Wonderful little thrift store with a great cause! I loved that not only did they have clothes and normal thrift store things, but they also had used animal things like leashes and collars. I got a new hardness and collar for my pup for $6!? both look brand new. that easily would’ve costed $50-60 brand new.

Just popped in this morning to take a look. They are trying to pass off a double strand of fake pearls as real for $265.Cheating the public is not a good idea. Maybe they should get people who know how to tell real from fake when they are pricing things. Plus the place seems super expensive for a thrift store.

I absolutely love this store and the employees! I'm always welcome to bring my dog in and they give him treats and are so kind. Their prices are doable as well and they have really cool stuff. Definitely go check them out

Went here for the first time and was not let down! Had no problems with staff and the prices were great. I bought a dress shirt, a skirt, a pair of shorts, and a pair of jeans all for only $12! 100% would recommend!

This review is for the Oakley, Fairview Rd. location. A small store but a nice variety of merchandise and as others have said, clean and well organized, with great prices. People with low incomes can actually buy things here, and the quality is decent. Staff seems friendly enough and who doesn't like benefiting animals? Keep it up A.H.S., and don't go the way of Goodwill and the Rescue Mission; continue to bless your community!

No public restrooms. Not very family friendly. Had to walk my child across the shopping center to Ace to use their restroom andbuy something I didn’t really need at Ace. It didn’t feel right to use their restroom without patronizing their store.I guess it’s ok for the Humane Thrift to let their neighbors pay the “thousands of dollars” it costs to have public restroomsInstead of them. It’s almost like stealing from your neighbors. If people need to go, they have to go somewhere.

I enjoy stopping in the River ridge location of the Asheville Humane Society Thrift Store!It's a super nice place. There's no clutter. All of their items are displayed in a very organized way. That's a breath of fresh air for a thrift store!They always have a rack of clothing in the front that's one dollar per item. I've found a lot of nice things there! Also, every Wednesday is 1/2 price day!!!This is a really nice thrift store. They have 2 sweet little birds beside the check out counter. The people who work there are always very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend you stop by and see for yourself!

Over priced. Every time I go it's the same ol and way more expensive than other thrifts. Also I don't know who runs this but it's just not well run. I had a woman try to get in front of me and I told her I was in line. She got very close behind me and was being pushy (literally bumping into me) after I waited a long time for other customers to check out. When I asked for the item I wanted in the display case she jumped in front of me again and the cashier who heard it all took her! Then she started walking around shopping while she was rung up! I don't know if they know each other or what but it was shockingly unprofessional. Not shopping here again

Rude man working when I dropped donations just before noon today. Didn't encounter anyone as I placed my first box of donations. I returned with two table lamps and placed them on the floor to the left. As I'm setting the two lamps on the floor I hear something to my right. I guess the man had just barked "table" at me, and having been alone in the space only a moment before, I did not process what was said. The guy then sarcastically mutters under his breath "or the floor whatever" and takes the lamps I'd just set down and puts them on a table nearby. I took all my donations back. You can't be a jerk when people are donating things to your non-profit

Nice workers however prices are getting out of control being everything is donated and everything is profit, they were such a busy store because the prices were low now they're out pricing themselves and they're going to see their volume go down no volume no profit.
