This is a good, bad, weird, and concerning situation. We were in Andrews NC as part of an annual vacation. The cabin we booked was not acceptable when we arrived and it was after get some The only hotel was Quality. We just hoped they had room.and would allow dogs. They did so we checked in for 1 nights so we could regroup.The good - the bed and pillows were quite comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave unexpectedly, and the night desk staff was very pleasant.The bad - the room was a smoking room because we wanted to be on the ground floor. It reaked. I can't even come close to describe the smell. The walls, ceiling, vents, air exchanger, everything was coated with tar. It was like a family of 5 chain smoked 5 packs a day for 30 years in that room. The room just felt dirty. The door had gaps around it letting bugs in, and all the fabric was worn, torn, and stained. We also found a paper towel wadded uo between the fitted sheet and mattress cover. It was like the cleaning crew did just what they had to.The weird - it would seem like the office staff may have actually been the manager and they seem to have taken over several rooms on the second floor to live out of, which is fine. They had small children and pet and were gardening on site. Again, fine but weird when you see all sorts of boxes and such on the balcony.The concerning was an encounter we saw/heard. The little girl living there (maybe 5) was walking on the balcony and saying don't touch me like that. There was enough going on that this behavior raised concern.Overall, go into it knowing you get what you pay for and you should good sleep.

Had to change rooms because the first 2 rooms smelled like musty mold and cigarettes even though the rooms were none smoking. The second set of rooms smelled slightly better, but because it was 11pm I was too exhausted to keep playing musical rooms. The shower had mold. I was not impressed but unfortunately it was the only place to stay in Andrew's. Would rather sleep in my vehicle next time. The night clerk was polite and friendly.

I've stayed here twice, both times in the same room. I love the big bathtub, it's almost worth it just for the giant bathtub. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. My only complaint is the continental breakfast, which leaves something to be desired, although they do have a waffle iron, and you can make your own waffles, which are pretty good. The staff is friendly and late check-ins are no problem.

I couldn’t believe how good this hotel is. I am a Hilton Honors member and usually stay at Hampton but I was traveling with a lot of friends and the price here was reasonable. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The shower pressure was great (and the shower curtain was long enough). The manager, his name was AP, was extremely friendly and attentive. When I’m in the area I will stay here again for sure.

Exceeded expectations. Super clean! Mini fridge, microwave, iron, hair dryer, coffee pot w/coffee, all in room. Cute and convenient snack and drink machines. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Adequate parking, comfy beds and 4 clean fluffy pillows on each bed. You can smell the clean. You can't fake freshly laundered bedding and theirs is crisp and clean. Great rates, great everything.

Rip off. There were 5! flies in my room taht kept landing on my mouth all night. Gross. The breakfast is pathetic; stale onion bagels with peanut butter. Yech. The television is a joke. Half the channels dont work at all. Some of the channels are too dark, some have no sound at all. Some of them only use part of the screen! This is a joke at a Holiday Inn price.

The rooms have had some updates as far as door security and new tile in shower. Microwave is nasty, fridge is ok. Bathroom door sticks so children can’t get in or out without help. Paints needed very badly. Beds are very soft.Would I stay here again..no, not unless the rooms have some improvementsNearby activities: The flea Markets in Murphy r why we came here.Food & drinks: Downtown has many restaurants and Food Truck Friday which was fun.Noteworthy details: They have a bbq grill and area free to use. Also a gazebo and pool . The creek behind the parking area is beautiful.Plenty of places to walk your dog.

The best thing about this place is Ruby in the front desk she is the best human being i have ever met in my life super helpful and kind I mean she went above and beyond to help us truly an amazing human being..I don’t leave reviews ever I really don’t but the place is terrible we scheduled a 3 night stay we didn’t even stay one they were kind enough to refund us 2 days but the rooms stink the doors are broken and don’t lock properly there is mold everywhere the sheets were dirty the bathrooms dirty and everything in there has dirt or mold everything is broken in there

My colleague and I were making an overnight trip on motorcycles and found this on the web. We were delighted with the property: very friendly staff, clean rooms, safe, quiet. The staff was very helpful for local recommendations and directions. Breakfast was very basic. Set your expectations for price and location: for us, it was perfect and we would highly recommend.

The beds were very comfortable. Loved the pillows! Rooms were nice. I had a sticky door which proved challanging. Ended up in a different room. Water was colder than I liked. Others with me, loved the beds and pillows as well. Over all, i would come back.

Be aware!!!!!!!!!!We had a family trip and stayed at this hotel for one night....unfortunately!!!!I woke up around 5am, turned the light on and saw cockroaches running in different directions. Went to the front desk to address an issue and was offered to move to a different room, which I didn't want to because in my opinion if there are cockroaches in one room, there's a good possibility to find them in a different room as well.I asked for a refund and manager said that what I saw was not a cockroach and all they can give me is $30 refund. Ridiculous!!!!! Just heads up for everyone who decides to stay in this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, even with my crazy family. The pool area was very nice and well maintained. Breakfast was good, everything was fresh and hot. Room was very clean and air conditioning was cold. There was a nice gazebo and swing to sit in and listen to the creek just behind the hotel. There were also rocking chairs out front of the hotel to relax in. We will stay here again.

I booked this hotel through Choice because my husband and I decided to stay an extra night in the mountains. We got to the Motel about 2a.m and crashed without taking a shower. Well on the next morning, I was getting up to take a shower when I found the most disgusting tub that I have ever seen. I left the room to go to the dining room to find my husband and when I got there, he was also very disappointed as the hotel advertise serving a hot breakfast only to find they have a waffle as the only hot item on the menu.

Because of our pet we have stayed at Quality Inns often.This property is well kept and clean. They are short handed so you see the manager in multiple rolls but we we neverhurting for service. Our heater went out , we reported our AC was out and within an hour the manager showed up and changed it out his self! Bravo!!

Loved my stay here. The staff was great and very attentive. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Utlized the pool and found no fault there. Continental breakfast was good an included a waffle maker. If I were to travel through this area again I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was polite and courteous. All I really needed was a relatively clean room and a good night’s sleep while I was in town...and I got that. The room wasn’t as clean as It could have been, but it wasn’t gross. Just little things like smudged hand prints on the bathroom door. There were also small sticky spots on the carpet in front of the sink. A light bulb was blown over the sink (but it was one or four in that fixture), and the outside light by the door didn’t work.There was a better breakfast selection than I expected.The main lobby was being remodeled while I was there.

The room was ok, clean but the toilet ran so jiggle jiggle😐. The grounds were kept well. The breakfast was over very early. Too Pricy for the quality. Enjoyed the swing. Love the Sweet Black Cat that came by my room. She's missing an eye but is very friendly.

The experience was amazing. We booked a room at this hotel because we were taking a trip up from Florida to ride the Tail of the Dragon and surrounding areas on our motorcycles. The staff was so great and accommodating. The rooms were very clean. Upon arrival, since it was hours before our check in time, the front desk attendant was able to check us in early since we had been driving through the night with no sleep. She also was able to put the two rooms we rented next to each other so we could be close to the rest of our group. Great overall experience. Definitely would stay there again and recommend to friends and family

I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Beth was wonderful. I left a very important item in our room. She is going send it to me. The location is fantastic. The room was clean. It did have slightly musty smell. But it was not due to lack of care. It’s just been raining a lot. Stay there you won’t regret it. Also, there is a very nice outdoor pool and a great little I talion restaurant not far from there. And there’s a huddle House if you don’t want the breakfast that’s provided .

This place worked out great for our trip to Deals Gap. We needed last minute accommodations, and though they had a couple nights of full house, they made room for us for the whole week. Could not have been nicer or more accommodating, down to dry towels for our motorcycles!! They have a lovely wooded gazebo area where guests can cook on the grills or meet at the picnic tables, a wonderful outdoor swing, and were very dog friendly. And the view of the mountains was spectacular. We will definitely stay again next time. Thanks everyone.
