The one time I shop there, two steaks spoiled before their expiration date which were to be grilled the day after Christmas. We saw the brown spots all over them and chose not to eat them. I finally got around to taking them back on the 31st and they refused to take it back or do good business in any way. I won’t be back. Sad story

Very friendly people...just buy their fried chicken and boars head deli turkey there. Beautiful store..prices higher than where I shop.

This used to be my “go to” place for beer but not anymore! In the craft beer section most of the smaller cans have no prices on the shelves. I picked up a small can of “Bombshell Beer Company” along with a couple others from better breweries. While leaving the store I decided to look at my receipt and noticed the smallest can of beer in my bag was $10... $10 for one beer... not even a tallboy. So I did a 180 at the door and went right back into the store to see if it was a error or if I could get my money back just to be told they can’t do anything about it since it’s “alcoholic”...

Not special needs friendly.Manager called the cops on a special needs child.Do not go to this store if you or anyone is special needs this store only belittles you.My family has been going to this Lowes Foods in Archdale for over 20 years in August 2023 was the last time we will ever go back.

Always a great experience! Picked up flowers for cemetery yesterday. Beautiful arrangements and reasonable prices. Great service from staff as always! Very clean store.

I came for the fried chicken. The chicken was pretty tasted, but the sides look dry as if it's been sitting out untouched for hours. The store needs a makeover.

Higher quality of staff, fresh meats, produce, specialty items, and deli than local competitor (next door even) did I mention a higher quality of staff? Overall they are customer oriented and I've not seen the childish, unprofessional display and interactions of the Lowe's employees that I have experienced at a competitor on the same block!!

I wish they would upgrade this location, I would be more likely to visit. As it is, it's harder to get the specialty items in (like all the sausage works varieties, though there are always some prepackaged there- and they lack the local growler fills of other locations). Otherwise, the store is clean and employees very friendly. I would shop more often if it included all the features of other Lowe's.

The store is sandwiched between two other grocery stores. I choose to come here because there's usually less of a crowd. I guess I'm not going to pay extra anymore. I had to bag my own groceries. Not just help out, a manager was chit chatting with another employee while I was bagging groceries. The cashier that was ringing me up started ringing another person up before I finished bagging my own groceries. I could have went to a store like Aldi's and got the same level of service for much less.

I had the most wonderful experience with this Lowe’s Foods store. My family planned a luncheon for our mother’s 89th birthday and I ordered two combo sandwich platters. They were delicious and beautifully prepared along with a very fair cost when compared to other deli departments and sandwich shops. Even though I do not live locally I am telling all my friends and family in the Archdale area about this wonderful deli! The show of appreciation from the employees is above and beyond my expectations and such a pleasure to experience.

I went in looking for a cake not sold at this Lowes. I settled for a box of fresh baked apple hand pies. Got them home, warmed one up in the microwave, took a big bite and salt! Someone mistakenly mixed cinnamon and salt instead of sugar. The manager was very nice and took them back and gave me money back but the damage is done. I may never eat apple pie again.

I had a great experience. Customers should be more patient these days. Most businesses are short staffed and the ones that are working are doing the best they can. I shopped and checked out wirh no issues.

Very small store. Was hoping for expansion like other Lowes foods. They missed the boat because Walmart is next door now. This particular visit cost me much stress when getting some lunch meat at the deli. They very older woman suddenly spoke to me about getting rid of our president. She was mumbling I'll quite a bit about how awful everything was going and the price of gas. I finally told her to please stop at the political views. She had a giant order ahead of me and refused to service me. Another young lady came up who was very pleasant completed my order. When I left I told the older woman that I didn't think it was appropriate for her to speak politics while I was grocery shopping.

Everyone there is so friendly!Whenever there is an issue they are quick to address and fix! The Manager (Kevin) is such a pleasure. He goes above and beyond to make every experience the best he could. There is the best place to shop anywhere near or far! Thank you guys for being awesome!

The store appears well stocked but we couldn't find the items we came into the store for (like hamhocks). The deli food looked old like it had been there a few days and would make you sick if you ate it.

Nice clean store, I especially like their bakery selections. I must say though that their Arizona bottled tea was very difficult to find. After checking all the likely aisles, I ended up having to ask at customer service. Turns out it's on a small wall near the beer.

The employees are friendly and helpful. While they were all masked, I was disappointed there were no wipes available to clean off the carts.I'd probably shop here more but the prices on almost everything were right much higher than most other stores.Thanks for your response but here's the thing...at Food Lion I don't have to search for savings, their prices are just lower everyday.

I normally shop Food Lion for my groceries, but have recently started going to Lowes. The produce and quality of selection at Lowe's seems to supersede what Food Lion has to offer. The prices may be a bit more and the aisles may be a bit more cramped but I'm willing to pay that extra to have higher quality product.
