They treat customers like trash, witnessed a cashier patronizing a lady about drinks she had under her cart, she told the young man she scanned them five different times, but he still didn’t believe her. After she left, I asked him why he did that. He said we have to do all of our food stamps paying customers like that. I’ve never seen them do that to anybody else. Still to this day. I know she was mortified

The manager was very helpful and walked back with me to help me pick out the right Smithfield pork loins that were on sale. He also had a very nice employee check me out at the self checkout. Very friendly and courteous employees.

The store layout is not designed in a way to make you buy more. The lay has not change when you know what isle your products is on the experience a more productive shopping experience.

They have the best cream cheese Danish. My cat loves the cream cheese on it. Plus I really like their meat department. There are some things that are higher priced but it's all according to how you do your shopping. I go every week.

I like this store. I use other grocery stores but come by here some. They have a good produce department. And I do get meats here. It is a good place to get regular food and household stuff.

I normally am in love at any food lion some of the staff is great but I refuse to come here on the weekends. The ladies in the front are super rude and irritable. When I asked the bakery for cupcakes for a party she said no we don't have a decorator. I said well who ices the cakes? She said if it's not out there your not getting it. This is embarrassing for Food Lion but shout out to Walmart for filling my 200 dollar party order!

It's a basic grocery store. They feature their own store brands more than standard name brands. The store brands I have tried are mixed, some okay and some not very good. The produce section is small and unimpressive. The deli bakery is also nothing special. There are NO items from the deli bakery that are outstanding. If you have a large grocery list, you might not find everything at this store because many items sell out or are not stocked. This is especially true for weekly sale items and name brands. The meat section is reasonably good and well stocked.The store is fairly clean. There are 4 self check out registers. Otherwise, check out lines are long at times. People generally ignore express check out item limits and the cashiers don't enforce 12 items or less. Parking is congested at peak times. Shopping during daylight hours is best because of crime in the area.

Do not buy the food lion brand Mac and cheese that is the knock off of Velvetta or Kraft . It is uneatable !! It is the cheese packet that has a terrible after taste , like a chemical ! I mean I know canned cheese is never really great , but this was just wrong . Because of it will not buy their brand of anything .

Good produce. The best quality in town, overall. They do get overwhelmed at times, but recover as well as any. The overall stocking levels have improved lately. The focus at my store is on the self checkouts is a bit disappointing to a long time shopper. Shopping the sales is paramount now given prices.

This is our favorite Food Lion! The service is always great, shelves are stocked and the store is clean. It's always easy to get in and out quickly. I like knowing if our time is tight, we can order online and pick up at a time that works for us.

I was traveling and I stopped at this Food Lion. The store was real clean and everything was neat. The bathroom was very clean also. I picked up a few items. The staff were very friendly. If this store wasn't 40 miles from where I live, I would frequent this store more often.

I usually have very pleasant experiences here. I find the staff professional, courteous, and friendly. The store is well lit and clean. Like everywhere these days it can be challenging to get certain items but that's more of a vendor problem.

Don't know why but it seems about 80% of the females working here always had a stank attitude. No customer service skills whatsoever. I feel more welcome at McDonald's, and that says a lot. Needs major improvement in that area, or better crew.

My cashier Amber was the best. So friendly polite and knows how to bag groceries. Young kids just throw every together. Not Amber. She put them how they should go....dry with dry cold with cold...give her a raise

Food Lion has items not available at Walmart and other stores. I found my favorite canned meat, but, sadly, my favorite potato chip flavor was out of stock.It also has a good selection of cheeses, and a respectable deli stock.I was able to find bread products out of stock elsewhere as well.The store is well arranged, with aisle markers to guide you to product.It is colocated with my pharmacy, so I can handle two errands on one trip.The loyalty program does lead to savings. Shopping the sales can save quite a bit.I was able to find an item not available elsewhere today. Good job, FL!

The store is the cleanest most organized store I've ever been in. I live in Pinehurst North Carolina and stop there on occasion on my way to Charlotte. It's always immaculate. They obviously care about not only there store but also their customers by presenting what a fantastic location to go to. Also everyone in there speaks to you and offers their assistance every time. Things don't happen like that by coincidence. It starts at the top, so great job with the management team

I really like this Food Lion mainly for the employees and managers. SO helpful with anything! Helped me out big time when I had to make western union wire, I started wrong destination and they got it corrected for me...what a lifesaver!

This Was the best place to go the manager named Lucas smith and the employee named ronald both were being Discriminatory towards Me and I will not shop somewhere where employees are allowed to cuss you out and tell you they dont serve people like you… that is absolutely ridiculous i have never in my life been talked to like that Called Corporate and Explained the situation and Im hoping something is done about this the only person in that store that is friendly is melaine .

But they need to do something about the 2 or 3 men that appear out of nowhere and approach only female customers and female employees that come out of the store at night walking to their cars.I have said something to management about this and all I got was " yeah we know about them " Well not a good response a year ago and still not a good response now either 😕

Went and order a photo cake says in advance. Received no phone call and then on the day I picked it up was told they couldn’t use my image! They decided to do a different design then asked for and paid for.

This Food Lion has much improved from how I remember it 30 to 20 years ago. I remember it as old, and dingy. But now it's floor is intact clean, and shiny. It's produce, in a slightly separate room, has good variety and looks fresh. Has a good selection of meats. And a wide selection on almost everything else. I enjoyed shopping there this time and will go back .

One of the managers on duty today tried to talk trash because I was bagging my own items the cashier didn't. It was either I get a bag or I leave the cart in the lot. I will choose another store next time if you are going to get that bent out of shape over 2 bags that I should have gotten in the first place.
