First and LAST time! Where to start? Shelves were bare yet there was empty inventory carts in the middle of the aisles. Floors had trash and most unorganized DG I have ever stepped foot in. Some of my items the prices rang up wrong and the cashier would not honor prices tagged on the shelf because "someone" was doing a reset. Not my problem...BEWARE prices listed on shelves is not what you're paying. SCAM! I had to go to another store because they didn't have alot of what I needed. Never again...I'll never waste my time or give this store my hard earned money.

Wow words cannot even tell you about this store, let alone the employees!! If I could give it a zero I would! But for a short review don’t use the self checkout because when it runs out of paper one woman that works there will ask you what do you want me to do? Well I myself work in costumer service and well I want you to fix it, just like I would have to do myself! It is always not stocked and inventory is everywhere and then the employees being rude on top of all the inventory sitting in the way not on the shelves. Save yourself the headache and go to family dollar where they are nice friendly and actually care!!!

I had an awesome experience at this store and I've been to many Dollar General everywhere. The employees went above and beyond to assist me with anything I needed and even at check out when I pulled out my coupons she still had a smile on her face and scanned my coupons. Every other one I've ever went to the employees are never friendly, helpful and when I hand them my coupons they usually treat u like a criminal but not this store. I asked if I had time to run grab 2 more with my coupons and get back in line before she closed and she said sure even though it was 5 till closing. I just wanted to recognize this store for the way they made me feel welcome to be there and that they appreciated my buissness. I now only shop at this Dollar General.

Edit: the district manager called me to apologize and informed me that Micheal price was in fact NOT the manager of the store and was just a regular employee.The managers name at this location is actually Brittany who was also very apologetic.———The manager at this location named Micheal Price falsely accused me of stealing and banned me. He laid down what looked to be security tags and claimed he had video footage of me taking them out of my pocket. I told him to run the video footage again because it was not me.. he then told me he didn’t have to prove anything! I called the cops to get his information so I could file a complaint against him to the private owners and to corporate. The cop came outside and told me he claimed I stole whatever he accused me of a week ago! I wasn’t even there a week ago!Very unprofessional & super disappointed as this store is new to our town!

This is a Brand new Dollar General. I loved the fact that the shelves were stacked neat and there was plenty of stock. They do need help and there appeared to be a few workers around, but the good thing, they were actively hiring....This will be my go to store.I recommend this store over the others in town.

I have watched three customers struggle with the self checkout. Each time 1 of the 2 store employees ended up doing the self checkout for these customers. Those of us in line for the regular checkouts had to wait until all was well with the "self" checkout customer. That will not keep me away from $General stores but I wish they would rethink self check outs.

Employees are super sweet. Store is a pure ghetto. Cluttered up isles. Buggies with 3 wheels. Some isles are not passable. One lady can't run the register and stock shelves as well as cleaning. I spend at least 150.00 per week here. Other dollar general stores in asheboro are fine.

I said they had the biggest biscuits!😂 Actually, all DG's are basically the same. Just a few stores have very friendly staff,where others are very rude! Some are clean and neat, most aren't, unless it's a new DG🙄 One thing for sure, all of them are out of what I need,most of the time. Sorry to say, they don't have the biggest biscuits in town😂 That was the review for Biscuit Company!🤣

I have never been to this dollar general before and will never go back. It was a hot mess, not just a little bit messy but All out stuff every where the shelfs r not stocked right, u can see the planners hanging there but nothing on the shelf. U boats all over the store, carts in the parking lot and in front of the store with trash in them. One of the worst dollar generals I have ever been in.

The black lady that works here is so awesome. Dollar general should be ashamed of themselves for not hiring help for this sweet lady. She works her rear end off. I just bought a coffee maker there a few days ago. It shorted out. These things are a Chinese fire hazard.

New store with growing pains. Prices in health and beauty aid prices often wrong on shelves. But nonetheless, prices are better than Walgreens. Case in point:box of Lorna Doone cookies at Walgreens 6:29At DG 4.00. Good value for those on fixed incomes. Rolaids 4.59 DG 2.15.

Evening shift workers were very rude. Didn't even announce time for closing just started snapping at the customers saying people need to learn to tell time its after 10 and yaw have to leave.

Stocking important...one problem. 2. They should be allowed for example 3 for 8 on drinks or any items should be divided, not have to buy all 3 so I have to go to food lion or Harris teeter. Ending usually food lion anyway cause not only do they divide, they have longer expiration for 10 cents more but since the law of NC sucks, watch all any where...bad experience at FD on dairy. Notice help at some dg slackers. Location good employees...bad locations bad employee. NC has bad laws!!!! Walked out because stock problems. Wish I could go to just one store. New dgs higher prices. I was in climax, higher prices..problem..location. Walked in ..walked out...it was like CVS.

Everything feels like it's on top of everything. The store is dark not much lighting. Kind of a depressing place. This is probably one of the worst Dollar Generals I've been in. The checkout lady was very friendly though

If I could leave zero stars I would. I bought 3 packs of chips ahoy chocolate chip cookies, EVERY LAST cookie in ALL 3 packs was nothing but CRUMBS!!! if there was a whole cookie in there, when you picked it up it crumbled.! Can't even enjoy a damn cookie for the sake of every last pack being crumbled and no this was not a truck issue they look like someone picked it up and threw it on the ground.!!!!!!!

Dollar general is the new store to go for us poor folk. The worry I have are ingredients in products that are sold there, but what can I do 🤷
