Even one star is far too generous for this store. By far the rudest customer service ever. All of them. Highly recommend going to a different cvs. There’s at least 5 more around. Any other one has to be better than the bad attitudes here. You ask ONE question you’re either met with immediate attitude, or they’re smirking in your face.

We have been forced to do business with CVS due to a contract with insurance from an employer. I've despised CVS for years due to lack of competence. Thanksgiving and I have bronchitis now! You can't get through to do anything without talking to get there. I asked for meds to be sent to another location because it is closer for me and I'm unsure of how they got to that location to begin with. Person on the phone told me to call that location ... Are u serious, u hear how I sound and want me to call them too?? What happened to some simple freaking compassion?? Yeah, they haven't changed a bit ...

I have used this pharmacy over the last 8 years since I have moved to the area. Over the last year the service here has become terrible. If I call to ask a question at times they just leave me on hold for 30+ mins until I have to drive there to ask my question. Today, I called with a question and the lady I spoke with was a complete smart a** over the genuine question I asked. Many time I come in and there is this one man with long hair and a beard and there will be 4 other women there and they will literally ignore everyone and expect him to handle all of it. They work him into the ground like a dog. It is so unfair to him the way they treat him. The ladies there are typically condescending and annoyed with having to talk to people and just do their jobs. One lady will sit on the computer and do her best to not even look up while the man has people lined up at the drop off and pick up line in the store, as if we all cannot see she is intentionally trying to act like she doesn't see the man working there needs help. This place has become ridiculous. After my next appt for refills of my meds, I am going to inform my doctor I want to transfer to Walgreens that is 2 extra miles away. I would much rather drive a couple of miles, than deal with the downright rude women that work at this location.

Terrible Pharmacy. I was not shocked when I saw all the other negative reviews. The staff in the pharmacy besides one person are hateful. I asked a question about my son's medication and I had a pharmacy employee tell me yesterday "I don't have the time to explain this to you." I'm switching back to my old pharmacy. Do not go there if you wanted to be treated with any shred of decency.

CVS has so much to offer! Personal care items, cosmetics, cleaning supplies, pet care, seasonal decor and so much more. This CVS location has a drive thru pharmacy. So convenient! I'm told that this CVS is the busiest in the south east. You might have to wait if you don't call your scripts in ahead of time. They've taken great care regarding sanitation due to C19. They're completely handicap compliant.

Every single staff member here is rude. You ask a question and they have an attitude. I came right before close the other night & couldn't find an employee anywhere. I didn't see an employee for over 15 minutes. She was also rude. Close the whole store and train them again at this point. The attitude are nasty.

The Pharmacy is a nightmare. I’ve used CVS for so many years and I hate to leave, however, their consistent issues at this location have left me without medications that I can’t skip simply because they lack the ability to “get it together”. Seems I’m not the only one, and that’s just sad. Customer service is a dying art.

All of the staff here are rude but 2 people!!!! I can't remember the 2 girls names but I absolutely love them and you'll know if you run across them!!♡♡♡♡ they're always down to help and answer any** questions you have. They will always try and help get you the lowest price of meds if you dont have insurance. There's and older lady that is usually working the window that doesn't like doing anything and is always rude to me. Everytime I call they're quick to hang-up. I never really write reviews but it was about time because I'm just fed up with these people.

My wife and I recently moved to Asheville, and began using the pharmacy at CVS on Smokey Park Highway. I generally don’t view a visit to a pharmacy as an especially pleasant experience, but as the cliché goes, there is a first time for everything. Indeed, merely describing my visit as "pleasurable" fails to do justice to the pharmacist, Jessica, and her team. Jessica is not onlyeminently qualified and helpful, but she has created a culture of professionalism and excellence throughout the pharmacy which makes the customer feel valued. Pharmacies freely speak ofcustomer service, and this CVS delivers it! Stated succinctly, Jessica is a consummate professional, and her entire team emulates her exemplary example. I could continue withsuperlatives, but far better to visit this pharmacy and experience customer service at its best.

Wow…I just called the cvs asking if they have a clinic and I don’t think a person working in a pharmacy has ever been so rude…then she abruptly hung up in a bed roll your eyes kind of way and made me not feel so good.

2/4/24 1:00 pmThe 2 girls at the front have no interest in their jobs. Their faces and voices showed their apathy and disinterest in helping customers. Both were leaning on the counter on their phones.

I have had terrible experiences with the pharmacy here, similar to what all the other reviews for this location are saying, however I had a great experience today when I went in to get a flu shot. I was greeted as soon as I walked up and was helped shortly after. The woman at the pharmacy register was working really hard to get everyone taken care of promptly, and also maintained a very friendly attitude. The pharmacist, Natalie, was particularly helpful with a form I needed and the woman administering the shot was also nice. This is the literal opposite of what I usually encounter---I appreciate it and really hope they stick around!

Ana Rose, the store manager, gave me an attitude when I asked for something to be corrected that was priced incorrectly than what the item rang up as. It was a dollar difference, but it doesn't matter. I have been in this store 4 times in a short period and 3 out of the 4 times have been bad experiences. This manager is arrogant to say the least. They definitely need new management. I will not go back until it changes.

Look, I hate to be negative, and if you read my reviews I can typically find a bright side. But I’m sorry, this CVS location is the armpit of the pharmaceutical universe. They are consistently understaffed, and the staff they are able to briefly keep are almost always inattentive, unhelpful, and outside of the confines of the pharmacy, very difficult to find. The sad part is, once you finally find one, they are so unbelievably rude that you wish you hadn’t.Save yourself some heartache and shop someplace else. Literally. Any. Place. Else.

I had an amazing experience in the pharmacy. Very nice young man. But the big boy up front was hateful. I used self check out so I would have to talk to him anymore. He was rude and disrespectful.

Pharmacy department refused to refill a prescription for my family member. Clearly says it has refills left printed on the bottle and refused to contact provider, they tried contacting them on a Saturday (when they are closed) and immediately canceled the order altogether.

mostly use the drive through. was given someone else's medication once and returned it immediately. total waste of paper on the receipts as we all know but if you use coupons, the stacking option is still great. I am not a total fan though, of the new check out stations, as one is never working.

As someone who has had 3 major surgeries in the last few years, multiple infections, and on consistent meds, I’ve had to fill a lot of prescriptions, been to a lot of pharmacies, gotten upset, gotten denied meds, and at this point I think I’m a pharmacy pro. From what I’ve observed, the people in the pharmacy seem to always be working hard and running around getting stuff filled. They helped me find a discount code when my insurance didn’t cover my meds and they cost $400 out of pocket. I like that when I call I get a person quickly when I’m checking on my meds. I moved here from California and did a lot of research choosing one in the area. I found that most pharmacies get bad ratings but I don’t think the ones given to this one are justified. With any pharmacy, people need to understand that you need to go at less busy times if you can and also know that sometimes you will need to come back again. Plan for that and don’t just sit around and complain. Also, the state and your insurance company have weird rules and it’s not the pharmacy. They would get fired if they don’t follow what they are supposed to. Unless this place is slammed, I’ve always had an above average experience. I’m grateful for everyone that works here and has helped me.

My experience at this particular CVS is consistently horrible. Lazy staff who were extremely rude when I had to search the store for 10 minutes to find someone to help me. They yelled at me when I peaked through the door of the employee area as I couldn’t find any employees, but that’s not the worst part. The Pharmacy staff including the pharmacist have been condescending for multiple attempts now, you cannot ask questions without them being rude, their automated system for refills never works, I came in after responding to a text about a refill and coming in on the instructed date to find no refill, they said they would fill it right away. I sat in front of the counter for 30-45 minutes and when I finally asked them about it she said she had been paging me. Anyone with costumer service skills would see that I’m sitting 2 feet away and can’t hear you and would just call my name. Additionally, they consistently try to overrule my doctor as we try new medication, and refuse to fill the prescription saying “I can’t use that medication” last I checked my MD knows more about my situation than the pharmacist who doesn’t even know my name… They have also lied to me about pricing on my medication. Arguing with me, saying I can’t afford to fill the prescription since my insurance won’t cover it. My insurance never covers it and I always pay about $400 a month for the meds, she told me it would be $600 and I told her to fill it since I can’t live without it, when she finally obliged, it rang in at $390. On the next visit she told me I had no refills avilable and would have to see my doctor, my doctor confirmed she sent 12 months of refills and we had only used one. My husband went inside and was able to use a refill of mine without issue, seeing the male team member. We have now pulled our families prescriptions from this location. CVS is my preferred pharmacy for my insurance and we have found that our prescriptions are still more affordable elsewhere. This location is a joke, which is sad as I have used other cvs locations for the last 20 years and they have always been helpful, but this team needs to be reallocated to stocking shelves overnight because in a consumer facing job, without any reprocussion, they will continue to disappoint, and had it not been for the persistence of my doctor their inadequacies in the pharmacy could have very well cost me more than an ER visit that day.

Terrible service! I visit CVS while at work on a daily basis as they carry the energy drink I like and is a convenient location to use the restroom. This CVS requires an employee to hold your hand to the restroom and unlock it for you. No big deal, except I waited 10 minutes after asking the employee for him to come unlock it and it never happened. Complete waste of time! I will never visit this CVS again.

The pandemic and staffing shortages certainly have impacted this location of CVS (it closes early and also the drive-thru is closed for half an hour at lunch, from 1:30 to 2 pm). Overall, though, this CVS does a good job. Staffers are friendly. I'd continue to cut them a break due to circumstances beyond their control.

Chose this location because they had the booster and a good time slot. Got stuck in some traffic so I tried to call. Stayed on hold for 12 minutes with the most ear piercing awful music I have ever heard. So, if CVS wanted me to have a really annoying experience- they made that very easy. The one star is for the nice employees TRYING to provide a pleasant experience.

If I could give this place a 0, I would. We are from out of town and had a prescription called in. I got an alert saying it was ready. Then they said the power flickered and their systems shut down. They said they couldn’t look through the bins manually to find ours. I had all of the info, even the cost for them. They refused to help us. They had JUST filled it too.

Despite being one of the busiest pharmacies I've ever done business with I have to say that the service I have received here from their first day of business until now has been commendable, if not exemplary. It's clear that the pharmacy is stretched thin and that turnover is high, however, with few exceptions over the years, the attitude, helpfulness and attentiveness of the pharmacy staff at large is always beyond my expectations, which are high. The problem I have witnessed over the years can be traced, I believe, to overly demanding people who have no patience for contending with a business so busy. Prescriptions can rarely be completed in just a few minutes--because they are so busy. You have to wait a few minutes to speak with a pharmacist--because they are so busy. You might have to wait in line for a while--because they are so busy.Because I understand how busy they are and, subsequently see the expressed anger of so many customers, I try to be cordial and understanding of these very busy people trying to do their jobs. I appreciate their efforts and I tell them that every time I visit. This is a very busy place (Did I already say that?). If your expectation is to not have to wait and to have your prescriptions filled in just a couple of minutes then you will probably be best served by going to a lower-volume store or a different business altogether.A little patience, tolerance and understanding goes really far.I can report that I have had only a few problems with pharmacy to doctor communication. My experience is similar with the running out of the medication I need. But these things happen everywhere and are not unique to CVS and other pharmacies.I have no complaints about the service I've received at this CVS location.

This is a terrible pharmacy. They used to be 24 hours but changed. They are incredibly slow, I stood and waited for an hour after they told me they had to refill a prescription because the label was incorrect… then they told me I had to wait another hour to fill it. They did not communicate that I needed a PA for one med. I called my doctor, they sent in the accepted PA, but the pharmacy still refused to fill my prescription. My doctor called and explained what to do, and they said they’d have my prescription ready in an hour. When I went to pick it up, they still refused to refill it. The staff was incredibly rude and refused to listen to me attempt to understand where communication broke down. Literally any other pharmacy is better than this one.

This is seriously the worst pharmacy I have EVER dealt with. I had medication called in and I waited almost 2 hours to pick it up. When I go in to pick it up the girl working the front counter insisted they had not received any medication orders for me. I repeated to her it had been called in. She only checked the computer and then would not return to the front counter to discuss this but left me trying to speak loudly across the pharmacy while she was 2 counters back. I left out of frustration and had prescription filled elsewhere. They called me 2 days later saying my medication was ready. I will not use this pharmacy anymore.

Simply put…this is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. No concern for customer safety. It’s absolutely brilliant that you close the drive thru and require customers to come inside a pharmacy where the employees don’t wear masks properly, the mask mandate isn’t being informed, no social distancing and a high Delta infection rate. How safe is this for your customers? It’s not! Forcing immune compromised customers into your store is a genius idea. While you are at it I suggest you tell all you customers to not wear masks also. As you clearly aren’t enforcing the local mask mandate. The excuse you use is we are short staffed. The whole country is short staffed. They aren’t closing their drive thrus. In fact, they are encouraging it. Imigine how safe the interior of you building is with customers not wearing masks, or social distancing. How is this safer then allowing your customers to stay in the safety of their own vehicles where they are completely safe. Closing a drive thru and forcing people into your store is simply put not the safest option. Kudos to the manager who though this was the best solution.Furthermore most of the pharmacy staff is rude and arrogant. I have witnessed HIPAA violations where the pharmacy staff has spoken about a customers condition, and drug reactions in the ear shot of other customers so all can hear. Twice in the last year my prescriptions have been incorrectly filled. The pharmacist isn’t even counting pills They should be reported to the state pharmacy board for such errors.Additionally, no one answers the phone. Even selecting the provider option, you still wait at least 30 minutes.Don’t waist your time at this pharmacy. I’d recommend using the Walgreens down the street. Where They always know your name and are brilliant!

If I knew how to give a (-5 Star) on this review I would! Hands down the worst company and their worst location anywhere! My wife who is a school teacher takes a medication that she requires on a daily basis. This location has messed up the same prescription 4 times in less than 60 days!! If you didn't think such a thing was possible...IT IS!! These people should not be allowed to keep the doors open! I worry about the safety of the general public with this caliber of customer service or rather the lack thereof. I WOULD NEVER recommend this company and especially this location to my worst enemy!! This is the first of many "major fail" reviews that I will be posting across various sites. Strongly recommend NOT even considering CVS or any of their affiliates!!!! Oh and this has nothing to do with "manpower" or the pandemic like they would like to use as their scapegoat!!!! Completely UNSATISFIED in everyday imaginable!!!!!!
