My family was deciding what we wanted for dinner so it being NFL playoff season and several games on we decided on pizza. Not wanting to do the same pizza places we chose Harris Teeter because they had put a pizza oven with fresh pizza available in recently. My wife went up there and ordered a Pepperoni and Beef pizza only to be told that beef was not available so she called me and asked would pork sausage be ok because that’s what the associate said was available. When she returned to the associate with this order they told her that they did not have any dough and that it would be an hour before it would be ready. This was at 6:00pm. Now the associate could have told her that no dough was available to begin with but that didn’t happen. Guess I can write Harris Teeter pizza off of my list of pizza choices for the future. Harris Teeter make sure to have food ready especially on a Saturday night during a very busy season for pizza orders.

Clean, well organized store. Lots of ready to eat food options including pizza, Asian bar, salad bar, etc. made picking up lunch while I was in the area easy.

I don’t know what is going on with the Harris Teeter in Aberdeen NC, the staff there is very rude. I used to go to that store all the time when we lived in Aberdeen. Now I only go if I am in the area and it is very different. The staff seems miserable, they are short and dismissive to customers. They don’t even know what products they sell. I will probably never go back to the Aberdeen store again. Hopefully they will see this and work on their customer service skills.

While this is our preferred neighborhood grocery store, we had an extremely disappointing experience this weekend. We had been wanting short ribs all day. We went and purchased the best pack of short ribs offered. The price was $10 per pound and the pack was 2.14 pounds. Thus, we paid $22 for four short ribs. Had these been quality cuts, it would have been fine. However, after removing the extreme amount of fat on these cuts, it left us with less than a pound of actual meat. One short rib is basically just the bone and a tiny sliver of meat now. Low quality cuts to drive up the prices even more than they already are.

Harris Teeter is the only store around that I can buy haddock and scallops. Not one store that we checked has them. We had a feast for New Years Eve. Thank you Harris Teeter.

Edited my below review (leaving up for transparency) to 5 stars because of the friendly kindness of the staff, especially Flannan. He went above and beyond to help my wife and I.Staff/prices good.Deducted a star for 2 reasons.1. The Asian bar was basically empty (at dinnertime) and was not refilled in the hour we were there.2. The pizza station took 45 minutes, and the pizza was still somewhat undercooked when we got it.

Clean store. They have most of the products we need except that they have a very limited selection of meat. The stockers/floor associates aren't as welcoming as what the HT brand represents. They mind their own business and won't engage you unless you initiate the conversation.

Tend to be pricey with items not on sale. Sale items are usually a great bargain. This location went above and beyond a few years back when my mom was needing a prescription filled. It was past the pharmacy's closing time but the pharmacist didn't give up. He even gave her a huge discount.

I want to commend Jeff mainly in the meat department for going above and beyond. I asked for a particular cut of beef that was unavailable. However-while I was in the checkout line, Jeff came up and handed me the beef he packaged up for the elderly couple I was shopping for. I am there weekly and he’s always attentive and ready to help👍

The customer service was totally bad. The manager was so rude. Really rude racism. I am not good for English, but I still want to write down this. because when you want to get help in customer service. The service will make you angry, especially your mother language isn't English.

Had an issue with my items not ringing up properly at the register. The nice ladies at the customer service counter resolved the issue very quickly and were very kind and understanding. I enjoy this Harris Teeter a lot. The people are nice and the quality of food is excellent. I can't remember the last time I went to Walmart and probably won't be going anytime soon as long these guys keeping doing an excellent job.

Multiple times at this location I have had service reps with a lot of attitude and unfriendliness. I’m not sure why, is it because I am disabled? which is appalling. How do you hire people with such callousness and just basic unprofessionalism? Why does anyone need to spend money here? I can get everything cheaper on Amazon and Instacart with sweet and polite people, who actually like helping others.

As expected, stuff i was looking for were available and assortment.Deli was nicely stocked and even had the sushi bar which j loved in the branch near my former office.Gal at the wine section was busy helping out fix things and even volunteered that she was available to check out stuff. Pretty nice of her :)

This has been my local Harris Teeter for more than 7 years now and I am so happy to see the new improvements! It has always been my favorite loyal place to shop with all the organics, local produce, speciality foods, etc. I hear people say "it costs more", and I'm ok with that, if it is for my health and well being! I am worth it, so thank you Harris Teeter! Keep up the awesomeness!

This is a good store with a variety of items. The check-out service can be terrible, however. There have been numerous occasions when there was not a single cashier available and I had trouble with the self-checkout -- this is going back to before the pandemic. I once waited 15 minutes without being helped. I had to leave my cart and go elsewhere.On the other hand, the deli staff is excellent.UPDATE: Since the renovation began, deli service has been sketchy. On numerous occasions I asked them to re-make a sandwich because the bread was stale or outright hard as rock. I believe this is because they're training a large number of new staff. So check your orders.

I really like this chain. I will say their list prices are frequently outrageously high, but I have lots of space so buy almost everything on sale. They have lots and they're good. I typically save about 40%

There is some reconstruction going on but that doesn't stop the staff from being kind, helpful, and friendly! The manager greeted me, she seemed very pleasant! The staff shared small talk and laughs with me(the cake decorator, the produce gentlemen, the cashier, and the meat department gentlemen)as if we had been childhood friends! I will definitely go back to this place of business again and again ❤

Management needs to keep a closer eye on their sushi department. Everytime I've come in to have sushi made to order, the worker is no where to be found. The deli workers go to find them, open a door in the back and come back to tell me they're on break...what a coincidence, every time. This last time when the sushi maker was on "said break"...there was a tub of sushi cucumber left out in the open just sitting there uncovered for who knows how long. The only reason I order sushi made to order rather than pre made is because i am pregnant and this is a safer option for me...now I'm reconsidering the safety of their sushi. What a shame.

After the remodeling, the store looks beautiful. Starbucks, wine bar, fresh pizza.However, with all of the room available for cold beverages. Perhaps a section featuring the very affordable Harris Teeter brand Cola and Diet Cola could be added.The bigger location in Pinehurst features Harris Teeter branded products in their single beverage coolers.

It was a stormy night, mid summer. I was craving something, something sweet but not too sweet. As I walked the aisles aimlessly, there from around 110 feet away, I saw a glimmer. As my curiosity was piqued and me belly rumbling, I made my way over to the deli area. Alas, the glimmer was gone. I searched high & low for what had caught my eye. Then I saw it. A cookie like I've never seen before. Black & White. Half white, half black cookie. I was dumfounded in amazement. The cookie that not only is a cookie but a statement. Dare I take a bite of both sides, right down the middle?! I did, and then again, and again until I was left with just a plastic wrapper. It was like I had attained a sense of calm like I had never felt before. I bought every single cookie I could find, just the Black & Whites. These are the only cookies one needs to be satisfied.

Great grocery store, always clean and very neat looking. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. This one always have a great fresh seafood and hand cut steaks. This store in my opinion has the best wine selection in Aberdeen. Only give it a four star rating due to alot of items are a little over priced.

Harris Teeter is the best Grocery store in town!The managers are super nice and polite! All the employees are super nice. I love to shop at HT. They have great discounts and great selection of wine.Store is clean and neat. I am an elderly person and they always help me with my grocery. They are awesome!
