June 2023. Dad and I spent the morning driving oil to Andrews and checking our the memorable addresses from our ancestors. We ate lunch here. I was Kinda surprised to see the great chili dog eater actually opt for a Gyro today. Although old rock and roll was playing on the sound system, the record collection pictured seemed to remind us that there were still other types of popular music in the 50’s.

Frankie’s never disappoints. Delicious hotdogs and the most friendly service. A smile and pleasant attitude makes a difference, and adds so much to an establishment. Andrews, NC is such a great town, and Frankie’s simply adds to its charm.

Great dogs, great staff and great price.Just wish there was french fries or onion rings or some fried mushrooms as a side. The food is so good you don’t really need it but it would be nice.

Forget the hot dogs; the Cuban sandwich is the star of the menu. Authentic Cuban bread from la segunda bakery in ybor city, baked ham, salami, mojo pork, Swiss cheese, pickles and mayonnaise and mustard. Served prensado. Just like what the cigar rollers ate at the turn of the 20th century. Muy bueno.

For what I got it was way too expensive $15 for two hot dogs and two things of potato salad and the hot dogs was nasty the lady does not know how to make in Chicago dog so I wouldn't even give him a full one star I'd give him like a piece of a star that's how nasty they are
