We arrived at the Walgreens pharmacy counter at 3:15 PM. I was sick and had to wait for the staff at Walgreens to prepare my medication. My husband asked them three times, and each time they said it would take 15 minutes. Finally, I got the medicine at 5:05 PM. One of the staff members even questioned why my husband didn't ask them. It's outrageous to make a sick patient wait for nearly two hours without any apparent reason. It's ridiculous.

Staff is not interested in helping customers. One of the employees was hanging tags and never acknowledged me as she reached in front of me to hand a tag. The pharmacy tech didn't want to help me find an OTC, and once I insisted they walked away after pointing out the section it should have been in. Once I found what I needed the item rang up wrong and the pharmacy tech just pushed me off onto another employee again. I almost always have a problem at this location.

All around the team inside of this Walgreens is amazing. The ladies at the pharmacy helped me understand my insurance and how to set up my automatic refills. The ladies at the front including the photo center are so sweet!! My phone died on the way home so I turned around and was able to get my phone charged enough until I got home. I just moved to the area so I can't wait to make this Walgreens my permanent location (:

Went for a COVID and flu test. The assistant in the pharmacy said the it is done in the lab, and lab supports walking in. Scaned the ID and insurance on the machine, waited for about one hour and nothing happened. When the lab door opened, I asked the lab workers could the test be done today or has to come later. The lab workers said they don't do such tests at all, the tests are done in the pharmacy. I decided to figure out what is going on and waiting on the line in the pharmacy again. This time, the same assistant spoke differently, she said in order to do test, patient needs to make appointment. Then I queried why she said there is walking in session. She said these walking in session are for other kinds of tests. Why I come for COVID and flu test suddenly go for other lab tests? What she said doesn't add up. Likely it only makes sense if she was just trying to make fun of patients.

I have used walgreens for photos for as long as I can remember. But I always get th3 best customer service at this location. Orders are always ready on time and everyone is always so nice!

We've been in line in the drive thru for 15 minutes and they have only helped one car. It's pretty excessive. Would go inside but feels like we're committed now.

I went in today trying to get some photos printed. I wanted to edit one of the pictures… Omar was working and was so helpful with the editing. He stayed there until I completed my photos. Then he said he would go ahead and print for me! That’s the reason I always shop at this Walgreens! So friendly and so very helpful!

This pharmacy is terrible. I called two days ago to refill a prescription. Tech said no problem, we were good to go. 2 days later I had heard nothing so I called to check on the status. So I called to day and waited on hold for 20 minutes before someone picked up. The tech told me I did not have any refills left. I said that was not true that I should have two, minimum one refill left. And when I called 2 days ago I had refills!!! Tech said there was nothing in the system, but she would look.I was put on hold, again. She after some "digging" she "found" a refill, but the medication will not be in for a week. I asked why I was not told about this 2 days ago and she had no answer. This is a medication my son needs to take on a daily basis and now I am scrambling to transfer his prescription to another pharmacy to have it filled before it runs out.This is not the first time they have "lost" refills. I have had drs have to call this pharmacy to sort it out because we did indeed have refills on a prescription that they said we did not have.This pharmacy is borderline incompetent.

Took over an hour to pick up "ready for pickup" prescriptions on a random Thursday afternoon. First tried to pickup through the drive through (about a 30 min wait), and after that wait, was told that they "couldn't find" one of my prescriptions. They then said I needed to leave my spot in line and come inside because they would have to refill the missing prescription. I then waited another 30 minutes while customers who arrived after me were helped before I finally got my prescriptions. Won't be back to this location, and potentially not back to Walgreens at all, because they do not value your time enough to make sure they have adequate staff on site to handle all customers in a timely manner.

The lady named Maria at the drive thru lane was rolling her eyes and being rude while I was trying to get a pickup. She wasn’t speaking clearly at all so I asked her to speak up a little so I could hear and she continued to roll her eyes and not speak up, if she didn’t want to be there she should’ve gone home, no need to be rude to others.

The store portion is your standard walgreens, no real issues there. The pharmacy was OK for a while, but recently has gone way downhill. I scheduled a flu shot a couple weeks ago, showed up on time, and was told the insurance was not right. I had picked up a prescription using the same insurance earlier that week with no issues. The pharmacy tech behind the counter said he would call the insurance company and figure out the issue. I asked if he could call me back, he said no problem. That was 2 weeks ago and still have not heard back. A few days later, we went to pick up a prescription for our son, same issue with the insurance. We had picked one up the day before without issue. Went to our new pharmacy, and they gave me a flu shot on the spot, no issues with the insurance, and they are super helpful with the prescriptions.

This place is bad. The pharmacy employees all speak broken english. The staff doesn't know what they are doing. They had to pull the manager in to help. The manager walked away from me twice to assist another customer. Then the manager told the staff member that was helping me , "they called me to the front I can't help you." The pharmacist told us it would be 15 to 20 minutes. We have been here for 45 minutes. We have been here since the pharmacy opened and a lady had an appointment at 9:30am and the pharmacist took a another lady and her daughter, who did not have an appointment, before all of us. I will encourage my mother to take her prescriptions elsewhere. The manager needs to be retrained in customer service.

The store itself is pretty average as far as the Walgreens chain goes, but the pharmacy is outrageously slow.If the drive through is even open, it can easily take 30 minutes just to pick up a prescription. Even after finding a prescription in their computer, it’s as if they have to check every single bin to find it. We’ve even had prescriptions filled with the wrong dosage.This store is fine if you need to run in for a quick grocery or over-the-counter item, but look elsewhere for prescriptions.

I’ve been a customer at this store for 10+ years and this is the first time I’ve been compelled to write a review. Every interaction I’ve had here met my basic expectations I have for any retail pharmacy chain, until yesterday. Coming off a two day hospital stay my scripts were ordered upon my discharge and sent to this location. I arrived after the pharmacy was closed but was able to catch pharmacist Tomaez as he was closing, explained my desperate need for the scripts, he stayed after and ensured I got what I needed. I call that great customer service!

Horrible customer service trying to utilize the drive through pharmacy. I refuse to leave my child in the car and I needed to get her some cold a cough medicine. I normally go to another Walgreens in my area as this one has horrible reviews and sure enough they are true. The women proceeded to tell me she couldn’t help me and they don’t grab medicine on the floor. I could do curbside pickup or come in myself. I explained online showed out of stock and sometimes that’s is untrue. She stated well I can’t help you so you can come in your self. When the first thing I said was my child is in the car sleep and I am not leaving my child in the car and she does not feel well. Never again and it’s times like this I say when people come to work are they there just for the check because the lack of empathy and kindness will always leave them miserable! I then proceeded to the Walgreens I normally go to an got the medicine through drive through no issue .

Vital Prescription was called in from the hospital for my husband who just had brain surgery. I Called 6 times over the course of 6 hours to see if it was ready and it was not. Then the last time I called, I was told that when it was ready that they would call me back. They never did. I called at 8:00pm again and the pharmacy was now closed! I drove to the store and was told by manager there was nothing they could do. I had to call Duke neurology to get another pharmacy. The panic that this caused was inexcusable, unnecessary and incompetent!

Made an appointment online (10am) for an additional booster shot and received the confirmation email. I show up 10 minutes before my appointment (9:50) and one of the techs tells me I do not have an appointment. I show her the email and she tells me no. I make another appointment for 30 minutes later (10:30am) and there were 6 people that showed up after me that were taken before me. It’s now 11 am and I still hadn’t received the shot. I go up to the tech and ask her and she tells me that they have appointments to which I show her my email again proving that I have an appointment. The best she can do is “sorry, you’ll have to wait your turn. I’ve been in the store for over an hour and that’s the best she can do. All the techs are running around the pharmacy like they’re lost and no communication whatsoever. I am baffled by the lack of customer service here as ever time I come to this Walgreens there is always a problem. Please do yourself the favor and switch pharmacy’s or go down the street to the one on Jenks. Always a hot mess here.

Wife waited 45 minutes for pharmacy. We filled out all paperwork online prior, they made us both complete it again. The line of people waiting for there prescription was very long. I watched a women wait 15 minutes for her prescription, they then issued her the wrong prescription and she had to come back. Looks like a staffing and management issue. I wouldn't come back here or trust them. Harris Teeter is across the street and they always do well. Staff seemed nice. Pharmacy manager is always rude, how does this guy still have a job. How is this place still in business.

Was a dedicated Walgreens customer for prescriptions for years until talking to Kelly and Simone on the phone today regarding a much needed prescription ordered and paid to be shipped a month ago.I call the store to request the location and status of a prescription I ordered and paid for online on 2/25. Simone was the THIRD person I spoke to who then proceeded to give the phone to her SUPERVISOR, named Kelly.Since this was the FOURTH person I spoke with, and she was the on-site boss, I asked her name to which her reply was, "I don't do last names." I tell her that I don't want trouble and since it was my second hour on the phone I just wanted to know who I was speaking to just as she knew all my information, to which she interrupted and said, "What do you need? We can't see your order so what do you need?"I tell her I found an email with the shipping and payment details and I would like to email it to her since apparently the system no longer shows it. She tells me to email - literally, Walgreens.com@STORENUMBER, but she didn't know the store number. I replied that the email could not possibly be that, and she states, "Well, that's all I have. Otherwise, call the store manager next week between 9 and 4."Now, I have been going to this same exact store for 10 years. I was astonished!!

I received my COVID booster shot at the pharmacy. Check in was easy. The pharmacy tech was nice and helpful. I didn’t have to wait long past my appointment time. The pharmacist was also nice and professional.

I have been using this location for years. Staff has always been great and efficient. Something has happened recently, where it takes forever to get prescriptions. App says ready 10:30am… and at 5pm it is still showing the same. You call and can’t get through to anyone… it’s really frustrating. On top of it, they randomly closed the drive thru for “our safety”. Not sure what that even means. Needless to say, we switched to Publix… I can’t keep hassling them to fill my prescriptions.

Worst service . Prescriptions never ready . My daughters needed face cream for a bacterial infection was put in in the morning . Went at 7pm . Not ready . Then she says maybe in a 1/2 hour . Switching to CVS or Publix’s . Do not go here !

Place keeps taking a turn for the worse. Ongoing horrible pharmacy experience. High staff turnover. Current pharmacy staff doesn’t seem to care or even acknowledge folks waiting in line to pick up prescriptions. How many people does it take to change a light bulb?

The pharmacy at this location is infuriating. Every time I need to go in to pick up a routine refill that is "ready for pickup" I have to carve out a full hour. When I've had prescriptions sent there for acute illnesses (like antibiotics for my baby with a high fever), they have taken over a day to fill them. After sitting in the drive through line for an hour yesterday and driving away without getting my prescription, I've had enough. I'll be switching to a new pharmacy.

This is the worst pharmacy in Apex. Half the time they don’t have meds. Pharmacy techs are rude. I’m switching over to CVS in the target. All you have to do is compare the reviews.

If I could give a 0 I would. I ordered a prescription for my asthma and they said my doctor didn’t call it in….after 10 minutes the lady found that it was out of stock and would be available late Friday. Very bad service. We went Sunday and they said it is still out of stock and will be in Monday. Not sure how a pharmacy can keep pushing back when a medication could be available.Do NOT come here.

I never write bad reviews but I’ve been coming to this Walgreens for years and it continues to get worse with their lack of staff. I feel bad for their employees working so hard. They had to shut down the drive through the last few days. They also gave me double the amount pills of a steroid I had to take. I feel like they are just so rushed with the lack of staff.

The only reason I come to this Walgreens location is because it is the only one in this area that compounds medications. There doesn’t ever seem to be enough staff to service the people that need to pick up their prescriptions.

They inserted the lab Corp inside the pharmacy just to get more money without have a decent reception area or a waiting room or a lobby, I checked in at the express check in machine waiting to be called for 30 minutes at the aisle then they said Oh we don’t do test before 10:00am, you have to wait one more hour until we start!they don’t have the note online, they have a little note close to the ground.Don’t waste your time there.
