The cart people and the deli people are so very nice. However, several times the cashiers have been extremely rude, specifically one in particular. I try to avoid her line because she throws the groceries around, is rude, and barely acknowledges your existence. It has happened more than once, so now I will just take my business to Suffolk. Sad because others warned me about this Food Lion but I've always been able to just ignore rudeness and unpleasantness. I shouldn't have to continue to ignore it. Oh well...

A very well managed Food Lion—best grocery shopping experience you’ll find in Ahoskie (compared to two competitors).Though modestly staffed, I will say these folks work as a team—as I see a good amount of employees looking out for one another, which translates into a good customer experience in the end.The manager (or at least who I deem is the manager) is often-present, and can be often seen walking the aisles greeting customers and talking with employees—and has a very good attitude. —again, translates to employees and ultimately to customers.Registers are always quick, and they don’t wait to open more during a rush, which is appreciated.My only critique is the produce section could be a little more robust. —but it’s not just this store that has a wanting produce section and I believe Ahoskie is a ‘last in line’ stop for deliveries as most produce in the area always seems to have a rough around the edges appearance. —it’s definitely NOT a symptom of management but supply chain and proximity (I believe).Of all the places available for groceries in Ahoskie, I’d recommend this store above all others.Beat the crowds by shopping between 7-9 AM…and for the widest selection of freshly shelved items.Nice work Food Lion of Ahoskie….you're a cut above in service, atmosphere, staff morale, professionalism, and management.

Good store. They always have decent fruit. The check out workers are very friendly, the people at the delli are very helpful I always order my kids cakes from here they are very good and they have really good prices. They are always having a sale on something or another.

Will never shop there again. First time there, the bin where the Roma tomatoes were had tomatoes that had been there so long they were flat and completely covered in mold, several were like that. Next time there I was checking out and held my phone up for the guy to scan it and he continued to scan food and wouldn't scan my phone. Had to literally reach under my arm to get items, Ieven asked him to scan it.Didn't scan my phone until the end.Never again.

Food Lion is my store. Every one is friendly and I feel safe shopping there. Mask wearing is required for every single person who works there and shop there and I think that's very important right now.

I like this store better than the one closer to where I live in Murfreesboro. This store is cleaner, brighter and the employees are more friendly. Not that the employees are bad or mean at the one I Murfreesboro it's just a totally different atmosphere in Ahoskie. It also seems like the Ahoskie store is better stocked most of the time. There's times I goto Ahoskie and the meats that are on sale are sold out but I always find what I'm looking for, for the most part. I just like the Ahoskie store better, and I don't mind having to drive further.

This is my local Food Lion store and I must say I am pleased with the service and the check out lines. If I can not find an item I just ask any employee in the store, and they will walk to the correct isle. The cashiers are friendly and fast. Yes I love this store!!

This is my household grocery store. I tell everyone I know to check Food Lion first for any grocery specials. Especially downloading the digital coupons and MVP specials.

A decent selection...not the best but acceptable. Sometimes the cashers are a bit short-handed. More often than not. Prices are very competitive for the area. I shop here the most when I'm grocery shopping around town.

Their customer service is good overall, but they were a little rude. I do like their prices on their cereal, fruits and canned foods and they also have plenty of deals with the Food Lion brands, which is still good like the other brands.

I ordered a fruit basket from there for a friend that had just came home out of the hospital, and it was beyond my expectations, really nice, I will definitely be buying more at some point..

Good but no Starbucks "Sumatra" coffee. Really good watermelon; good croissants, etc. I was just disappointed about the coffee. I let the checkout guy know...but he didn't really care.

They have alot of stuff. Good quality. Most is overpriced, especially the majority of the meat. But overall friendly and clean, and pretty well stocked.
