Everytime I go there that blonde short haired guy with the sunglasses is all in my face . Seriously uncomfortable. The worst employee y’all have hired. I’ll try to get a snapshot picture of him next time. Like why are you all on me Everytime I’m checking out and all up in my face. I’m going to file a complaint with Walmart. Seriously the most uncomfortable situation. I used to shop there multiple times a week, now I go as rarely as possible. Weird

Walmart online have some very deceptive practices. Purchased item online money gone called for proof of receipt. Advised that it was fraud and to call the police. I keep getting the run around with employees and management, as to what happened with mymoney. Very horrible experience Never shopping online again.

This Walmart is pretty much groceries which is why I go here when I go to Archdale! I like this walmart because it is CLEAN! The people are very friendly and know where things are! Also they have their shelves stocked not just in spots but the whole store! Vegetable department is nice! Clean good looking fruits and vegetables and a great meat department! All around stocked clean,all you need they have it! Good prices too. I found all I was looking for, and more naturally!

Great friendly staff, not a huge Walmart like most but has a nice small grocery store feel. Self check out makes things nice and easy and the help is always helpful!

On a weekend day (May 21, 2023), there was literally no cashier at a single cash register. There were people there, presumably working, hanging out in front of the self checkout line, perhaps watching to make sure people who were forced to check out their own items didn't steal anything or forget to ring up something while on cashier duty? They had people to do that and yet no one to man the cash register? Shouldn't customers be on payroll or receive OSHA training for lifting heavy items? I can't say I blame the workers for this because they're just doing what they're told by management or corporate. Prior to this downhill experience, the staff have been generally nice and I can't say they were rude even this time, but this is too much for management or corporate to expect of customers, even for Walmart. I'm not expecting Neiman Marcus, but this doesn't meet the very basics of even okay, mediocre customer service.12-31-23: I am editing my review, which was initially a one-star review due to the lack of cashier service earlier in 2023. On 12-29-23, there were three cash registers open. The cashier who waited on me was very courteous and efficient, and this is the experience I remember when this store first opened, not what I experienced earlier in the Spring in the paragraph above. I hope this keeps up!

This Wal-Mart is normally very clean and the pharmacy staff is very friendly. Most of the time staff is happy to help you at check out and the Deli always marked down items.

I would recommend Food Lion which is just next door. Better selection, better prices, friendlier staff!

Clean. Food costs are less than Food Lion & Lowes Foods but not as cheap as Meijer from the midwest. In fact, ALL food in NC is more expensive than the midwest. I miss Meijer!

I wish I could give no stars! I went in this store for the first time just to grab a few things to eat and they’re putting unknown substances in the food. Food packaged at these stores along with all of the fruits and vegetables.

Good place to go shopping but... If you're trying to get hired there in Archdale Walmart don't get your hopes up because.. the wait time is too long for orientation almost 2 weeks before a notice. Everything is done by phone apps only now plus the background screening isn't legit enough when asked over and over about pass criminal records & if you get on here for a job congratulations however, a small simple misdemeanor charge will not get you hired. Walmart doesn't care If a case was over 20 years ago. You may not get hired which is a shame. What ever happened to the no discrimination policy. Wow.

I have noticed lately that this Walmart has been racially profiling. Black people in particular me as a black African American. They put someone at the front door if they'll you are going to try to walk out of the store with the groceries. They didn't used to do that but that's what I noticed lately.

I really like this Walmart. I don’t generally like Walmarts because they’re huge and there’s too many people and chaos everywhere, but that may not be an issue for most people.

It's not overly crowded and the staff are very helpful. My electric buggy died and an employee went and got me a new one. I shop from this Walmart all the time. It's small, but it's just food and some household essentials. And there's always an electric buggy to be found, unlike the other two Walmarts in my area. Definitely recommend this store and will be returning for future shopping trips.

I like the store an I visit alot. The only thing I have an issue with is that not 1 department can answer a phone call. Every single time I call I will not get a response of someone picking up. This is very frustrating when I don't have time to visit the store an need a question answered especially the pharmacy. I'm not sure what the issue is that no one can seem to answer. I understand they get busy but don't you guys have a position of someone who does this kinda of thing.

We signed up for the online delivery pickup. It was supposed to be delivered between 5 and 6 on a certain day. At 7 pm, still no groceries and no call. We had to call them. They told us it could be delivered later in the evening which would have been 8:30 pm. At that point, we requested it to be moved to the next day instead between 5 and 6pm. Next day get's here...still no groceries. Call back at 6:30..."your order is still being processed"...these guys need to get their act together. We asked for our order to be cancelled and they told us it couldn't be done without us calling a 1-800 number.You get what you pay for here. No masks, no socially distancing.Lower prices equal NO customer service...Spend your money at a locally owned business...not this ridiculous place.

As a family we love to shop here it is convenient, small and intimate. I loved working here and absolutely loved getting to meet new people. I had awesome coworkers that were hard working and went out the way to help all our customers. The problem is the management. They don't want anybody to oppose them and even if you are innocent and have significant evidence you are still wrong. I seen fellow coworkers bullied to the point of tears. They made a senior coworker whom is also an army veteran paint the posts outside in 103 degree weather with no concern for his health. I was threatened to be fired on numerous occasions because I stood up to the Store Manager on unjust write ups with proper documentation backing my case. They have unreasonable expectations for their employees and speak to people like a dog. I ultimately lost my job because my wife has major medical issues and I missed too many days and they don't acknowledge doctor's notes or hospital stays as a viable reason to miss work. One employee was told that he was a bad father for leaving work to rush his infant daughter to the hospital for an asthma attack. I am still in touch with my former coworkers and some of them work nearly a week straight every week until recently. No amount of money or benefits are worth being treated like a dog. This is an excellent Walmart. The customer service is Outstanding. The manager or at least the one I have dealt with only a couple times, is phenomenal. She really takes her time to help in whatever way she can. The store is always clean and everyone is always saying Hello, how are you? I have seen stockers go out of their way to help someone and once they finish get asked another question and continue to help with a very pleasant attitude. I live in this area so I visit this Walmart quite often. This Is My Neighborhood and This is My Neighborhood Walmart!

Clean. Helpful employees. Decent variety of goods and wide selection of brands to choose from. Prices are competitive with the other nearby super markets. This location felt properly organized because i was able to quickly and easily locate nearly all the items i needed. All the things on my shopping lists were in stock with very few exceptions.

The pickup service is fantastic and super easy to do. The employees are friendly and very helpful. The Wal-Mart app is easy to use to place orders. The entire process is very efficient and user friendly.

Employees here are some of the nicest of anywhere I've been. Lower stars is for...stock is always low and if you only have self check out open and one regular register you should have one employee that just stands at self check and helps those guest checking themselves out. The employee should not have to go anywhere else for example the customer service counter. WalMart makes enough money to hire one person to work self checkout...no excuse everywhere else does. I've been there many times at peak times when all 4 check outs have customers needing help, only one line is open, and the self checkout person is no where to be found

Nice clean store, atmosphere is much better than N Main. However they need more cashiers not everybody likes checking themselves out. We pay enough for the groceries already now we have to save the store money by being our own bag boys lol.

Good selection, clean BUT had to do the self-check out as 4-6 employees stood around talking with no one caring to check me out. In my opinion good way to become unemployed. Customer service just isn't what it used to be or should be.

For a Walmart, this is one of the best local facilities. It's not often I see stocking issues and the wait time is not excessive. There are a few really awesome employees and I regret I don't know my favorite cashiers name, but she is lovely! I believe she has been promoted to over the front end, possibly? She ALWAYS has a smile on her face and she is the bagging queen! Overall, I don't panic when I have to go to this Walmart, which is saying a lot. 😊

Two stars are giving only because its a quick in and out. Managers nor the people work there do not recognize a customer. I never get a hello when I walk into the store. Shelves are missing product as Well. This isnt based on one visit.

Everytime I go here I have to wait at the self checkout for an employee to verify my age when I purchase alcohol. Not just a little wait either. It is usually around 5 minutes. Today I had to wait in the region of 15 minutes (for staff reading this, the register asked me if I wanted to continue 5 times). The self checkout lane was held up for that period of time and the management never noticed. The staff did not notice. Please correct this issue, guys. I like the low prices but if I have to pay $10 more elsewhere to save 15 minutes of my time than it is worth it.
