Interesting that the pharmacy hours are listed as 8-10....until they rudely tell you they are closing for 30 minutes midday and shut the gate on you. Reading the fine print, you will find a subtext that does state a lunch break from 130-200, but why would Pharmacy hours be listed at 8-10 (intentionally inaccurate)? Bad customer service is the answer.

After not being able to get medication from the Pinehurst location after a week I tried this location. After 30 minutes on hold they told me they had my medication and I could come in 1 hour to get it. After waiting 20 minutes in line the pharmacy tech said they didn’t ever have the medication and it would be several days before they got it in. Why would you waste someone’s day if all you had to do was CHECK YOU HAD THE MEDICATION. Absolutely ridiculous

Stopped by here after no luck getting a flu shot anywhere to be told you have to make an appointment. I waited in a line of about 6 people, looking for any signs saying no walkins or appt only but I did not see any. Felt like a waste of time.

Walgreen use to be a great pharmacy that's why I chose them had no problem get my medicine on time. Well as of lately I can't get my medicine on time and can't get the right amount I'm suppose to have. Calling them and trying to explain to them it's like talking to the a brick wall cause you going to be wrong and they right. When it plainly state on you label how much you should receive.

I arrived here for vaccinations last Tuesday scheduled at the website. My error was I scheduled at Sanford. This wasn’t a problem. The staff led by Karis worked me into the lineup. I note there’s been a change in leadership and it really shows. Congratulations on a great team.

I’ve never had such a hard time filling my prescriptions. My Dr called in a rx a day earlier and I had to call them to have them fill it, in spite of the fact they should’ve had it done already. Then the tech hung up on me. The rudest, slowest, disorganized pharmacy there is. I’m changing pharmacies after 32 years with them because of this one particular store. Never again and I’m telling everyone from my church as well.

I've been using this pharmacy for years and they used to be good, but lately they have gone downhill. Absolute worst experience I've ever had trying to get prescriptions filled. I've been waiting nearly 2 weeks for some prescriptions. While some issues are on the insurance company or doctor's office end, some are because of the incompetence and inefficiency of the pharmacy staff. So completely unnecessary and they have been beyond rude. I will be taking our family's business elsewhere. However the store manager Tina was lovely and did her best to help a frustrating situation.

This location has been filling my medicine from out of state for the last 6 months, then decided they wouldn’t on a whim. I specifically asked when I brought it the first time if they would be able to, & they reassured me they would. Then all of a sudden they decided they wouldn’t with absolutely no warning. I walked the prescription in the day before, it was taken & they said it would be ready for pickup at 5. There was no phone call or anything to let me know they would now not fill it. I had to call up there to see why my prescription wasn’t ready, & then they told me. Some consistency in their rules & proper patient communication would really benefit this store. I won’t be using them again.

I was on hold for over 1 hour and 15 minutes. I drove from Montgomery Community College in Montgomery County and was still on hold when I walked into the Pharmacy. While waiting, after all that time, Walgreens hung up the phone on me. This is not the first time this has happened. If you are not going to answer your phone; get rid of it and save your customers time and on y'alls monthly phone bill. No need to have something for your customers convenience if all you do is ignore them.

I was on the phone for am hour trying to talk to someone to find out about my medicine. Them they hung up on me. The manager said that they were short of people. She put me through and I got hung up again on. Very bad. I call today at 7 and needed to talk to someone about my medicine. I could not do it over the line. I was on hold for 1 hour and 37 minutes. Never got throw. Hung up and called back and was on hold for 1 hour and 45 minutes. No one would help me. A man keep hanging up on me. They had me on hold and the store closed and no one ever help me. I'm so angry. And mad. Someone should find out the big weeks number and let them know

They have changed their system for (app) so it has been so hard to find out info unless you call. Every time I’ve had to call, I’m on hold forced to continually hear a message that “my call is important….”Waiting physically to pick up the prescription can (and most of the time is) a long wait. Drive through is ridiculous. Adding another lane does NOT help when you only have one person working the window and the counter.

Rude and unhelpful staff. The wait at the pharmacy is extremely long and they never make the appointment time booked. The pharm technicians have no sense of privacy and do not hesitate to announce your private business to the entire store. This is by far the worst Walgreens I’ve ever been to and I will never go back!

Don’t use their rapid test for Covid. Got one done on a Monday, was supposed to have results by that Thursday. The lab on Thursday says they haven’t received the sample. Obviously Walgreens doesn’t know what they’re doing.

Beware. Make sure you count your pills before you leave the store. I had my pain pills refilled and there were 10 missing. I let the pharmacist know and she said that I had received them. I am not a liar. I told her someone there has a pill problem which made her very angry and rude. She has refused to make it right. This is not the first time this has happened. Other family members have had the same problem. Corporate has been called but I will be changing pharmacies.

Wait time for inside pick up is reasonable. Staff always courteous and helpful. Can get RX via phone including get new from your physician, they send fax and follow up.

This place really has the worst customer service skills. Everytime I come to pick up my medicine the ladies are so rude and have attitudes all except one who is always nice and helpful. I understand that this is a stressful for time for all, But it doest hurt to be kind to others. I literally waited in the drive through line after being told that it would have to wait 45 min for my medicine and then when I got back in line I still had to wait for the workers to check themselves out before I was helped.

The pharmacy cashier was extremely rude. Once I arrived they had to run my insurance again. I had to wait an extra 35 minutes to get it filled while they were just laughing and gossiping about other customers. Once the prescription was filled, they tried to charge me $45 for a prescription that I had been getting for free. When to a different pharmacy and got it for free. NEVER coming here again and do not recommend this pharmacy unless they get new management or staff.

ABSOLUTE WORST PHARMACY EVER. Don’t bother going to to this poorly managed horror show. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been promised over the phone that my kid’s prescription was ready, packed my children up in the car to dive the 20 min out, wait in line, and then be told they they don’t have any record of a prescription, or have not filled anything for my child. After waiting 30+min in line at the drive through, I’ve been told to “drive around, or circle the building” while they fill my kid’s medication (all with a heavily packed line of cars behind me). Several times this has happened with my screaming sick kids in the backseat while I’m trying to get their antibiotics. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Minus1 ⭐️My mother and I stopped in to pick up some supplies, however, I did not have any more masks on me. I just used my last mask at the previous store. I was thinking while it’s Covid….we’re still in Covid (because people don’t want to get the vaccine shot and help mankind to live) most places want customers and offer free masks to shop, so we’ll ask for one mask.Well, the cashier seemed surprised when asked. She replied “no we don’t have FREE masks.”The white female pharmacist seemed agitated when asked, abruptly and loudly relied said “no! We don’t give out masks!”Walgreens provides the vaccine shot but not a free mask. People not the store to spend your 💰 at.

This Pharmacy is the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. The Pharmacy Manager has no idea what is going on. They do not know how to order medication, even if it is a recurring medication. No one is held accountable for their mistakes to the point I'm embarrassed when I have to call my doctor and they say we warned you to stay from that Pharmacy because it is the worst in town.

The drive through pharmacy is VERY slow. Was the third car in line and spent over 35 minutes waiting. I am not sure how it could take more than fifteen minutes to get one person's prescription (literally, it took the car in front of me 17 minutes). If it's going to be that long, the staff should ask the person to come inside or come back at another time. Too bad cvs doesn't take tricare anymore - I'll be switching to rite aid.

Good location, clean store. Their computers were running slow and it was tough for the cashier but she handled it well and with a smile. Store layout was same as all new Walgreens. Easy parking.

I don't know if the pharmacy is short staffed or incompetent. Every time I've brought my mother here to get her covid shot who is disabled and needs a wheelchair they have kept us waiting for an hour or longer. They seem very disorganized.

Rude, unsympathetic staff and painfully slow service. I used to go to RiteAid but switched to Walgreens when it closed down. It's a Tuesday and they're claiming they're busy because of the holiday that is still two days away. Plus it's always like this. I'll be switching to Aberdeen Prescription Shop.

I was on hold for OVER an hour attempting to reach the pharmacy on behalf of my mother. This was 3 his before close. I was hung up on THREE times. She said she would complete the request, I drove to another location to pick it up just to find she didn't. HORRIBLE.

Check your meds at Walgreens because they will give you the wrong meds and knowing it's they fault and know refund and to me that's just like stealing they expect you to take meds that's not for you they just stole 32.00 from me so please check your meds because you want get your money back

I go to the Walgreens on Bennett st in southern pines and I have to say they are the nicest and most patient staff , Bob the pharmacist goes out of his way to help you and everyone else is very friendly and professional !

I cannot believe this place is still open. This is most ghetto place you can get around here with rude workers. I went there to get my COVID shot but didn’t trusted the place and canceled my appointment and walked out.
