It's worth the drive from Sanford since our butcher shop changed hands and is not the same. Excellent old-school butcher shop. Clean. Large selection and service at its finest. Heavenly place for the rub and spice lovers. I recommend you come and get you sum! 1st stop is Broadwells for some plants, then Carolina Butcher Shop or vice versa. Bring a BIG cooler. Beat the crowds and come early.

We just finished one of the filets I picked up this afternoon, and as always it is superb in flavor, tenderness and texture.Fed one of our neighbors one several months ago and they said they had never had one so delicious! Marvelous quality and the people are your friendly neighbors!!!

What can I say,if you want a good Steak to throw on the grill Carolina Butcher shop is the place to go. They will cut them as thick as you want and their prices are on point. My wife and I ended up buying all sorts of meat and all was very fresh, definitely will be going back.

Have been going to Carolina Butcher for a few years now. Always has quality meats. You can choose some of your favorite cuts of meat right out of the meat case. The pepper bacon is one thing that I always get when I go. You should go see them at least 1 time to get the feel of a real butcher shop.

We love this place and tell everyone we know about it. My husband loves the steaks and sausages and the marinated meats are my fav! Discovering it during COVID times meant waiting in lines and it was always busy but it was worth the wait. We can’t wait to get a deep freezer to finally be able to enjoy some of their bulk buy specials!

It's worth the drive from Fayetteville. Excellent old-school butcher shop. Great Angus Brisket. Large selection of meats and service is awesome. We recommend you visit them as soon as possible. Beat the crowds and come early. You won't be disappointed.

Can't believe I've been getting my meat from my local harris teeter the whole time since i moved into town when i had this place so close! Amazing quality meat, and super helpful and nice staff (the guy who rang me up could have been a bit more friendly though, felt like he was watching me and betting i was going to steal something, but his attitude changed soon as my credit card went through lol)!I came in late on Christmas eve, and not only did they still have an incredible looking prime ribeye for me, but the guy who helped me, i assume who is the manager, gave me a free wagyu ribeye, which I've never been able to afford really. This is my first Christmas alone, and that really made it so much better. I'm definitely coming back here for all my meat from now on!! Thanks guys!!!

The place smelled terrible and looked unkempt. When I asked the person helping me where they go their meats from- they couldn’t give me a clear answer. Sounds like it’s not local. Better off just going to my nearest grocery store

Meat packs are back! Just left after picking up the #3 freezer meat pack and stocking up on many other goodies for the month.We converted from Butcher Box to this local butcher and the quality and value is unmatched!Weekly specials can't be beat and the employees are friendly and helpful.All of this was about $125 after tax.

Heard about this place a while back, been looking for a Butcher. Needed just the point of a brisket and they cut one for me while waiting. Burnt ends turned out great. Decided to try a couple other items; jalepeno stuff chicken breast wrapped in bacon and stuffed mushroom tops. Turned out great. Also got their box special...will be a repeat customer. I decided to repackage the meat, out of the box, in freezer bags since I wouldn't be eating for a few days.

Awesome place, I love going to a butcher and they know what they are talking about and can figure out what you are trying to say! They are very friendly, order a whole beef tenderloin, and did not have to ask them to clean it up, they already did it for me and ask me if I had a dog for the scraps? Wow, I did not know about cleaning it up first, and they gave me great tips for the grill. Everybody rave about this cook! 3 years and counting on them, never fail to impress me.

It was my first time visiting this place. We heard they had tri-tip so we decided to drive the 53min just for the tri-tip. After browsing around and picking out some tri-tip we stumbled upon their garlic and herb pinwheels. We threw the pinwheels into a cast iron skillet that day and cooked those bad boys.. The garlic pinwheels were amazing and full of delicious flavor. Not chewy, just right. 👌 We marinated the tri-tip for 2 days and grilled it. My goodness, it was like seeing Jesus for the first time. Juicy and flavorful. We will continue to make the drive to this shop and hope to try more of their meats.

The Carolina Butcher Shop offers the best meat and chicken in the Triangle; locally grown and always fresh. They also carry homemade sausages, an incredible blend of ground bacon burger, an assortment of fresh and frozen vegetables, seafood, and local spices, sauces, and jams. The staff is always friendly and often offer to carry bags to your car. This small Veteran owned store is a hidden treasure. I found the selection and staff to be fantastic. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the products is great.
