Why can't they get their prices right. Never rings up what the price is on the shelf and I even check the bar code before going to register. I got 2 packs of tshirts that said $10 each. They rang up $11.99 each. I told the cashier to keep them. Amazon or Walmart here I come. At least Walmart checks the price on the shelf and changes it. Dollar General just don't care. It happens all the time I guess a lot of people don't check but I will make it public knowledge so customers will pay closer attention.

Stopped in on the 12th of June around 7 pm and the lady working was very nice and extremely helpful. The young man working that night was as well. I did notice that the lady on the register was especially kind to the older customers, she actually took a lady’s bags to her car. The store was clean and was very organized. I will continue to shop here again in the future.

A great place to shop for cleaning supplies. Toilet Paper, Paper Towels. Drinks, Coke product & Pepsi product is like 3/10 or 3 /11 you can get these cheaper elsewhere just look for specials. Overall a great place to shop.

How could it be okay not to enforce to wear a mask?!!!! I asked the store manager and the lady who was working the counter why are they not enforcing people to wear a mask?! I was told they don’t enforce cause arguments and they do not want to deal with people when it comes to wear a mask! I told her it’s not fair that the rest of us who are being safe and care, not safe for those who care. I asked for the store number to report this and she said it’s on my receipt. What is wrong with people?! Im sure FOX news would like to get wind of this!

I love the employee that was there today but usually like all Dollar general stores and the employees come and go like the rain! I do like this store cause it's not all junked up like a lot of them when the truck comes and delivers they work hard and get it put out instead of letting it sit around in the aisles and when they finally finish I get another truck so this is one of my favorite Dollar general stores. I used to go to the store and Thomasville by the hospital but it's just horrible now the new management is offly hateful and the store is always junkie and I know it's possible to keep that store clean because it was like that with the woman who opened it and it stayed that way for a long time. anyways the store that the review is over is great I would say hit it up anytime you can and if you no way to get the road fixed where you can pull out and go in either direction it would be even better and I know that Dollar general has no control over that so that has no effect on my ratings the only reason it didnt get five stars is because 75% of the time there is only one person working and it's hard to get help and I do not blame the employee I blame the company for not allowing her/him to have more help or not giving the manager of the hours to allow two people in the store which is crazy in my book to not have two people in any store one person is dangerous. sorry about this if there's anything off I'm dictating it through my phone and not typing it and sometimes I talk a little too fast

This DG is in great need of management and good employees. I was in the Archdale location on Wednesday May 24th to pick up only a couple items. There was only the older gentlemen with a beard stocking and one other female which was on register in the whole store. The female did not have on her name tag, but has jet black hair, wears glasses and a few pearsings. She was extremely slow, at one time there were 11 people waiting in line to check out and all we could hear was her complaining. She was telling everyone this was a side job for her that she was a police officer for 13 years. When there was only one person in front of me she told her to wait she had to get chance. I looked at my watch (because I had been waiting a very long time) and it took her 8 minutes to get coin from the safe and get it unwrapped. I noticed a few customers just sitting their items down and walking out. Plus she complained about the company, the assistant manager, not being paid enough to put up with what she does there and stated she was about to walk out like the others had and they wouldn't have a "damn" key holder. I have worked in management and and retail for many years so I just want to say with employee of attitudes such as this store has had for the last year or so it's no wonder they have so much turn over in management and employees. The store is in a great location and I feel has potential but a district manager really needs to look into this location for better employees. It has always been lacking in this area.Thank you for your time.

This store has absolutely poor management. With a good manager it would probably run a whole lot better but every time I go in the employees are stressed with so much to do. I saw the manager in the store once before and she was sloppy rude and unprofessional so I guess that falls back on everybody. It’s sad because it’s a good location with nice employees and high traffic just need some good management

One of my favorite places to find those things that every household needs,,,,from those little things to bigger items you might need also,,,,,on a tight budget,,like myself? This is your store!!!! Give it a try,,,,as lots of people feel as I do!!!!

Dollar General is a great store that I like to shop at because they usually have good deals on paper towels, laundry detergent and toilet paper. I highly recommend Dollar General!

I don't understand why the staff and customers are not wearing masks. I will not return. If you can't care about your clients, there are many other retailers who do. Shame on you. Oh and staff on the floor had no masks either.

Always have a good deal and more often than not everything is name brand. I would go to dollar general first before going to a regular store just because a lot of times they have the same products for cheaper.

Always friendly staff here even when they're busy. Sometimes they could use a second cashier to make the long lines move a bit faster.

We were from out of town stopped by 4 birthday balloons for the granddaughter. The cashier was very helpful very polite the store was real clean

The the Isles were left full merchandise that needed to be stocked the employee were very friendly I only seen the one cashier in the store and she was trying to stock and wait on customers, the shelves were empty as a exact things that people use everyday

I lost my card at Dollar General in Archdale, went to pick it up with proper I.D. and they called the cops on me... And they say "it's not a black thing"... poor police officer, he couldn't believe this is what he responded for a "debit card"... Hahaha Dollar General, and poor Krista(the cashier) she was so hyped... bet she is pissed manager didn't even have her back... she should be less mouthy next time😉

I go in for one thing and always see something else that I need or want ..but it's a good place but they seem to run out of things it's like they don't order enough but when they have what need it nice to be able to go there it's closer to my house...

Employees that work at Dollar General in Archdale or really nice people they're really awesome the manager she is really nice person and she's very helpful along with the rest of the employees no matter what you need they will go beyond their jobs to help you find what you need
