I've been aware of B&B for many years but, it was never in a convenient location, for me.Then, when I needed a walker for my wife to use after her then scheduled; hip replacement surgery, B&B Pharmacy was very convenient.They had exactly what we were looking for and it was a very positive experience!

I drive two hours to this pharmacy because my hometown does not always have my medication and B&B Pharmacy always has my medicine and are very friendly it’s a great pharmacy and I especially love the “God Books” they have near the register I always get something….they are very well worth the trip and no matter how busy there’s never a time wait. Awesome place thanks guys see u next month!

My in-laws were visiting over the long weekend, and I needed to rent a wheelchair. B&B pharmacy was by far the cheapest, and everyone I interacted with were incredibly nice. Highly recommend!We used it at an Asheville Tourists ball game, at the Arboretum, walking along the Greenway, and through one gallery at RAD.

Errands to a pharmacy are not usually a super pleasant experience, but going to B&B never feels like a chore! The pharmacists remember who I am and are super friendly and kind, and they have candy for sale for like 15 cents like corner stores in the good old days! The lady at the check out counter always greets me warmly when I come in, and they’ve never made a fuss about coming in with my service dog (you’d be surprised how many establishments give me a hard time when he clearly wears a vest).I’m so grateful they are still around when so many independent pharmacies have fallen in the wake of giant corporate ones. Please choose them!!

I went to B&B for a year and they were great. I called the other day, letting them know not to fill any new prescriptions as I moved and was getting a prescription called into a pharmacy closer to my house. They asked if it was permanent, and I stated I still work in Asheville, indicating that using my prescriptions on file is still likely. They stated they would suspend my prescriptions, which I didn’t understand fully at the time. I called back later to see if I could get a prescription on file filled, and they stated they suspended all my prescriptions. I just felt like as soon as they heard I was using an additional pharmacy, they cut me off. I’m sure that wasn’t the intent, but now I’m not even sure if I can get prescriptions sent there. I had important prescriptions on hold, and I don’t see the harm in keeping those on hold if they are still valid.

I highly recommend this business! It is one of the few left that goes out of their way to help anyway possible. I drive several miles to get first quality service and the brand of medicine that other chain stores didn't try help me with!! No matter how busy they take time to speak and treat you like they appreciate your patronage.

B&B pharmacy is hands down the best pharmacy in Asheville and frankly the best pharmacy I’ve ever used from anywhere in the country. The staff is friendly, kind, patient & down to earth. Very laid back vibe. This is the exact opposite of Walgreens’s & CVS. And they will fill prescriptions for unusual medications whereas the chain drug stores won’t. They also deliver! Heaven on earth. Can’t say enough about B&B Pharmacy.

It’s the day before Xmas and all through the house, people were wishing the woman with the broken knee had a wheelchair so she could do some things for herself. Called B&B. They had one. It is so nice to be able to use a locally owned pharmacy rather than a sterile chain. The people who work here are ALWAYS helpful, friendly and kind and go out of their way to take care of one's needs. They always seem to know there clientele personally and are very knowledgeable about the medicines/pharmaceuticals they sell. As well it is just such a homey environment, comfortable and pleasant. We are sooo lucky to have them here in West Asheville.

My family has traded with this pharmacy for decade's my grandmother would pitch a fit if we went anywhere else. They have everything you could ever need. Very friendly people and respectful. You can't go wrong with B&B and a good location.

I had been using CVS for the longest time because they were 24 hours and I am the worst about forgetting I need an Rx filled until the last second. But now CVS isn't 24 hours anymore so I switched but let me just say that I didn't realize how bad the service was at CVS until I started using B and B. I call, speak with a real human in less than a minute, who is happy to speak with me and can have my prescription filled in 10 minutes if I need it. They're happy to deliver anything I need if I can't come to pick it up. They are closed on Sundays but its because they have a small staff that is always there to help. I can't recommend these guys enough. STOP USING CORPORATE PHARMACIES IF YOU CAN Y'ALL! B and B is the real deal.

I am from out of town and visited the west side Ashville today. Innitially when i walked into B&B Pharmacy I thought it was neat, it reminded me of the pharmacy i used to go to when I was a child. I knew I was in a not-so-good area. I have my degree in Social work and do many social experiments (for my own personal growth and to decide where I should be spending my money, even though its only a bottle of water that I wanted to purchase) when I am in certain places because I'm well aware of how people "on the system" are not treated equally. So, I asked the women working behind the counter if they accept EBT cards (mind you, i was clean and in a nice dress) and was told (quote) We certaintly don't (end quote). Yes, some people cheat the system, but there are many who truly need the assistance....nobody deserves to be judged based on whether they have EBT or not you never know until you walk in someone elce's shoes💜

These guys are great & local. While the Chains will make you a purchase a full pack of some med, B&B will break it down and sell only what is needed. How many of the Chains will greet you by name when you walk in?
