This Ingles has been in Albemarle for as long as I can remember. The deli/bakery is the little secret and the Chicken Salad is a MUST buy item! They make it fresh daily and it usually gets gone really fast. Also try the Buffalo Chicken Dip! Ingles is always well stocked and very clean. Their meats are always great and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten anything that was bad. The employees are always so friendly and knowledgeable.

This is the only place I know I can go in and get a shopping cart full of groceries without breaking the bank. If you like potatoes you can sometimes find a 50lb bag of reds for just over $12.

I really like I goes store. They have some products that can only be found at any other stores. They have very nice employees working there. I did go to the deli area and purchased some wings. They had been in the warmer for a while. I am kind of a picky eater and really only like fresh cooked food. So no was not impressed. But I will try again.

Love shopping 🛒 at Ingles. 1. They always have things that you can't find at any other grocery stores. 2. Great Fries Chicken 🍗 3. Which is technically #1 the staff is always friendly and helpful!

Beats the Wal-Mart crunch hands down. Prices are a bit higher but comparable, but hey, you get to shop without feeling like your stuck in traffic! The store is CLEAN! The shelves are stocked, the selection is great. The Staff is friendly, helpful, and are glad you are shopping with Ingles!

My 1st choice for groceries. It's closest to my home. I know all the cashiers. Everyone is open and forthcoming. It is like a barbershop and salon inside of a grocery store because it's not uncommon to hear great convos going on, but still aware of the time. Love it. ❤️

Good meats and decent specials. The bakery and dehi are pretty good. Their in-house fried chicken is the best in town for parties and get-togethers. It's a little old-fashioned, which is great because they focus on food items. They seem to have the widespread selection of food items in town.

OMG! They have this lemon cake in the deli section and it is absolutely amazing! The staff is awesome. They are friendly and quick to check you out, which I love. Seriously tho, get that cake and thank me later.

I will go to Ingles over any other grocery store. You can find some certain foods and items that other grocery stores don't carry. And the prices are about the same and sometimes less, but once in a while, more expensive than other store but still very worth the trip. It is actually mainly the meat department that drew us to Ingles. They have such a wide selection and always seems fresher in comparison to the other grocery stores. Not to mention the cleanliness and much easier to find easy parking than Food Lion. Go see for yourself. You won't regret it.

UPDATE: Their sales flyer says they proudly serve Boar's Head meats. So after a trip to Walmart today, I specifically drove here to get a higher quality deli meat. The deli rep said they don't sell Boar's Head... So I guess maybe their deli manager doesn't order it. I'm not sure why Angela's review from 2 days ago, says that they do. In addition to the employee telling me they don't sell it, there was none in the deli case either.Oh well, everything I said previously below is still good 👍🏻.___________I like their hot bar. The chicken alfredo had mushrooms and large chunks of chicken. The macaroni and cheese had lots of cheese.There are some items that they sell, that I have not seen at other Albemarle places. Like Texas toast slices in the bakery area, huge handmade donuts, heirloom tomatoes.It's nowhere close to amazing grocery stores in large cities, but for Albemarle, it's pretty good.

Absolutely love their selection of meats & special markdowns that no other store can offer. Always clean and the customer service is always excellent!!

The customer service was above and beyond expectations. The selection of grocery items was better than normal grocery stores. The only reason I gave them a 4 out of 5 is the prices seem a little bit higher than normal. Remember to apply for the Ingles membership card so that you can get a discount.

Ingles has items in stock when other places do not. All of their staff are friendly and appreciate your business. They really get to know their frequent shoppers and start to build friendships with them. Ingles is a hidden treasure to Albemarle.

I like that I can shop here on any given day and it's not super busy like other grocery stores. The bakery has delicious sweets and they also still have a hot bar.

Truly like there fried chicken 🍗 🐔 😋 it's truly good from the deli also there rotisserie chicken 🐔 😋 👌 🙌 is really good as well also there 🍩 🍩 🍩 donuts is all kinds of sweet tasty and mad delicious they be hitting on point like 🤪 😜 I mean highly recommend the chicken and the donuts plus the employees are nice respectful 🙏 and courtesy of good people they are well respected in my book I truly like Ingles👍👍 👌

Prices are a bit high but competitive on some things. I enjoy the donuts, and the salads are fairly good most of the time. Went to buy a charging cord but they don't carry those.

Problem is, there sale paper doesn't follow what they carry in there store. Reason I'm told, it's a small store and that's why. So you see a good sale, oh we are small??

Cashier was extremely rude, acted like it was a big deal for us to go through her line. When my mom was not looking the cashier looked at my mom rolled her eyes and shook her head. When I called to speak with the manager he was extremely understanding with my frustration. And agreed that it was bad customer service. If I ever walk in there and see that the old lady cashier is the only one I will walk out and shop elsewhere.

I shopped at Ingles yesterday and the cashier Max assisted me in checking out my groceries. He was so kind. He greeted me. In checking out I was short of $1.27. I was going to put something back and he said no ma'am I will take care of it. I told him no thank you. He said that is the way he was taught to do things and he paid for the remaining balance with his own money. Tamara also came out of the bakery to greet me and say hello. She had assisted me at the 1st of the week. Ingles has become the store I will shop at from now on. Everyone greets me and is so kind. It means alot for young people to care and have a compassionate heart. God bless all in the store. They make me feel like family and loved.
