Employees are friendly and helpful. They don’t just walk around or hide in the back. They are literally restocking the shelves nonstop. We’ve had some many of the Aldi brand items and we’ve been pleased with all of them except one (veggie burgers have weird seasoning). The produce is AMAZING!!!! And if you want a delicious egg roll, check them out in the refrigerator section where you first enter the store. We are saving $50-100 each week!!!!

Aldi is definitely my all-time favorite grocery store! Clean, organized and everyone is always helpful and friendly. And, the clearance items are amazing!!! No where better. Now is the time to stock up on things you can save for the holidays next year.

This is a European style grocery store from my experience. Store is well organized and the lines move quick enough. The parking lot is decent too.Bring your bags or buy them there to take your purchases home with you.They have some of the cheapest wine in the area but the quality may not be the best from our last purchase.

Feral children sprint down the isles while a young white man with a single dreadlock sings loudly while perusing the vegetable isle. Carts veir wildly like Atlanta traffic. Coughing and chaos. An old woman hunkering over a cart meanders towards the checkout, she is no match for the fast walkers. Will no one help her? Will no one let her in? Fair trade bags filled to the brim with crunchy granola only to return and be filled again and again until the only crunch is the soft click of the carts being returned to their cold orderly prison. They stand in solemn repose, waiting for their next mission.

It was unbelievably horrible. This was the worst experience ever. I am a loyal Aldi customer, and this store has me rethinking where I shop. It was filthy, the workers were rude, much of the produce was roten and was still on the shelves for sale. Terrible experience.

I like ALDI but I wish they had a clearance section. This location is always doing a lot of business. Please pass savings onto the customers.

Rude older woman staff member. Like normal stores you fill your cart and go to a available checkout station or self scan. There were no lines behind a checkout and when went to one we were approached by this woman telling me that someone else is before us very rudely. I see a couple waiting behind another check out station waiting to be served. I asked the couple if your waiting for the station that I approached earlier and they said no, they are waiting at the staion that they are standing behind, (common sense), like 99.9% of any other store on the planet. And when we scanned our groceries this same woman watch us like a hawk making sure we weren't stealing. I love Aldis but I will never ever return to the Smoky Park Aldis in Asheville, NC ever again. This happened on Saturday November 4, 2023. I wish corporate will read these complaints

The cashier at this Aldi refused to allow me to use a credit card at the regular checkout register. She said that checkout was for cash only. I told her that I do not use self checkout. I have never been turned away from a regular checkout lane because I was using a credit card. I plan to complain to the corporate headquarters about this.

I had a quite the terrible experience at this ALDI. The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. yesterday. As I was at one of the self-checkout registers, I was approached by a rude woman who had brown hair and was wearing glasses — she’s the employee in this picture I took. Now, before you read any further, keep in mind I have a learning disability. She decided to come up to me with a rhetorical question about the checkout process (because I didn’t understand why I couldn’t pay for my ticket). Here’s what she said: “Oh, so you don’t know why you can’t pay? You have to click on the “Pay Now” button. I think you left your brain at the door when you woke up this morning.” Anyway, I just thought that was so mean and disparaging, and how this woman DOES NOT BELONG IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY. It pains me to write these words, and as someone who’s a part of the disabled community, I’d like to ask ALDI to reconsider this woman’s employment with them.

I just have to give a shout out to these guys. Every time I go shopping, my 7 year old daughter, Likes to help collect the empty boxes. The staff all love her And praise her And make her feel special. One of the staff Gave her an aldi workshirt and she was over the moon. She didn't ask for a name they're going to make her one. This has always been a really great store with really great staff And even though they are extremely overworked they are all really nice. One gentleman in particular, named Cody?, she loves and it is rare to see a young man be so kind and encouraging to a child.Thank you Aldi!!

I live 30 miles away and shop at Aldi every month. I prefer it over my local grocery stores, by a long shot. Not only is the food better when comparing products, it is cheaper in most cases. Always fresh produce with great prices on the "picks of week". I can get in and out very quickly because I don't have to stand and compare the prices (and quality) of 10 different brands of wheat bread, olive oil or almond milk.... Etc.

Priano Spicy Arranbita Sauce is my new favorite! I have tried the high end sauces at other stores, some close to $6.00 for the same size, sometimes smaller. I paid $1.89 for this jar that doubles as storage for office supplies or a measuring cup.Aldi brings me a fun variety of food at incredible prices! Fast and friendly service.My grandmother in Belgium introduced me to them back in the 80's. Thrilled that they are as close to my home as they were to hers!

Busy with only only one checkout lane open. Good thing they have several self-check machines to utilize, since the line is so long to get a cashier. Some prices are better here, while others are as much or equal to the price at the grocery chains. You can save money here, but shop carefully.

I have shopped Aldi's Since the 1980s, When only poor rural America knew about them. They supplied canned foods and processed Box goods to sustain a diet and at much cheaper cost than any of the retail grocery chains were able to obtain. I have seen a substantial change in the last few years in the goods that all stores the carry; indicative of a huge shift in the American diet and a major change in the customer demographic; rising food costs and cheaper alternatives have driven customers with larger wallets and more diverse palettes to shop Aldis. In the last few months I have seen a substantial increase in their product costs And less savings compared to other chain grocery stores.. I do however support Aldi's in their endeavors for their own line of products and their attention to strive and obtain the lowest environmental impact for the products that they carry.

Some of their food was priced good. Other than the self-checker, the self-checker was a great idea. Some of the lunchmeat is good. The frozen meats are a good price. The store is a good place to shop.

Aldi has become the place to shop for reasonably priced groceries. If you see it, buy it, because it won't be there later. The selection is usually good. I'm not a huge fan of all the automated self check out stations, however, it does help the lines to move faster.Big parking lot, lots of carts. Avoid going on the 1st and 12th of the month, that when the store seems to be at its emptiest.

Being honest, we were totally surprised to find this Aldi outlet while visiting Asheville. This is a typical Aldi store with great prices on supermarket goods including produce, meat & dairy. This particular Aldi outlet has good parking.
