Moved here a couple months ago and have been to Ed’s a good bit since then. Everyone is always super friendly! I do think some of the food is hit or miss as I wasn’t a fan of the hamburger steak or the French toast but a lot of the menu is amazing!The grits are the best, they have an amazing hash brown casserole, the sausage links are so good, the country ham is perfect and super good as a breakfast sandwich. Their biscuits are so soft and good. They always have lunch specials for a great price. The cheeseburgers are good too.We really enjoy coming here. It is for sure a nice small town restaurant and they know all the regulars by name and orders.

This place here was sent to me by co- worker and when I say it's well worth my travel anyday. The host are friendly they talk to everybody. The people are even friendlier makes you feel right at home. The food speaks, yes speaks for itself. Child I couldn't stop saying ummmmm ummmm ummmmm.Parking: They have more parking in the rear of the building.

We randomly eat at waffle house for a good breakfast-meal and today the SO said let’s try a local place, we’ve jsut been down here about 2 years and still settling in and learning the area - decided to try Ed’s as a Waffle House alternative and WOW! Even better than I could have expected, the eggs were perfect, the hash browns were SOOO good grilled crispy, they have red hots! As well as all other breakfast meats but of course that’s a southern mark to have red hots. Big cups of coffee, and a random that the bathrooms smell really good 😂 11 out of 10 will return! Excellent experience

Called in a to go order for a 12 oz. medium cooked ribeye steak with bake potatoe and a side salad that cost $18.99. BIG MISTAKE folks. DO NOT ORDER THIS MEAL unless you want to eat a very thin, very well done, hard to chew, overall disappointing, steak not to mention a very smelly griddle fried yeast roll that is saturated in some kind of oil. Not sure if the smelly roll is due to rancid oil being used or the griddle needing a serious cleaning...was charged extra for using my debit card. That info would have been nice if it was disclosed when I ordered my food on the phone, but was never asked how I would be paying for my meal and I had to retrieve my bag from the shelf it was sitting on...hummm. Nice way to do business Ed's Family Restaurant. I don't see myself being a repeat customer anytime soon.

The wait was long, but once we got a table it was great. Portion sizes are amazing and the food is just absolutely delicious!! Definitely will go again.

ED'S catered our Quinceanera at Carrollock Farms, and it was amazing. The spread was delicious, It wasGreat home cooking! They were so great to work with ahead of time. Benji went out of his way to help us decide what meals we wanted. They were very accommodating!! Thank you for making our special day even more special!!!

I'd probably actuslly rate this 3 1/2 stars, but will give them 4. The service was excellent!! I had the hamburger steak, and felt like it was lacking real flavor. Others in my party also stated that the food was ok. I did enjoy the laid back atmosphere, and I'd say the place had a nice cozy feel to it. I would visit this restaurant again, but probably pick something else off the menu. We parked across the street, but noticed later that they had a parking lot.

Went for the first time the Saturday before Mother's Day. They passed out roses to all the ladies. Unexpected since it was the day before. The rose was beautiful and lasted for over a week. The breakfast food was delicious, and the service was great. Everybody did their job with a smile. Only issue was that the table was dirty - very sticky. They were very busy so I used the restroom paper to clean the table. Can't wait to try lunch!

Sometimes it's worth driving out of the way for a great breakfast. Nobody does it quite like Ed's! Great atmosphere and friendly people, both customers and staff. The omelets are a good size as well.

Great family friendly local restaurant. Despite a full house, wait staff and hostesses remain patient and hospitable. Food is standard American fare with turkey burgers a specialty.. I appreciate fried okra on the menu. Restaurant tries to source local to the extent possible.

Awful owner with no manners. Additionally they have a van that drives with no brake lights or turn signals apparently.Avoid the restaurant and the people if you can.
