the item is no longer being made, but I will never forget how professional, kind, and helpful Jim was. He truly went above and beyond! You are lucky to have him at Harris Teeter!

Great store especially compared to competition. We shop specialty stores as well but HT has a diverse selection and is very clean and organized. My husband sings praises about Charles in the meat/seafood dept. Extremely knowledgable and pesonable and goes the extra mile in customer service. Kudos to Charles. Staff in pizza also great. Absolutely love this store. " Cat" is amazing customer service rep. Store is immaculate, well stocked and great prices (not price gouging) like many. I drive from Georgia to shop at "Teeters " always find cool stuff I never find anywhere else. Met a wine rep named Zach today who was awesome and the wine and beer department is excellent !!!

I enjoy shopping at Harris Teeter in Asheville for many reasons. The store is clean well stocked and people are helpful.I also find they have things I can't find at other local grocery stores. Yesterday however they outdid themselves. I ordered the Valentine's Day meal for 2 and it was a delight in every way! The steak cooked perfectly and everything so good and easily reheated. And best part $30. Thank you Harris Teeter for a truly Restaurant quality meal at an affordable price.

I was wanting to go to HT but literally no where to park. None. I let my wife go in and waited in the car. I literally counted 32 people park and walk across to Trader Joe’s in 15 minutes. Even pushing carts . Crazy. TJ needs to step up and figure their parking out

I think Harris Teeter has the best meat in town. Their prices are the best when the items are on sale. The Harris Teeter label almond milk is also the best and the cheapest. They have great sales every week. The salad bar has great tasting mixed salads. The store features a hot bar with many great items.

Who is the hiring manager?? My partner and I were in the wine section and got whistled and shoo’d at by an employee. We look up and a worker is there dusting the floor with his AirPods in. That worker sweeping the floor WHISTLED at us, said “hey guys” and made the shooing gesture. I think the word you’re looking for is excuse me?? He then said “I’m coming right back around” as a way of telling us to not get in his way. I see him dusting the floor in another area where a customer is at and he just sweeps the floor around the guy. Why the did he have such a problem with us? Why the disrespect? Why the whistle?

I live very close to this store and am super grateful it’s here. It’s got great variety, fair prices and it’s well maintained. I order ahead at the deli through the app.The store is owned by Krogers so they have access to everything you might need. The six self-checkout registers make checking out a breeze. The only downside is there is no Apple Pay so you need to remember to bring a credit card.
