Don’t know what is wrong. I have tried at least 5 times to see if they can order me gravy train by the case because we go through so much of it. Never get a call back from the manager or any response. Guess they don’t give a care. Maybe we should go somewhere to purchase.

This place is ridiculous. I talked to the store manager tonight about 8:10 PM and he told me that he doesn’t have his cashiers to get MVP cards for people to help them if they don’t ask about it if they forget about it it’s tough luck they just miss out on the savings. My daughter came up there and bought some stuff today and didn’t know anything about the MVP and the cashiers does not educate anybody. I accidentally called the one on 64 first and talk to a wonderful lady out there that has really wonderful management skills. Her name is Beckyand she told me all of her cashiers are trained to use MVPs automatically to help people get their discounts, because if not, what’s the point of going to Food Lion we might as well go to Lowe’s food they definitely do the same thing there and not to mention Walmart is cheaper on a lot of things anyways, but we choose to go to Food Lion to get in and out faster but if their customer service is going to be like that and they’re not gonna help our kids when we send them to the store then what the point if we’ve got to backtrack to go back to the store to get it all rained up for nothing What is the point of doing all of that and shopping at Food Lion to be loyal? Where is the customer service at?

Great grocery store. Always feel welcomed when visiting here. Very nice and clean shopping experience every time I purchase groceries. Now, at certain times, mainly around 3pm through 7:30pm Mon thru Friday, it's quite a wait when approaching the only intersection at the only stop light. Traffic can be backed up! This is the only thing I have issues with from where this Food Lion is located. But, it's a busy traffic area anyway though!

As usual: OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I know I sound like a broken record in praise of these folks who work at Food Lion, but they are just so efficient, so helpful ......just darn nice folks!

I was sadly extremely disappointed in the prices, I left with about 12-15 small normally on average inexpensive items and paid almost $100 AFTER coupons and mvp discount, plan to shop elsewhere even though food Lion is only 3 minutes away from our new home. Update: 03/14/2024Sadly still the same situation as previous.

I usually do my grocery shopping at the Food Lion on Hwy. 49 in Asheboro. I have been in there time after time for years. I have never found this store anything other than immaculate. It's always well stocked with my favorite items, foods, even soaps and detergents. The prices are no higher than any other grocery store. I recommend this Food Lion for a relaxed, organized shopping experience.

This Food Lion has more of the things I need, like Lipton diet peach tea, blue buffalo dog and cat food and their treats. The associates are helpful and courteous.

Food Lion caters to low to middle-income families. The international section is small, but there is an additional Mexican section. The produce section appears to offer a very limited range of products as well. On the plus side, I've always considered the Food Lion bakery to be excellent.

Great grocery store, come here all the time to get my groceries, great selection of stuff and the staff are always friendly!But ill tell the story of my recent experience here:I walked into the Food Lion grocery store, ready to pick up some groceries for the week. As I made my way through the aisles, I couldn't help but feel like someone was watching me. I tried to ignore it and focus on the task at hand, but the feeling grew stronger and more overwhelming. I reached the checkout line and quickly grabbed my items, eager to get out of there. As I walked back to my car, I couldn't shake the feeling that the store had intentionally made the experience unpleasant for me. It was almost as if they were trying to discourage me from ever coming back. But despite the crowded aisles and strange odors, I found myself drawn back to Food Lion week after week. Because even though they might try to make it difficult for me, I couldn't help but feel a sense of loyalty to the store that had become a part of my routine.

Higher prices all around, If something is on sale buy 1 get 1 Foodlion will jack up the price of 1 so you aren't getting a sale at all. No one is ever in the office to help, No one answers the phone hwy 49 store. I would not trust Foodlion for any type of pickup. Extremely bad costumer service

After looking for a certain wine that I couldn’t find, I asked a worker for help. She instantly said they don’t have that wine anymore without even looking. I knew that wasn’t true so I continued to look and i finally found it! Pointless workers

Nice well stocked and clean store I just wish they knew how to make real Italian bread and rolls. All the bread tastes the same just made in different shapes. No crust and spongy. Wally world is the closest bread in Asheboro to real Italian bread and even that isn't great. Rant over.

This Food Lion is fabulous. It's set up different than the ones I'm used to and I love it. So many choices. Everything is always fresh. The store is always clean. The employees at Food Lion are the best anywhere. Food Lion does it right! No self checkout. No bad attitudes. Always a smile. Always helpful. Awesomeness at its finest!

We caught some specials yesterday that were actually cheaper than Wally world I also like their fruit vegetables better and their meat some of the store clerks could be a little friendlier but you find that everywhere but overall it was a very pleasant experience it wasn't so crowded that I couldn't get down and I'll and I could reach the stuff that was on the shells pretty well and last but certainly not least there wasn't a bunch of screaming kids in there to annoy you
