The ONLY place i shop for kitty supplies in Asheville for years! They have been around for ever and really care about the customer plus our pet needs. They go ABOVE AND BEYOND being friendly, helpful, kind, and I always leave with a huge smile on my face!!!!Support a small local bussiness...forget the rest. They even help you when your car breaks down in the middle of a hot summer by being kind, offering shade, and water, and letting you work out your car issues.All the employees there are the best and keep me smiling. And the decor is so fun. They used to have some wonderful shop cats but now there is shop fish. lolGo here as a local the vibes are immaculate!!! I hope they stay in bussiness fureverrrrrr.....And all the staff needs raises for being the best all the time.

Owner operator is highly knowledgeable and super helpful. Came in to get a wide selection of single cans of cat food to try new brands and flavors with my 2 cats, both of which have specific dietary needs. Was guided to a number of options, came away with over 15 different cans to try. Excited to go back with my cat's reviews and see what we can figure out for bulk ordering

This pet supply shop is exactly what we have been looking for over the past couple of years. It was recommended to us by a friend and we sure are glad that we have started shopping there. We had grow weary of all the pet supply shops in Asheville which seem to either fall into the category of huge, corporate big-box store approach to pet supplies or small, local "let me tell you all about my politics and/or worldview and make sure that yours are the same before I serve you", which is just exhausting.These folks have a great selection of pet products and are super friendly. The store is not so bid that you get lost and yet we have found everything that we have gone in searching for...and then some. They have a particularly good selection of elk antlers for our large doge to use as chews.We could not be happier with their store and their staff. I highly recommend these folks.

I have been going to Asheville Pet Supply for two years and have always had a good experience. The staff is extremely knowledgeable on pet nutrition and always happy to help and answer questions. They truly care for you and your pet. When you are in the store you feel the family environment. I highly recommend this store for your pets!

I love the people who work here. Everyone is so helpful and nice. When I first adopted my cat, one of the owners (I'm guessing) gave me a toy to try to get my cat used to our home. I also love that they have never tried selling me their most expensive brands. Great selection of foods that are hard to find.

I loved this little shop during my Asheville trip! I stopped here a few times to come back for more. They helped me find a paw itch spray and I also discovered a new type of easily digestible / fair made rawhide for my pup. The staff are so friendly and they really care. I even learned something new related to allergies and food choices for my furbaby. I can't wait to go back there again on my next trip to the area!

Awesome place...... great variety. I drive from a state over to buy my dogs food at Asheville Pet Supply. One hour there and one hour back home and it's truly worth the drive. The staff is very knowledgeable. It's almost unbelievable how much some if them know about each product they carry.

This store keeps a lot of pet items, especially food for special diets, that you'd otherwise get through mail order. Prices are reasonable and staff seems knowledgeable. Parking isn't ideal, but I'm nitpicking. Definitely would recommend!

Always a pleasure to make a trip to Asheville Pet Supply. I've been going there for years. If you care about your pet's health, Asheville Pet Supply will surely have healthy food and treat options for you whether you have a cat, dog, or small animal (rabbit, hamster, etc.) Mary, Keith and Ashley (sp?) truly care about the health of your animal companion and happily inform and educate their clients. This is an independently owned store that is all about the owner. Extremely knowledgeable of dog and cat foods and will take the time to help you select the right food especially if there is special dietary situation with your critter. Highly recommended.

I called around looking to buy a plastic flea comb for my cat. They were sold out but had promotion ones behind the counter and they gifted to me free. True animal lovers. A real treasure for North Asheville, Woodfin and Weaverville!Mary the owner is very knowledgeable and directed us to a great vet when our cat had intestinal lymphoma.She carries all healthy kinds of pet food and I have found that her prices are cheaper than what I can find on line.Love this store and the owner! Absolutely the best pet supply store I have ever found. They feature the an incredible array of high quality foods, supplements, herbal and homeopathic remedies, grooming products, toys and beds. The staff, however, are so knowledgable and helpful that you will find yourself also stopping in for tips and advice at every decision point involving your pet. They help us be better caretakers.
